Can someone explain why bond yields are all over the place between countries? Canada bonds have a yield of 2.6%, US ones have 3.23%, Brazil has 11.39%.
The shittier the country, the higher the yields Higher yields reward investors for giving their money to a country that might become a failed state. I.e turkey, Ukraine Argentina
