Canada just legalized weed nationwide, on the back of lots of US states doing the same. The BBC are shilling the weed meme and so is Snapchat and much of the western media in general. I feel it's only a matter of time before it gets legalized in the UK. What's the best way to capitalize on the inevitable weed boom?

All the UK broker's I've tried so far want a phone conversation and my earnings information, and im an anxious NEET. If you can recommend a decent broker without all the boomer signup bullshit then I would like to get into stocks

I don't believe for a second UK will legalise anything. Perhaps decriminalise if we are really lucky.

It might take time but some signs point to it. I didn't know this until recently but the UK is actually the world’s biggest producer of legal cannabis for medical and scientific research, and the biggest marijuana exporter. If they wanted to make a few billion extra a year in taxes they'd be well positioned to.

I personally dont smoke it but its so easy to get and smoking it in public without any issues unless you do it right in front of a cop only a matter of time its a win win for the gov.

I desperately hope they don’t legalise in the UK, and I actually smoke weed. I visited New York last month and the whole fucking city reeks of weed. It’s a constant distraction.

Weed will be legalised in the UK, but it would only be for medicinal use and prescribed by doctors. It will happen in 2020.

Dude weed stock investor here. I'll give my quick rundown on the marijuana stock situation and my assumption for where it is headed.

>Marijuana still illegal on the federal level in the USA. Only stocks available on NYSE are companies based out of Canada.
>Cali market alone is bigger than the entire country of Canada. America is where all major growth will be.
>Aurora Cannabis, Canopy Growth and Tilray are the three big players right now.
>Aurora has the largest production capacity, also makes money from marijuana industry investment segment of business.
>Canna Royalty is based out of Canada but has the largest distribution rights for weed in California. It is looking to move into other states as they legalise.

My take away is that Aurora would be the guy to go with for now. It is up listing to the NYSE next week, is in talks with Coca Cola for a drink deal and has a multi platform revenue approach. It also is the only one to post a profit so far and that was before recreational went legal in Canada. Canna Royalty is also overlooked.

The ONLY person of political weight to ever offer the idea of legalising and taxing weed in the UK, apart from the faggy Green party, was ARE NIGER, who once again has demonstrated himself as being the only reasonable person in politics.

Times are changing, demographics and ideals are changing. The population is in favour, all it requires is media support. That'll come when they can profit immensely, which is post Brexit.

Do you really think that marijuana stocks hit their peak price within the first year? What you don't get is that they are building up a massive production capacity so they can sell to the USA. It is also why they are listing on the NYSE (Aurora) while others are listing on other USA exchanges. Aurora also has a specialised break off company based on investing in the overall weed market. I'm playing he long game on these stocks. This is the first year a G7 country has had legal recreational marijuana. Once he others jump on board the stocks will keep rising. I'm hoping to cash out in 20 to 30 years.

No, but you said it yourself. This is long term 20 - 30 years. Prices were half this during summer, once the initial hype had died down from the news. The same will happen again, Ill buy in then.
