1). They can't track old transactions with 100% certainty unless they were 0-mixin transactions, most of which were pool payouts to miners. This has been addressed completely.
2). It's never been a blockchain's goal to mask your IP address. If you're doing shady shit on the internet and not masking your IP on your own, then you only have yourself to blame.

Why would xmr moon though? It's a utility coin...not an investment. Dirty money can be laundered via monero and then parked in btc...criminals won't park money in monero.

How exactly could they do better? Mathematically speaking? You think they have some secret math to deobfuscate Monero? Since this was addressed they now have RingCT to deal with too so they can't even really see transaction amounts without a viewkey.

Bitcoin's situation was completely different.

It's similar enough. If it was much different we wouldn't see Monero at its current price level. It's being speculated on as a store of value just like Bitcoin has been since its early on in its existence.

No, it really doesn't. zk-snarks are more advanced than ring signatures and RingCT but it doesn't really matter since Zcash has a small anonymity set due to nobody really using ztransactions. Add to this the fact that zooko has gone on the record stating that they can make it so transactions can't be "too private." What the fuck did he mean by this? Also, trusted setup, faggy dev mining tax, corporate foundation, an unknown amount of Monero, etc.

Seriously if you want to advocate for zk-snarks there has to be a better one out there than Zcash to choose from.

ztranasctions will be much more popular with sappling as we should get mobile clients.

Now that shapeshift is gone, Monero is pretty much useless.

More popular perhaps but optional privacy will always be inferior to default privacy due to concerns over temporal analysis. Until Zcash makes good on the sapling promises and makes ztransactions mandatory then I'll always see it as inferior to Monero.
