This thought of thing is so insane, it is actually hard for me to believe it.

>online gambling
>business and finance
?

This sort of thing*

What the fuck happened to my brain there?

One traders pain is another traders gain. Welcome to zero sum market

youtube.com/watch?v=XNJ1RHUnX9s

This is why I stopped trading on Bitmex. I was doing great for awhile there with good risk management, etc. Then, one day, I placed a limit buy order, but after looking at the chart, realized the limit was too high. I tried to lower the entry, but the system was overloading and wouldn't let me lower it or set a stop loss. About half an hour later my limit triggered and I got liquidated after that. Of course support just told me to fuck off when I emailed them.

Fuck Bitmex. A big rule of trading is never trade without risk management to prevent massive losses, like in the case of OP. But when the site you're using to trade breaks routinely and makes risk management impossible, its nothing more than ultra high risk gambling where in the long run you will lose out big. Never trading on Bitmex again.

learn to place orders properly then
everyone knows bitmex occasionally overloads...

or use Deribit instead

Yeah, that's what I switched to. Bitmex is shit. It's scamming its users massively.

Bitfinex shorts getting liquidated as soon as BitMEX trading was resumed.

BTC Dumping 5% right after the alleged DDOS attack on BitMEX servers.

Lmao at the niggers who come to an unregulated market because of the advantages but then cry about it acting like an unregulated market
fuck off
srsly

yep its 2 btc. x100 is just crazy. no its stupid. even x10 is stupid. any leverage is stupid.

Its pretty fucking obvious Bitmex is using fake server downtimes to manipulate the system to cause massive spikes when trading resumes. Why would anyone trade on a site like this? They are wildly scamming people who are caught in heavy gambling addictions.

Deribit doesn't crash, has lower fees, the API is fast as fuck, and the system doesn't randomly "overload" during pump and dumps. Why the fuck is anyone still using Bitmex?

Happy I ended up putting all my BTC in cold storage. Fuck trading, I havn't checked the price once today.

He lost exactly 0.3BTC

>Why the fuck is anyone still using Bitmex?

cause when you go black you never go back

They lost $12,861 and 24 cents worth of BTC. They were at 100x leverage

How's deribit? do they ban US as well?

sounds comfy

The absolute state of Jow Forums... If you can't do basic 4th grade math you're never gonna make it

You can't register from a USA IP but if you're in 2018 and you're not using a VPN (cryptography) to protect you're privacy you don't deserve to be trading crypto.

Even with that I'm a little scared of spot banning if I accidentally my vpn or residence checking ever starts

Bitmex is unnecessarily complicated. And make no mistake, Leverage Trading is deliberately made out to be that way to catch as many people out as possible.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT! ESPECIALLY COLLECTIVE POSITIVE THOUGHT!

THIS SHIT IS GOING TO REACH $1,000 EASILY!
HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND VISUALIZE IT IN YOUR MIND EVERYDAY AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE STARTING NOW AND IT WILL MANIFEST INTO REALITY. DO IT! I'M NOT JOKING!

VISUALIZE AS OFTEN AND AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE!

>100x leverage

Degenerate gambler

>there are still people trading margin

the exodus of people switching from limit trading to margin trading has just started. Derivative trading in general will absolutely overtake spot trading by an incredibly wide margin within a year.

>idiot

best way to make gains in a sideways market
only idiots over leverage, only idiots fail to take risk reward into account, only idiots fail to use stop losses and take profits

why play with $1000 every trade when I can just play with $100 at 10x?

Because you will always play the game of catch up when you lose and dig yourself into a deeper hole. The only way to win in crypto is DCA

I'm not a gambler so I don't have the mindset of "gotta make up for me losses!"

You do not win short term at DCA. Probabilistically, you will not come out on top of tradig in most cases. Probabilistically enough traders will come out on top to make it seem worthwhile. And DCA is not the only way to ""win"" at crypto. You can use options and futures at very reasonable margins to hedge against adverse events without any risks.

how fucking greedy are you faggot
