For as much as I want to believe, they sold both Craftsman and Kenmore. It's dead, and it's not coming back. Even if Lampert had some sort of hairbrained scheme to cut the business down to 5-10 stores and pay the debt using his property holdings, Sears would be missing the two brands that defines them. Since it is highly unlikely Lampert is using Sears as anything other than a debt sink so his holdings company can massively profit, it's not coming back.

It'd be worth it as a $500 gamble though, but at that point it is literally gambling just like most other penny stocks. At this point, will Sears even make it through Black Friday let alone Christmas?
