Link already has an mcap of over 100M though, at best we can hope for a mcap of 10B if all goes well and that's very optimistic. We would get to about 30$ per token, you'd need over 33k LINK to get 1M from that, not an amazing investment it seems. I feel like betting on a lower mcap coin has a much higher chance of yielding a good ROI, am I missing something?

Ethereum as an example might have a lower supply, but it has barely scraped the surface of what it can do (mostly shitcoin icos atm) and look at how it has been valued. I unironically believe link will trigger the next bull while simulataneously purging unworthy shitcoins by allowing decent projects to realize their full potential.

You don’t understand the project. The circulating supply will be much lower than it is today. The modeling I’ve done has given me a circulating supply of 200m after staking, so a $10b market cap would be $50 per token.

SWIFT works with 11,000 banks...imagine each bank wanting a piece of the decentralized oracle network where trust-less data become valuable.

this is the reason why LINK has been long undervalued...accumulation. the big whales and market makers hasn't finished accumulating. they have one shot at pumping LINK and they are figuring how high can LINK pump but since this is a new tech, there is no benchmark so they are being careful to see how high it can go.

Also the circulating supply will decrease over time as more and more tokens are locked up. Buyers who want to stake will outnumber speculators, so tokens will exit the market quicker than they come in. This is the mechanic of the singularity.

That's a good point, but even with 200circ supply, I don't see LINK reaching the ridiculous 1000$ amount (that would be a 200B mcap!)

It’s not ridiculous. If you take crypto’s annual growth rate and extrapolate it out you get total market cap predictions of $3T and then $19T within 3-5 years. Crypto is on an adoption s-curve.
