Just finished the wallet update fuck me I've never maxed out my ram like that before. I just hope I can update the blocks because the daemon apparently couldn't connect due to firewall issues I'll have to sort that out when I get home.

Probably, fuck paying 50 cents to send anything less than 100 bucks. That's what's been holding back xmr is the fee cost and the gui wallet being so glitchy and resource intensive but this fork corrected a lot of crap

It's funny because credit cards and PayPal fees are far worse than that. And dealing with cash is a bitch. And international bank transfers can have horrific fees. But yeah it's another thing that Monero has going for it now, less than 1 cent fees on low priority.
