I called the CEO of the company or the manager and said "Hey you looking for a capable guy for some jobs?". 50% of the time they either say we dont have or dont want, but 50% of the time they say "Wow okay, well we have this job available, interested?". "Sure i am, ill come down there right now or when do you have time to interview me?". "Yeah sure you can come right now OR they will say lets meet in 2 days at 14:00?". Deal.

Yeah i get it, but as being a manager before it showed me quite clearly how jobs are being decided. You wont believe the shit i saw from the HR or other managers they did with interviewees.
Literal examples which are so unethical (im actually quite an ethical guy).

Its just insane for what reasons people are not even given a chance. My approach was completely different and humane. When i intervewed the person i always asked "Do you want to work here or do you need to work here". 90% of the time ofc they say want, but if they said the need to work here to pay costs etc. sometimes i even hired them. I always gave a 1month chance for anyone coming to the job.
Literally i dislike HR reps because they hire with subjective decision. Do you really want to be interviewed by a person who decides by your looks or the way you talk? Its fucking bullshit. Thats why i only go to the manager or CEO and always skip the HR questions like "Who do you see yourself in 5 years?". "What are your hobbies?". I always want to bash in the head of the HR asking these stupid ass questions. Im here to do the job and bring profit to the company. You will get hired straight-up after saying this to the CEO.

The chances are usually lower. It really depends on how you approach the subject. My recent gig was 2 jobs i though were interesting. I was working in another place but i hated it.
I took 2 numbers. I called number 1 and said do you have any jobs. They said yes. The next day i went there and did the interview. Said my salary and they didnt answer to me. I said well fuck it then. The 2nd phone number called and we already started talking about salary straight-up. We agreed to terms and then they sent me the contract. I overviewed and went to the place and started working.
In my mind, its rather that if you really want a job, just go get it. Its that simple. Think of the process i would have been doing. Go to online CV portal. Create a CV (i have it anyways, always have a CV ready), find jobs, apply. Then wait 30 days until it closes. Wait for answers. Its too fucking long. As you said you cant wait. Just call em up and ask for a job. You will sound confident and they will view you as "Wow this dude CALLS US for jobs? And then we have these applicants from CV portals? Why not give him a try. Im feeling risky today.".
