Van Dwelling

Is van dwelling redpilled? I'm thinking about buying a van and living in it while traveling the US. Pic related: dude travels the US banging his hot sister.

You just bring your problems with you.

What if my problems are largely limited to living at home?

now that's def red pilled

Only redpilled if you live a minimalist lifestyle. The van in your pic looks like a mess.

I'd probably buy a base Sprinter & put a full size matress in it that I could fold up to the wall. Then I wouldn't lose any floorspace. Other than that I'd keep clothes, personal care products, and imperishable foods in it (like rice, peanut butter, etc..).

I would shower at the gym and buy fresh fruit/vegetables every day. Maybe keep an icebox for meats.

Would probably only take up 10-15% of the floorspace with the matress folded up. I could even use the van to do delieveries.

aren't those expensive as fuck?

Not really. You can buy a 2-3 year old Sprinter for $20K. New ones start at $34K MSRP. Of course this would only make sense in cities where rent is very expensive.

San Franciso, DC, NYC, etc.. Saving thousands on rent/utilities every month adds up quick. A used Sprinter for ~$20K can be your daily driver. Decent gas milage too.

interesting, I had no idea. Still, a conversion would surely cost at least that much.

Theres literally nothing to convert. All you need is a matress and a roof over your head.
