Quick survey anons. Does Jow Forums prefer to know exactly the amount of food they are getting at any given restaurant or do they mind if the chef throws in a "little more" than they paid for?
Quick survey anons...
Exact. Don't anyone to make my environment more unpredictable than it needs to be. Too many variables already.
Why would you go to a restaurant in the first place, then?
fggt
To order the food that I want to eat, what kind of question is that?
He’s autistic. Autistic people don’t like change even if it benefits them. i.e more food than usual.
I don't mind if it's a bit more or less. I'd get annoyed if it's far less than expected though, unless it's a fancy taste-experience kind of thing.
>More food
>benefits them
fatass detected
If a restaurant tries to make the experience better by giving out more food that was expected, one has to assume they compensate for quality of the food.
Please put thought into preparing my food, instead of marketing gimmicks.
If it's not exact I send it back
I had no idea there were people in the world actually concerned about such a non-consequential topic.
are you kidding? if restaurants are sloppy like this it permeates into society everywhere. have you seen The Butterfly Effect kiddo?
High-end restaurants have to be cognizant of such minutiae. That's what makes them high-end
>one has to assume
no user, one does not
Another autist. He meant you get more for less, not you stuff yourself. Like having 50 grs of something once will grow you another chin.
>cognizant
>minutiae
you're trying to hard cuck boy
>t. Turbo XL “bigger is better” NPC
I’m trying to be less fat goddamit and when the chef sees my piggly features and loads up my plate, I get TRIGGERED and have to eat all of the fucking food and then order more!!
>minutiae
*tips fedora*
you DO know that you can take leftovers home, right?
Back to r9k plebs. The words fit the context of the discussion.
Exact.
A little anecdote: I usually go out to eat on Saturdays and Wednesdays and i always get the same thing at the same restaurant. It sounds autistic but i genuinely enjoy it every time but i noticed that sometimes they give me more meat. Why? I ordered 300g. That's what i want. Not more, not less.
That said, most people don't notice that sort of thing.
No, but I do prefer to open up the box and see a decent sized meal.
Are we talking about slightly larger portions...or the waiter bringing an appetizer or small plate to the table compliments of the chef? I don't understand anyone who'd be offended by the latter. Sometimes the chef just wants to try out a special.
No I like a "scoop of ____" and a "handful of _____" over the exact amount. Fucking subway workers trying to count my olives and shit. If it's not enough I'll ask directly for more and usually they'll give it to you.
