The "Oracle Problem" Has Been Solved

Ok guys, as a programmer and Link investor I've just run a node with Astraea just to prove by myself if that's really a decentralized oracle.

I got to admit that, holly shit, this oracle works really nice, I've detected (via Astraea) for example the weather last night in my city, Dublin.

It works in the same way than chainlink, but thinking that this will be probably free... I'm really considering if CL it's a good investment or not. Also, the CL code and nodes still have some bugs and big failures, so I think that October-November will be the right months to sell, maybe at 0,40 or 0,50.

>real programmers holding link

seems legit

If you can spot the Chainlink failures and Astraea successes with minimal mental investment, why the fuck are you not banging out the bones of the future internet with alarming rapidity?

You know no one can still test it right? It's literally only a whitepaper.
FUD harder faggot.

>scruffy Tallaght cunt
Careful he'll batter you with his mas gash

LInk to repo?

lmao kys OP

>Astraea
The correct terminology for someone form taillight is knacker. The scummyness and cuntyness is fully covered in the word knacker.

As with any tallaght knacker were have the issue of truth. Astraea is just a white paper and he did not test anything, this kind of lying is natural and easy from him as when even as a child he was robbing local pond shops to acquire sanitary towels for his knacker mother, even though she had pawned his xbox for heroin he could look the shopkeeper in the face and say 'I already paid'. Being a knacker from taillight takes generations or lying, cowardice, drug addiction, theft and petty criminality. Lies are their norml means of expression, in fact telling the truth can cause fatal constipation in a tallaght knacker. As he is literate he must be the elder or wise man of his particular patch of wasteland. Think of the white prajeet of Ireland but with more heroin and less manners and you have the taillight knacker.

hon the lads

talaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalght

shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamrock rooooooooooooooooooooooovers

heroin. failure. death.

H's on the red line robbing mobiles and throwing cans at auld ones again. Who told him bout biz?

if you're havin' oracle problems I feel bad for you son...I got 99 problems but Astraea ain't one...LINK me!

I work for Swift and we have been testing Astraea along with Chain Link testnet. So far we have seen that:

>Astraea is better than link at scaling, processing velocity and cheaper (2:1 rate).
> Link is better for node operators but the limited supply would make the network unusable.

So far we are going to switch to Astraea. Have a good day.

red line bread line

Astraea is white paper, a document with neither code nor a way to test it.

>as a programmer
>Tallaght cunt

The only program a tallaght knacker knows about hands out methadone.

Fucking kek

genuine question, not fud, programmer to programmer: what's the answer to sybil attacks?

>I've just run a node with Astraea
you couldn't even fight your way out of a paper bag. fuck outta here.

>what's the answer to sybil attacks?
A white ethnostate

Astraea's game theory solution is completely unimpacted by sybil due to it not requiring aggregation or consensus.

Chainlink's certification system makes sybil attacks impossible. There will also likely be thousands of nodes on the network and the selection will either be completely randomized or purposefully selected because the operator is known to the contract creator. Even if you tried to reputation farm and lets say somehow you work your ass off and have high reputation on 100 falsely-certified nodes, you will almost always have a minority, you'll be instantly penalized by losing your staked tokens, and you won't even know what contract it is you're staked on, so why would you try to sabotage it anyway? To hurt the network?

No because someone pays you to have a million dollar smart contract execute on invalid data and send a shit ton of money to someone that shouldn't have gotten it.

If someone has a million dollar contract they'd probably select 20 nodes AT A MINIMUM, probably more like 50-100. I wouldn't even know the details of the contract or who the parties were, so why would I do that? I'd also probably have to stake a decent amount of collateral so I'd lose a nice chunk of money and have my reputation severely tarnished for future jobs.

You're acting like there's only 1 intermediary who is being paid by a bad party I know and am in contact with to botch the contract. In reality I have no idea who anyone is, there are several intermediates, I may likely be using Intel SGX, I have tons of other contracts to stake on, and if I even tried to send bad data the other nodes chosen to deliver data would fuck my up the ass.

So how was the weather in Dublin last night because weatherbug told me it was 48 Fahrenheit and partly cloudy or was weatherbug lying to me ?

>as a programmer
>weather in Dublin
lmao you retard admit you are just a brainlet who cannot even put a decent piece of fud together

DESPERATION

>Dublin
>picture is Charlottesville

but if etherium dies does is link kill?

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT! ESPECIALLY COLLECTIVE POSITIVE THOUGHT!

THIS SHIT IS GOING TO REACH $1,000 EASILY!
HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND VISUALIZE IT IN YOUR MIND EVERYDAY AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE STARTING NOW AND IT WILL MANIFEST INTO REALITY. DO IT! I'M NOT JOKING!

VISUALIZE AS OFTEN AND AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE!!!!

Seems like something a dumb tattie picker would do
