i dont see anybody really seeking out monero without already knowing they need something completely private. its almost impossible to buy btc without leaving some trace unless you buy it in person with cash, and nobody seems to care apart from a niche of users.
for some monero is critical, but there isn't a critical mass of users for which bitcoin won't do. and with ethereum's shards, zk-snark integration, and bitcoin's lightning and sidechains, the place for single-feature value tokens like monero is shrinking.

monero is useless for hiding money, only useful for spending it without the recipient being able to see who sent it. bitcoin works just as well when used as intended for receiving money, and keeping a small balance in monero is all that's necessary.

i fully believe in 65k in 2025. the halvening in 2020 will start to reduce supply to a point they are going to get scarcer.
