Chainlink is getting close. You can see it. You can smell it. You can taste it

>marketing will coincide with mainnet
>information on aggregation will be required for mainnet and will be posted on github when it's available
I wonder what they meant by all of this

Nice find love

de nada sweet heart

; )

I can't. Many months ago i could, i could visualize myself getting rich from it.
But now i can't help but feel that my money was just used for Sergey's big mac addiction.

1000 suicides (including me) EOY

who else got a presidential alert today? ;)

it's almost here! Can you feel it!?

I'm actually more qualified to talk about this than most anons.I'm employed with a cyber-techno machinations company, I do a lot of security analyst programming type work. Open source, decentralized, APIs, partnerships, you name it. We'd be one of the first companies in line for something like Chainlink, if the decentralized smart contract space had more value over traditional data exchanges. There's a catch though, an underlying flaw more deeply embedded in the bedrock of LINK than the very code itself. The flaw is with the concept, and it's this: Companies won't actually go through the hassle of trusting their data API's through crypto. Now I can already hear your keyboards going frantic, but hear me out. Jow Forums hates banks, and traditional data providers. But actual companies, businesses, and investors do not. There's an old saying you might have heard of: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!". The idea that any of our bosses would give us the go ahead if we approached them to put our companies valuable data in a smart contract on a cryptocurrency called Chainlink, that they've never heard of, we'd be laughed out at best and fired on the spot at worst. We already have API data buyers and providers we trust. 'But Chainlink is trustless!' I hear you cry, but is that really a good thing? Just listen to the sound of it. Businesses don't want to spend millions of dollars on something that is trustLESS, they want something trustFUL. 'But the reputation system!', doesn't that defeat the whole point of your coin? If companies only trust nodes with high reputation, what's the difference between trusting banks and data providers that already have high reputation, but in real life not on a computer screen. The fact is, LINK is going to share the same fate as ETH will. A lot of 'real world application' hype, with a lot of 'crypto world application' reality. Only, this billion supply coin isn't going to come close to the $1k that Eth hit. Happy gambling though anons.

I'm all in link right now and getting nervous

nice find boo

I have 65k chainlink but almost no fiat anymore. I can still max out my credit card for 7000, hope i make it in the next couple of months to at least 5$ so i can just sit back and watch it go up without starving

Sitting on 250k Link waiting for eruption. Days at work just drag. I’m fully prepared to wait another 1, 2, maybe 3 years because I know this whole 1k EOY meme isn’t realistic, but damn would it be sweet if it was actually right around the corner

Why do you anons think mainnet release will cause the price to increase? If anything, it might dump.

Because we can start accepting jobs
There will be jobs
And neetdom will provide them
All our linkies will be locked away
But you need link to pay for our neet information
That order book on the sell side of binance is awfully thin wouldn't you say user

>Chainlink is getting close. You can see it. You can smell it. You can taste it.
>You can smell it

I can definitely smell it, and it's very stinky.

If mainnet launches and price dumps, stakers win. It will inevitably go up, so good time to hoard staking reward linkies

Who else read the new terms and conditions...chain.link real as fuck

Is there any drawback to staking link tokens? It seems like it's free passive income

You provide bad data you lose your linky collateral

Which makes linkpoolio attractive

>You provide bad data you lose your linky collateral
Hmm...how would this happen though?

I can't wait for pool competition
Linkpool got the first mover advantage by a mile
But eventually other entities are going to want a piece of that pie

Got any sauce for this delicious pasta, user?

my linky stays super stinky $1000 EOY

Biz, ca. June

GOD DAMN ITS MOTHERFUCKING STINKY UP IN THIS GOD DAMN PLACE PHEEEWWWWW

Bro. I’m all in chainlink and eating ramen noodles until the singularity. All my fiat is in link. I hope we make it.

Kek

I hear this shit since 1 year, fml u will get left behind AGAIN in the next bull

He collected the apis for the leaves of trees and plants into his ledger and he stalked wheezing the feeds for mountain butterflies with his gunt outheld in both hands, speaking to them in a low whisper, no curious study himself. Vitalik sat watching him as he made his adapters in the github, holding the keyboard towards the screen for the light, and he asked him what was his purpose in all this.

The Sergey’s keyboard ceased its clacking. He looked at Vitalik. Then he continued to type again.

Vitalik spat into the urinal.

The Sergey wrote on and then he clicked the docker shut and minimized his browser and pressed his hands together and passed them down over his nose and mouth and placed them palm down on his belly.

Whatever exists, he said. Whatever in creation exists outside of the blockchain exists without my consent.

He looked about at the dark McDonald's toilet stall in which they were bivouacked. He nodded toward the adapters he’d collected. These api callers, he said, may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest error can ruin a smartcontracts. Any smallest thing beyond yon feed out of men’s knowing. Only wagecuckery can enslave the NEETs and only when the datafeed of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before them will they be properly suzerain of the decentralized oracle market.

What’s a decentralized oracle?

A json parser. A json parser running on the chainlink nodes.

Why not say json parser?

Because it is a special kind of json parser. A decentralized oracle rules even where there are other oracles. His consensus mechanism countermands incorrect inputs and tampering.

Vitalik spat.

The Sergey placed his hands on his big mac. He looked at his inquisitor. This is my meal, he said. And yet everywhere upon it are pockets of off-chain life. Off-chain. In order for it to be completely mine nothing must be permitted to occur upon it which could not be used to trigger an event in a trustless system.

Vitalik sat with his boots crossed before the urinal. No man can capture every possible input in a blockchain agnostic decentralized oracle network, he said.

The Sergey tilted his great head. The Nolinker who believes that the feeds of this world are to forever remain in segregated within on-chain and off-chain enclaves or within centralized oracles lives in mystery and fear. A central point of failure will drag him down. Fallible data or bad actors will erode the deeds of his automated processes. But that man who sets himself the task of singling out every single input for the smart contracts will by the decision alone have taken charge of the world and it is only by such taking charge that he will effect a way to dictate the terms of the singularity.

I don’t see what that has to do with collecting apis for birds.

The freedom of birds is an insult to me. I’d have them all integrated into a smartcontract.

That would be a hell of a smartcontract.

The Sergey smiled. Yes, he said. Even so.

spotted the fudding pajeet

If you have to ask this, you need to learn to fucking read.

How long are you bag holding?

Based and blackpilled

did you read what you typed?

nice specifications for a json parser

Same here bro, good luck.

this... this breaks the heart... even after all the sick shit i've seen on this here internet, breaks the heart it does

It’s because you’re a good boy user

Is this a new meme or is it newfags doing this ??

It's a newfag thing.
