Have you guys seen this? Godsunchained is a decentralized blockchain card game which is on presale right now. Looks pretty cool, even if it is a rip off of hearthstone

old and dead
fuck off

I prefer shadowverse instead

tfw its not even out yet

The art isn't that good in Shadowverse.

Its LOOM based which means transactions to layer 1 will take 4 hours and cost 2 bucks. Enjoy actually owning your 50 cent card that costs 5 fucking dollars to store safely on layer 1.

are you sure about that?

did some more reading. Apparently the whole set is exclusive for the presale period, with a f2p being released after it ends. You also own your cards so blizzard can't nerf or take them away from you. Considering dumping a few ETH into it and seeing what happens

They announced they were going to use ZRX (0x), does that make a difference?

I bought a few packs the day after the presale started and now I have one of those limited edition phoenix cards

can you post a screenshot? why is it limited?

>You also own your cards so blizzard can't nerf or take them away from you.

This is a blatant fucking lie. They can do anything the way to the power of the card. They can nerf and buff cards however they want. They control the dapp. They can remove the card from your ownership and prevent you from signing ownership while its still on LOOM as well. The only way to have 100% ownership of the card is to transfer to layer 1.

But even then then can nerf the shit into to the ground any time they want.

>does that make a difference?

The ownership meme is a lie no matter how you slice it. UNLESS the card is used in a ton of different games and the card is signed to layer 1 which costs money.

Ownership is not the advantage of crypto based gaming. Its the ability to make money by hiding micro transactions that is what really matters.

>the ability to make money by hiding micro transactions that is what really matters

can you elaborate

Crypto feels an awful lot like video game money. So imagine a game with absolutely no micro transactions. Free to play.
But they have this fancy auction house where you buy and sell stuff with your world of warcraft gold! Did you know that in World Of Warcraft the auction house has fees?

If the game is done correctly players never need to know its based on crypto. You boost micro transactions by some insane rate that makes EA and Activision look like innocent school girls. Meanwhile half your player base doesn't even fucking know this LOOM shit is worth real money.

well I remember this shit from when etheremons was a thing, this obviously came shortly after since it's the same trash
not my problem they didn't release a product up until now
same company's responsible for this shit
etherbots.io

anyway
enjoy losing your money while playing an overpriced hearthstone ripoff

They only gave it to people who bought within the first few days of the presale

THAT good? Its literally shit, just like shadowverse.

bought a couple legendary packs. wish me luck

>wasting 200$ on a pack of virtual cards for a game nobody cares about and can't even play

This will go nowhere as a card game, sell everything while you can.

thats what they said about those fucking cats

The cats went nowhere by the way.

the cats have 1st mover advantage and they're non fungible
this thing is just a collection of ERC20 tokens portrayed as cards
