>trade without stop losses, stay on cross
>never lose trades but sometimes become trapped and have to wait for weeks, risk of losing everything
>use stop losses
>bleed out, 3 lost trades in a row
What's the better strategy? Perhaps I should use wider stops? But then my losses will be greater when they do occur.
Trade without stop losses, stay on cross
why use stop loss if you are always watching?
I'm fucking stuck now too
the strat is you win some then lose some man. Just keep your win rate about 50% thats all you can do. Im in the same spot right now

personally i dont use stops and instead keep a large amount on the sidelines so i can buy myself out of bad trades

should've used a stop loss dummy.
Same. Shorted at like 6350 last week. JFMSU

I usually watch trades and dont place a stop until it is in profit. Be patient and pick better entries

I dont like to give any valuable information for free but usually if we look winning traders, of even claimed best retail traders in the world the win percentage of trade hangs around 60-80% and pay out ratio around 1:1
some people claim strategies that win maybe 30% or less can be winning due to "large win and small multiple losses" but this is total false. these kind of strategies rely on luck for it is impossible to trade with such low win rate long term. also the win rate tells a story of weakness of strategy clearly as it relies on rare big wins
Bruh same here. It’s tough not to fomo but it’s for sure going sub 6.3
I didn't see this pump coming at all. I still think we're testing the bottom of the big triangle somewhere in the 61-6200 range and at that entry point I thought for sure that was going to be it. It's nervewracking waiting this long but I'm not going to bitch out and close at a loss.
You can never be stuck. Because being stuck = losing money because you can't trade more. Cut your losses in a pump
I learned this the hard way.
At the time you don't realise your are relying on luck, trading must not be like gambling at all
in stock markets the better strategy is watching close and no stop losses. Crypto is extremely volatile, so SLs will get pulled easily.
I suggest no SL, I also suggest cashing out before BTC reaches 5K.
Trade what you're ready to lose at 5-10x depending on what you're comfortable with, no stop losses. Ended my losing streak this way. Longed 6.4K, it wicked down to sub 6.1k, rocketed back up to about 6.6k and that's when I took profit. If I had placed a stop loss like I always did, I would have eaten shit.
Well that's the same as using cross. My liquidation price is usually 2000 points away from the entry price. But there's still risk of using it all in the event of a flash crash or a golden bull run.
>watching
Yeah but do you cut your losses short?
