Sup niggas. I’m been working at a small business in Texas for about 4 years and I basically run the place. Owner goes out of town for weeks and the business doesn’t skip a beat. I want to open my own similar business in the Bay Area because 50% of our clients come from there because there isn’t anybody who does what we do over there.
What the fuck do I need to do to open up my own place there? I need about 200k.

Ok, what kind of business are we talking about here? You will need to obtain part of that 200k, whether it be through a loan, or a side hussle. After that I would suggest you draw up a clear business plan, taking into consideration long term projection and annual revenue. Once you have all this together you can take it to potential investors for the rest of the 200k. Be prepared for them to ask for a silly percentage of the business, lel. Think of yourself as a salesman.

You should probably get advice from someone who actually knows what they’re doing. California still has the biggest market so it’s a fine choice but just recognize that it’s much more expensive to run a business there
It’s a manufacturing job. And I can’t betray my current employer. I’m gonna need them. To keep it simple, I plan on using my current employer to build the things I need for cheap and ship them to me. I’ll install them and sell them in california

this. study the local regulatory environment of your target area. Find a business that does what you want to do and see what regulations they have to deal with.
