Why are so many people involved with crypto autistic faggots with no life? The average crypto enthusiast looks like this.

still better than the average 4chin poster.

because anyone "involved" in crypto other than devs is breaking the first rule of crypto, which is to never talk about crypto

I went to a magic the gathering tournament with a friend and a blockchain conference for work.
It was the same type of people.

Because crypto is for losers.

Crypto is for those that society labels losers. They are the technical competent futurists that have been driven out of mainstream society for fringe views.
These are the same types that will autistically work on a project for 6 months which leads to innovation.

here on the island of unwanted toys

when i was younger i laughed at people like the one in your pic..
Now i am not laughing anymore, i have a strange kind of envy, these "losers" are passionate about something, they get joy from their passion.

>technical competent futurists

Uhh I was with you up until the innovation part and technical competent.

Most of these are losers who have no higher education (degree) or any valuable skill set who either got lucky in the bull run and now sit around on discord all day sniffing their dicks or some pajeets from the bitmex trollbox hoping to leave their shit hole of a life by shorting the top or longing the bottom.

This. I mean. Look at satoshi, who didn't laugh at his idea at the very beginning? Back then, even the technically competent back considered bitcoin chuck e cheese tokens, but they still held on to their belief and hoped. Look at it now, in just 10 years.

Because its on the computer, and the only way to learn about it is to visit forums and buy it by going on wierd websites plus its all math

Therefore people with low social skills, lots of time on pc, and a higher iq than average is needed

This is why it is mostly low social status whites and normal asians. As it goes to normie sphere you will get boomers to invest who have no understanding of it, and as it becomes talked about on main stream shows and fashionable you will get women.

Blacks have already jumped in because its about money. But completely divorced from the tech - to them its a coolness factor to peacock and show social status

There are a few highly social whites like cedric dahl but he uses his nerd friends

the only people that you know are involved in crypto you know about because they made it public, meaning theyre either enthusiast nerds, or autistic, because they should really know better.

early adopter investors are about the only normal people to come out and talk about it publicly, which are themselves a small group anywya

Either one of these can be true and it's up to the neckbeard crypto enthusiasts to choose which one will be. This is a challenge posited to every nerd and neckbeard in the field.
I'm betting that we haven't seen anything yet.

Yes, now they are laughing at 'shitcoin' devs. You think the masses would learn to not ridicule the innovators.

I wish I was that cool...

we live in a society

Steampunk and its proponents need to die.

>They are the technical competent futurists

Thats the funny thing about it because it is completly wrong. The year is 2018 and literally every GUI and the UX/UI of everything is literally so intuitive and easy to use. The guys who bought into crypto last year for example. All the fuck you had to do was wire money to your coinbase account and you could immidiately buy your own BTC. Coinbase website/app design is literally so normie friendy its crazy - literally any Instagram Roastie were able to start an account there. Its literally the same like registering on snapchat or instagram. You just need to put in your email adress and a passwort. A procedure that billions of people do every day that are anything that tech savy. It is just became the norm for the 90% of residents of the western societies to acomplish basic tasks like: set up your email, use facebook, instagram, paypal etc..

Tech savyness became the normality for everyone. I see youtube thots cutting their own haul videos, making their own thumbnails accomplish to get commision deals with brands etc. They are bascially the modern aquivalent of a salesmen without knowing it themselves.

Another point: all this coding for girls initiaves from Karlie Kloss or other celebrities for example. In her example: she is a literal supermodel. Exact the opposite clientel as the typical shut in weebs everyone has in its mind.

A big reason that contributed to the whole crash last year in my opinion. Was all the "investors" literally bringing nothing to the table.
The barriers to get into crypto where so fucking easy. All you had to do was to have: a bank account, a internet connection, electricity and basic knowledge of maintain an online website account. THAT WAS IT. Literally billions of people are able to do so.

feels good to not have fallen for the bitmeme

Even tough my view could be impaired because I didnt get this observation from a person direct. This is just the general consensus I picked up.

I personally hate myself for not fucking getting into BTC early. I spend hours watching youtube videos from 2010-2013 bitcoin related. Anything: mining, how to set up a wallet, the mt gox userface ect.. Even tough Its true it was probably not that easy to get into BTC like today it was still pretty easy. Yes get your gaming GPU was probably connected with some hiccups until you got it going but nothing to be a full blown geek for - there were a lot of instructions found online in forums for example. And also technially the barriers were not really much higher when it comes to buy btc at gox like it is for coinbase today. You just set up a account also wired your money to the gox bank account and then you had your btc credited to your account. From there it was also easy to get them off the exchange. The bitcoin wallet and its blockchain was pretty small at the time and sync was a thing of a couple seconds. And also the installtion of the wallet itself was not much harder than installing any programm if you ask me: like a anti virus or microsoft office for example. after that you literally already had your wallet adress already generated and then you had to do copy and post to get your BTC from gox - nothing more.

Not once you had to do any coding or doing any typing of commands into some terminal or somthing similar - very low technical barrier

You overrate the abilities of everyday people.

At work, people have a hard enough time attaching things to emails.

They don't have the time or brain power to fully grasp what a private key is, or some of the important security considerations like 2FA.

There's reasonably smart people at work who simply don't understand Bitcoin. They don't understand the disinflationary nature, etc.

Steam punk is cool if you're into it for the mechanical aspect of it and not just the aesthetic.

The meek shall inherit the earth

so, which one are you? you're english is too good to be a pajeet....

That guy looks pretty cool.
