ETH REACHES NEW LOW

>On 29th of September, the Ethereum Network reached a 10 month low regarding activity. Yesterday it processed 434,35 total transactions, lower than the same day on November last year and a 68% decrease from the all time high on January 4th.

Is it any wonder when metamask is a piece of shit and none of my most recent transactions have gone through?

this is a brainlet post but there's a nugget of wisdom in that, current onboarding is way beyond the abilities of an average normie
now for the real answer: dapps are starting to move to offchain solutions. a dapp running on a loom sidechain will show very few tx on etherscan yet replace hundreds/thousands of tx per day

>this is a brainlet post but there's a nugget of wisdom in that, current onboarding is way beyond the abilities of an average normie

shit software doesn't discriminate between normies and computer experts

bow to new King

wrong, my 90 IQ friend
anyone who knows the basics of ethereum knows transactions are sequential, how to use proper gas price as well as how to broadcast transactions properly
i have 10000+ transactions the vast majority of them through metamask and not a single one has remained stuck for longer than i wanted it to
a five second google search for "ethereum fix stuck transaction" (no quotes) gives as the first result a medium post handholding you through every possible step
the only "computer experts" who can't google stuff are zoomer normies with meme CS degrees

I concede that you are quite right, thank you.

wat... 100% fake news

wheres ur source user?

eth has been running at 110% capacity for past week, there's no way number of transactions dropped... otherwise gas price would be close to 0

fake fud from eos, whos paying u op?

Just sold the top. Bagholders are trying to get out like crazy.

Transactions aren't a good unit of activity, it's gas, and that's at ~100% use since December - with exception for March.

Heavier transactions are replacing lighter ones. I don't know if that's good or bad

>google
>make evil people become wealthier
>research this ‘quick fix’ until the next bug pops up having you be the beta tester researching fixer doing all the leg work for somebody else’s unpolished code

be gone, shill of Satan!

Better yet than posting the original twitter post, I'm sending you the transaction chart for ETH

etherscan.io/chart/tx

Stay poor, ETH bagholder

OP is correct
etherscan.io/chart/tx
gas price isn't directly reliant on tx numbers, if a bunch of people all use high gas price it can force higher prices
gas limit is also relevant. if people use more smart contracts transaction, it takes less of them to fill a block
currently, one of the biggest gas guzzlers is Livepeer's "multimerklemine" contract (some faggot token you have to mine), and each transaction on this contract commonly gobbles over 1 million gas. example: etherscan.io/tx/0xe2fff5740fb15ebd355c267d273b6302f9ad1928c25379ea5a0a2b05fe9dd0de
compare and contrast with normal transactions and their 21k gas. this one transaction consumes as much gas as 70 ether transfers
Livepeer is hogging 15% of the network right now, and they were up to 35% a few days ago. ethgasstation.info/gasguzzlers.php

wtf you're not supposed to be polite when i insult you reeeee
good show user, now i'll have to concede metamask is shit

If this problem is solved then it will be a massive leg up on ETH. ETH has more than 51% of its mining pools in China. It seems to me that ETH is experience the same exact problem.

But EOS solves shit ETH fails to deal with again I guess.

autistic and bluepilled
any search engine will do

>etherscan.io/chart/tx

interesting, but yeah as mentioned that just means more proper dapp transactions and less eth transfers.

each block can fit either 400 eth transactions in or roughly 80 dapp transactions.

blocks have been full all year.

idk why theres less eth transfers, maybe thats just coz we're in a bear market and crypto was a bubble

besides, there's no "bug". the "quick fix" is an issue of not knowing how to use the ethereum blockchain as intended. in a few years this will be abstracted through UX for normies, but until then your choice is to learn or to struggle

>currently, one of the biggest gas guzzlers is Livepeer's "multimerklemine" contract

>Starting July 26th, 2018, anyone can submit proofs to the Livepeer MerkleMine to generate Livepeer Token, until all 2,598,071 proofs have been submitted and the remaining 6,343,700 LPT have been distributed. There is no limit to the number of available proofs a single user can submit.
explorer.livepeer.org/token
what a pointless waste of gas

>But for those looking to build up larger stakes of LPT for participation, in order to submit 100’s or 1000’s of transactions, pointing and clicking won’t cut it - some custom scripting will be helpful. Here’re some suggested steps for how you may want to go about scripting this process:
what the fuck, these are basically spamming scripts.
now I'm convinced somebody just made this as a cover to spam ethereum

you can actually brick your meta mask if you make too many orders. i accidently did this the other day because they changed the default setting so you now longer leave enough eth to make the transaction. if you're order fails you have to edit the gas because theres no way of cancelling orders

> NEO - The Ethereum of China! HOLY SHIT BUY BUY BUY!
> Neo reaches 300 dollars per coin

> EOS - Oh no too many BPs are in China and its kind of like ETH
> Just sold the top. Bagholders are trying to get out like crazy.

Dumb asses HAHAHAHA

yeah basically just reset your metamask and make new tx...

weird how its so shit after 1 year still lol

>weird how its so shit after 1 year still lol

Because
> ETH has the largest number of talented devs in the entire crypto ecosphere.

Meanwhile scatter will probably support ETH and EOS at the same time.
