The NPC meme hit the mainstream because it's a very mainstream and observable problem. Even NPCs themselves are capable of admitting that a large mass of humanity are sleepwalking through life, whether it be because of drug sedation, low IQs, or successful brainwashing.

Can you find the thread where a guy admitted he created Fresco. In that thread I swear he said he was not done and then we saw the NPC thread show up almost right after.

Probably was bizonacci, that Fresco "meme" reeked of forced and his youtube videos have the same feel to them. Well made to be sure, but a little too on the nose and forced.

I feel pretty confident that the Fresco meme was created by the same person or entity as the npc meme.
