There are actually people who put all their savings into BTC at 19k

>there are actually people who put all their savings into BTC at 19k
I wonder how many lives, families and retirements got ruined because of this

not as bad cause i doubt anyone put their retirement funds into crypto since everyone knew it as a fad. on the other hand a shit ton of people are going to lose their retirement funds next year in the stock market

>how many
pretty sure people died over this. at least 1 i know for sure in korea who got bitmexd and ended it.

I sell all my 6 guitars for eth in 1050, now i have 0 guitars and 8.3 eth, 1800$. Weeeeeeeee i am so happy weeeeeeee

Oh boy

>all those shitty silk road drug dealers are millionaires now

>People have killed themselves because they didn't zoom out.

same amount that invested in dumb rocks like silver at $50

Attached: silverhistory.jpg (800x472, 42K)

probably not as hard as wageslaving away and knowing there are hundreds or even thousands of BTC out there in a wallet.dat you lost

i can imagine as a drugdealer you need constant cash flow. they liquidated everything instantly to buy more product to sell

I remember laughing at those faggots in 2013 who bought the top and decided to hold. I thought bitcoin was finished forever and that was the end of it. The same shit will happen again. Those guys aren't feeling too good now, but they'll win in the end, yet again, and hopefully they'll sell the top next time and rebuy the next dip.

People who put their savings into this can't wait 30 years though

keep looking, I'm sure you'll find it :^)

i dont even remember how much btc i had in my wallet that i lost when my computer went bust

i bought some at $15k

>there are actually people who put all their savings into BTC at 1k
I wonder how many lives, families and retirements got saved because of this

and how many people are now millionaires thanks to bitcoin? it all balances out. bitcoin has created massive wealth.

people who invested into bitcoin can wait 30 years? retirement is 60 and anyone investing in bitcoin is probably young. you didnt expect to get rich quick, did you?

peer to peer much?

people lose money and kill themselves everyday, who fucking cares? why is BTC such a special variable in suicide?

just imagine how nice they'll feel when everyone's 401k is decimated by the kike casino, the dollar's inflation rate goes into overdrive, and all of their money is in the safest, most kike-free monetary instrument there is. bitcoin was literally designed for recessions and anti-fed shenanigans.

just wait. the dollar never got impacted by all of the QE bullshit they pulled last recession, it's literally a nobel economics prize-level question as to why it wasn't impacted like it should have been. we've been kicking the can down the road.

bitcoin is unironically the safest place you can have your money in the next 4 years.

i bought eternal token at 10 cents.

is the name of the token some antisemitic reference?

>why is BTC such a special variable in suicide?
because it was probably the most extreme investment ever both in its potential for ROI AND losses.
investing just a few dollars could turn anyone into a hundredfold-millionaire over the course of just a decade - and on the loss side of things: all those millions or even billions could be lost by a defective HDD, losing a piece of paper or even theft.
name one other investment that is that extreme even on a single side of things (gains or losses).

Hey Peter hows it hanging

i dont know but that was a rough 800% in like three days?

it's too fucking volatile, even if things go to shit

it's too volatile right now because it's on the way up the first half of its S-curve. it will level off, and all of the people that tolerated the volatility and saw the bigger trend will be high and dry by then.

user, there was a guy who took out an over 200k loan to invest...

>there are people who smoke a gram a day of weed who bought $6,000/g weed off silk road and didn't make money from bitcoin because they were only involved when it was $30 and used it to buy weed

This doesn't take USD inflation into account

None if they just HODL'd. Am i rite boys?

I wonder if there were any good meltdowns on 420chan

>it's literally a nobel economics prize-level question as to why it wasn't impacted like it should have been
is it actually? where's the submission form, I will tell them

Dunno mate I bought before the bullrun last year, hodled, now I'm actually below my initial despite decent gains in December.
People keep saying to not time the market but you need to time the market if you want to make anything and keep it.

>it's literally a nobel economics prize-level question as to why it wasn't impacted like it should have been.

We export our inflation to other countries thanks to the petro dollar and threat of military action

Buttcoin is a zero-sum game.
In order for someone to become a millionaire, a millionaire must lost his fortune. In most cases though, a bunch of middle-class people lost their savings.

if you haven't sold, you haven't lost

it's not a zero sum game at all

And now the money supply is going to be tightened, and rates increased.
You're right unfortunately.
I'm a grown man and even I'm trying to talk to my parents about it.
They don't want to hear it, heads in the sand.
They're retired and comfy, everything is fine....

you're going to need to put that in the form of peer-reviewed PhD-level papers with supporting econometric analyses, gentlemen. gl.

The winklevoss twins bought in at like $800 then btc crashed to like $190

Now they are billionaires

People who got into Bitcoin in early 2017 are still way up. Even I am still up from May 2017, Bitcoin just had hit 2k.... And I was like "wtf last time I checked Bitcoin was at 250 wtf happened I could have been rich".

Yup

I wish that I gave a fuck about money back then, but I just lived carried along by the current and didn't give a fuck where it would take me

Should've gone with alts

U r retarded! You do t even u derstand markets..kys... Options r zero sum game..not regular markets dumb fuck

>bitcoin is unironically the safest place you can have your money in the next 4 years.

People said the same in december.
Yet, here we are.

Attached: sophisticated cat5.jpg (476x635, 220K)

>but you havent lost money if you are still holding your bitcoin

What the fuck where you thinking

user, i....

Everything people said in the months of December-January should be thrown out though
When your asset doubles its value in under a month and then keeps going, you'd be an idiot not to acknowledge you're in a bubble
