wut?

how the fuck you digged this?

Please for you to be shoveling, pajeet.

Holy shit, that's actually a huge huge use case I hadn't considered before.

Are we actually going to make it?

are we the 144,000?

Idk what that means, but we're going to be rich as fuck

Opposite, I think we are building the Beast.

Refuse the mark of the beast. Never get an implant. Never get some type of “chip” that allows you to - as quoting the bible “ buy and sell”.

This was prophesied by men who once paid in gold coins where the thought of how something could be bought or sold with a mark was beyond them. Yet here in the digital age - it’s a chip.

Listen. I’m not exaggerating. The bible stated the moment you accept it ( willingly ) you cut your connection to God. No matter how much regret, sorrow, begging, or crying you do. It is the one thing God said cannot be forgiven. You will live for a time (3-4 years) in the digital society - but once the Angel blows the trumpet - that’s the sign of the age of Satan ending - and the bowl of Wrath will be poured down on all demons and those who took its mark.

I will never take it. I’ll put a bullet in my head if I have to. But it says you are given a choice. Refuse it. user. If you read this - consider yourself blessed for most won’t even know this was ever written let alone told to happen. Read Revelations.

even if we ditch the religious context.
buying and selling freely is the only way to change your reality.
imagine a reality where it is illegal/impossible to invest and speculate; even if you had the knowledge to escape wage slavery you cannot do it if you cannot transact
it would be the ultimate in Keynesian economic efficiency; an entire planet of people unable to own anything or stop working

This. There were 8 guys on Jow Forums that tried to force it as /ourcoin/ during the presale ico phase of chainlink but there was a minimum requirement of 300eth to enter the presale. They convinced a bunch of anons to pool up together and shared presale links to fill them with their eth. They continued to get Link shilled and pumped up and hyped for the sibios event that link was attended, whole event turned out to be a flop chainlink had a presentation in a room of like 12 people next to the public toilets that were out of order that day due to a sewage backup and it was blocked off with yellow tape and cones, literally no news or partnership came from the event and the coin dumped back to below ico prices and created 1000's of Jow Forums bagholder anons. The coin is HEAVILY manipulated and the supply is dried up from huge whales who accumulated below ICO price to create a artificially lower supply (a lot like REQ and Dash) and these people have so much room to dump on all of you faggots to still be in profit when the time comes-- it's nothing more than a basic json parser for smart contracts, would take like a day to add to ethereum by itself. Even Vitalik told everyone he does not understand why this would be worth 32 million and he created Ethereum and therefore knows more than anyone when it comes to smart contracts. literally making links whole concept pointless and definitely no need for a token. they have only 2 developers and a scam business pitchman from South Carolina and they don't communicate at all with no proven background on either, in fact sergey was involved in a project before chainlink called NxT that he since been abandoned until it was took over by a new developer team. He even is rumored to be a “stress eater” that got kicked out of McDonalds in 2017 after a meeting with Swift where it was rumored they lost the “partnership” they advertise still on their website --- just what I heard from an insider, believe what you want.

fffffffffffuuuuuuuuu

U put the phone in ur pocket bro they already got u

anything you invented or created would be owned by the state
if they solve aging and disease you could be consciousness trapped in endless work - literally hell

Exactly what was said. Those who refused it would have more difficulty within society - but they would not be lost. Use a phone, a computer - but never an implant. It is said the mark is either on your right hand or your forehead ( whatever technology they add there - optics? ).

It’s only temporarily. You’ll be spared and shown mercy for giving your faith and heeding the words written in the bible. Most don’t even know this. Even Christian’s themselves. I like to think that those meant to be made aware are made aware someway or someone because they are ones who have and can be redeemed.

No. It is a mark on the right hand or forehead.

yeah but who are the 144k

Can't tell if you're larping, but you seem pretty serious.

Hyper religious people freak me out.

Just keep an eye open if what they are saying actually happens, and remember it was prophesied 2000 years ago. In implant in your wrist or in your forehead, that allows you to participate in the global economy which you cannot refuse.

I am dead serious. For your sake, you’ll see what you’ve learned will come. Whether you’ll choose to understand the heaviness once you see it actually happening as written in a book older than old where technology was not even a thought of being possible let alone what it would be - that these Prophets said they saw visions of terrifying rectangular structures as tall as mountains, machines that could move as fast as a horse without one ( cars ) , again - for your sake to understand the seriousness - go look yourself. Revelations chapter 12. It was always there. Now context makes us understand it clear as day.

