EOS vs Ethereum

I am willing to put $1500 at one of those but god fucking damn it, i hear so much pros and cons for both coins. Can we settle this once for and all? Which one is the coin with the better fundamentals and better future perspective (i.e. 2020-2022)?

Why is it a double digit shitcoin? Afaik this is coming from a BTC maximalist and I've seen no valid proof claiming that FUD, except current probs concerning scaling but those are getting worked on.

The issue can't be "worked on." It's a consequence of the DPOS consensus algorithm.

EOS had better tech, i.e. its much faster, fastest blockchain at the moment, no transaction fees, and there is lot of Chinese behind EOS, and Chinese are very good to makin money, i.e. pump their coins

ETH weakness is Vitalik Buterin, he is not good to promote ETH, he isnt enthusiastic at all, vice versa he give negative comments and tweeets about crypto and its future, he gave impression that hes depressed or something, one big reason why ETH has continue plummeting is Vitalik Buterins negative tweets and statements

if creator of Ethereum is so negative, so that cause that people lose faith in his coin, and when trust is gone, its gone

Mate, I am not interested in Chinese dudes pumping their shitcoin. I am not investing in some other NEO chinkcoin.

I want to put my money on with future and eventual real world adoption. I am not chasing pump n dump schemes.

The smart thing is to buy a small cap coin that has the potential to scale or at least a lot of buzz around it. EOS and ETH are provably not delivering on what they set out to provide.

Put it in ETH it'll never be overtaken. Has far the best dev community, toolings and frameworks.
If anyone starts to look at a blockchain solution, they're always going to pick ETH.

The thing with the "corruption" on EOS is that the whole thing is still being worked on and changing. Soon the inflation will be distributed among the people who stake and vote, thus more people around the globe will vote, chinese will lose votes, and circulation in exchanges will decrease, increasing the price per EOS. Bug hey, everybody talk bad about EOS, just follow the trend :o)

Well I am not everyone (OP here). I am just weighing both options. I had small bags of EOS which I sold for 15% gain, same with ETH but now I want to get in for long-term in either of those. Also interested in XMR tbf. Thank you for reply!

in my opinion forget these coins for now, currency coins have a much higher ROI in my opinion. XMR is a very good choice.

This is what I am trying to understand/decide. I am willing to go 50/50 eth or eos/XMR.
