Sup niggas. I’m been working at a small business in Texas for about 4 years and I basically run the place. Owner goes out of town for weeks and the business doesn’t skip a beat. I want to open my own similar business in the Bay Area because 50% of our clients come from there because there isn’t anybody who does what we do over there.
What the fuck do I need to do to open up my own place there? I need about 200k.
>there isn’t anybody who does what we do over there. they do it in texas not cali because commiefornia taxes and regulations make it impossible. that is why texas economy is booming and san francisco is turning into a homeless people wasteland
Mason Cook
First off, acquire $600K. And since you won't have health insurance, make sure you have access to PrEP and get your hepatitis vaccinations.
Evan Martinez
1 word OP. Mutany. Take over his business from hunder his nose.
Cameron Jenkins
Cali is an overregulated shithole in its death throes. The taxes will murder you and you probably have a non-compete in your contract.
Julian Baker
>drug lord you mean cockroach who helped destroying thousands family lifes and can get his head cut off any minute by cartel?
Jack Diaz
This, when he's out of town start up a business next door and higher everyone from the old business for a raise
Daniel Reed
Ok, what kind of business are we talking about here? You will need to obtain part of that 200k, whether it be through a loan, or a side hussle. After that I would suggest you draw up a clear business plan, taking into consideration long term projection and annual revenue. Once you have all this together you can take it to potential investors for the rest of the 200k. Be prepared for them to ask for a silly percentage of the business, lel. Think of yourself as a salesman.
Jason Moore
YES HIGHER THEM ALL
hire
Robert Kelly
I dont know in US, but here, when you are an engineer, you usually need to sign a Letter to say that you will not work on the same job as your previous one for some time.
Jeremiah Jenkins
You should probably get advice from someone who actually knows what they’re doing. California still has the biggest market so it’s a fine choice but just recognize that it’s much more expensive to run a business there
Bentley Perry
It’s a manufacturing job. And I can’t betray my current employer. I’m gonna need them. To keep it simple, I plan on using my current employer to build the things I need for cheap and ship them to me. I’ll install them and sell them in california
Lucas Morgan
This guy was our client last year, we did about a years worth of work just for him. This was his offer, he has hella cash and he’s in the Bay Area
this. study the local regulatory environment of your target area. Find a business that does what you want to do and see what regulations they have to deal with. CA is overregulated and will strangle you most likely. Did you know Feinstein is a dual citizen of the US and Israel?
Joseph Anderson
They do it in LA but they’re twice as expensive and they’re more than a year behind in work. Which is why those Bay Area Indian niggas would rather come to us all the way in Texas.
Xavier Cook
50/50 is horseshit if you do all the work.
Elijah Diaz
Yeah I know. But if I do the work there’s no way for the other dude to mutiny me
Christian Barnes
60/40 then if he's too stupid to give up 10% when you're doing the work then you should find someone else.
Christian Thompson
Yeah I might try and get a small business loan. How the fuck do I do that tho
