Centricity recently collaborated on a Global Seafood Traceability Demonstration with Request Network, a decentralized network for payment requests, and Logic20/20, an analytics and digital transformation company. The proof of concept was presented in Hong Kong earlier this year at a meeting among industry leaders. It showcased the power of automatically synchronizing transaction data at each step along the supply chain to enable real-time payment settlement and immutable provenance records. Certain data was stored off the chain and available only to authorized parties, but all data was digitally signed and notarized on the chain for buyers to validate payments were made to the producers, documents were genuine, location data was authentic and values were upheld.
Request, Bullish as fk
That pic is pretty cringy dude kys
Sauce?
b-but muh mozzarella
well shit, I guess Req ain't to bad. Link and Req are going to be major in a few years
What in the fuck does link have to do with this thread? Take a walk.
REQ needs an oracle and LINK could be it
It's not mentioned but the real-world data applied to blockchain sounds like link. Doesn't mean it'll happen though
WHERE'S THE FUCKING REQ WHALE THAT LOVES TO DUMP?
WHY IS HE LETTING THE PRICE GO UP?
Newfag retard
Cause he's a larp you cheesehead
How funny would it be if the dairy industry adopted this
Would be amazing and we'd surpass the moon in a day
>The proof of concept was presented in Hong Kong earlier this year
kek
was this before or after wikipedia called them out for being lazy?
ohhh no no no, not going to get REQT this time around, OP.... the 95% loss of value was more than a good enough lesson
I'll post again my niggers....
150K and comfy as fuck.
Wikimedia France will regret their decision to collaborate with REQ. I guarantee it.
If you bought in awhile ago youd already have double your money
I still feel like throwing up. I sold at 3 cts 250k REQ because this board told me REQ is a just a fucking button.
kys this shit is vaporware garbage. ask any software dev
completely useless TRASH
>listening to this board
Even a larper wouldnt fall for that
I LOOOVEEEE REQCONNEEECCCCCTTTT
yes yes i am best engineer in sweden and i confirm now that request network is bad techology.
THIS!!!!!!!
Will I make it with 71k?
poor user :(
It was cringy the day it was made, you fucking faggot.
>the 95% loss of value was more than a good enough lesson
/nubiz/ is absolutely incompetent... and that's a good thing.
if they already have the confidence to shill their product to cz_binance, the project is well above 'vaporware'
mozzarella prophecy fulfilled, noice
95k here, comfy as heck and cant wait to become a boomer with a nice lawn and white picket fence.
REQ requires a decentralized Oracle to add 3rd party data. REQ has said their number one oracle choice is LINK.
This is why holding REQ over LINK is fucking retarded. LINK's mainnet has to come before REQ can add fiat and crypto conversion.
Side note: This is why this entire board memes LINK so hard. All these smartcontract projects require a decentralized Oracle to add 3rd party data. If LINK doesn't work out none of these crypto projects will work out.
Yes sir you telling true
I am programmer and req is bad, very very bad. Worst thing is that it use milk from holy cow to make blasphemous cheese
>before REQ can add fiat
They're gonna monetize Q1 2019, does that imply that link will mainnet before?
I’m pretty sure that the team has even more of these juicy secrets
but what if the oracle of the oracle is centralized ? this is why LINK is shit
Bump
I'm wet
proper kek
>1 post by this retard
Is REQ needed?
How else would the ecosystem function with so many different coins involved?
And with that are there any direct competitors to REQ atm?
thread still up?
wow
request will eventually require an oracle for fiat and possibly btc, kyber/0x for erc20 conversion, and another service for data encryption
all of this is not going to be free
>paying $2 in fees to send $1
good business model
it is a "proof of concept"... they are not going to use it once they see the eth gas fees alone
plus it was earlier in the year, a lot has changed
as an ethdev I am amazed request even exists when I can code something better/cheaper in a week
the truth is when WE need payments WE will develop it, we are not concerned with solving problems that do not exist yet
You should do it then. I’ll give you 10 BTC if you can make something better in a week. Go ahead bro, do it.
I guess you just didn’t code something better yet, because you didn’t want to, right? Fuck off loser.
twitter.com
AdmREQ is our saviour!
This crypto is a fucking scam, no momentum and no serious developments in term of impactful real-world adoption/progress.
lmao go look at there latest 2 week update
github is dead
use cases non existent
muhh donation button
muhhh future speculation
i actually feel sorry for anyone holding this shit token
Imagine being in a thread for 11 hours telling people not to invest in a project you must be SEETHING
if only you knew... kek
whatever. i just keep just checking on REQ to see if class actions are filed yet.
I'm holding 210k bought at 3 and 4 cents yeah I'm doing sooo bad. Can't wait to see what these guys run whenever the next bull run happens
they don't care about price action unironically lmao why do you think they are turtle speed devs
next bullrun you will be lucky to see a 70 cent high. screenshot this. the fundamentals were insanely strong but the team failed to follow through and no one will wait around 3 years for a finished product. competitors already rushing past them.
just to remind everyone: there vesting period is almost up with a team of less than 15 they all cleared hundreds of thousands to a quick $1M each. they aren't worried about you guys, or the product. lambos in singapore
>muhh decentralization
>use cases non existent
Yeah, I’m sure PwC partners with projects without use cases.
I don't see a need for smart contracts in the first place plus request isn't even using ipfs in a useful way. It's overall just too expensive to use to be of any benefit.
I'd just dump payments straight into the sellers address and store the data in a database.
I was at ethsanfrancisco and someone created the same thing with kyber that allows for payments with automatic token conversion to eth or dia.
devpost.com
He didn't need $30m for that lol
There isn't a need for it (yet)
You do realize REQ is a protocol that can be integrated to any Dapp/App or Company.
Is way more than just payments.
You’re trying to reason with literal brainlets, hold this L user.
People have to dig to see updates. Hope the team gets interested in marketing soon.