That was strange. I’m on mobile and I posted the above but it said I was banned. Went to check why and it was a post unrelated to me whatsoever. Then it went away. Does cellular do this? Huh.

Happens to me sometimes when I'm using data at work, someone on /v/ got the IP the data uses permabanned

don't let someone arbitrate what you can buy and sell, you don't need faith to understand that

I see - good to know - thanks user

this was part of some breadcrumbs drunkanon dropped. nice job

Interesting thread.
I'm a fan of technology but only if it is kept at a distance. Not even that big into smartphones.
It's hard to tell what side people are on.
And good luck having a real discussion about this anywhere.
We will all just have to wait and see.

How do we avoid this future?

You need to be financially independent prior to its implementation, theres no need to get it if you dont need to be paid to survive

OPs link also coincides with large cash purchases becoming illegal next year gizmodo.com.au/2018/05/australia-bans-cash-for-all-purchases-over-10000-starting-july-of-2019/

Eh.
I just read the revelations passage again.
It sounds like someone putting stars on people to allow them to live in society.
Like racism?
Either way, I'll never get chipped.
If they do it forcefully, I'll just dig it out.

Revelations specifically says a mark that controls what you can buy and sell.
If it's illegal to be paid in cash you would have to live off the land if you are currently reliant on a job and refuse to take it

Yeah but the Bible is a pile of shit most of the time anyways.
There are some based passages, but a lot of it is trash. Leads people to a slave mentality.
I don't take the Bible as gospel.
I feel like a lot of it was written by (((them))).

That said blockchain does have the potential to become very controlling and anti-privacy.
The 'mark of the beast' could easily be the Star of Remphan. Maybe people were forced to wear it to identify themselves in order to be allowed to buy and sell.

Lol, you need to get off /pol
Keep saging

Hmm..
Interesting response to my post.
I've made a note.

You should read what the bowl of wrath will do to those it’s poured on after you have your short time of the digital society. Not even trying to joke. Go read it.

The bible is awesome

$8500 FOR A FLIGHT?

Damn that Mason guy is based.

What price range? More or less expensive than pre 1865?

I am not larping here. I am actually somewhat involved with this platform.

I won't say what part of this project I'm working on or how I'm involved. I'm not sure what I can and can't disclose. But there is no blockchain or distributed ledger in this platform right now (and I do not know if there will be in the future).

Think about it this way, SWIFT haven't released a working ledger platform. Why would they integrate a non-operational platform in a project which has already been through consultation with banks and started to deploy.

These projects take 2-3 years at minimum to get agreement and buy-in from all stakeholders. They would not risk a platform which hasn't been ratified and tested.

More than likely if DLT is to be used in this area, it will be in the form of a new product which replaces the NPP. It would need to have MASSIVE cost benefits to undo all the work from this project.

Jesus says the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the holy spirit. To do that you have to literally be in the direct presence of god and straight up deny him to his face.

I'm calling bullshit on the loose interpretation of revelations. It's just (((Christian))) fear mongering to cull the population that won't submit fully to their economic control model.

I think the idea is iso20022/standardisation of financial data on this scale makes it inevitable that a product like chainlink will link that data to blockchains not that npp is doing this specifically with dlt in mind

Attached: 1539966421139.png (1466x742, 400K)

What I mean to say is that when the time comes where chips are forced implants, the christians will just martyr themselves like good goys instead of fighting back

Man I gotta check out a Bible

>I am not larping here.

I.e their would be on chain smart contracts (eth) interacting with pay id's (npp) facilitated through third party oracles (li k)made efficient through all this investment in financial data standardisation (swift)

There is a huge void in the DLT space that hasn't yet been filled and that is standardisation for the best DLT. I know hyperledger and ethereum are frequently mentioned, but I know several Aus banks are looking at other private platforms (i.e. Bankable - can't remember the others right now).

I'm get several industry reports (i.e. Gartner) and there is such little action in this space it's making me kind of depressed. I talk to multiple staff across multiple banks and financial companies. The banks are interested out of curiosity, this is partly also driven by the staff holding their own investments (normie coins with a level of legitimacy like xrp).

Aus is quite far behind the tech curve for enterprise and even more in government, I'm hoping DLT and greed motivated by staffs own holdings drives some action in the coming year.

I've seen one brief mention of chainlink as an example of decentralised oracle but nothing more.

I strongly agree with the CL team that main net needs to happen, then the products can be ratified and partners built up. It's going to be a long ride.

Take it as is or leave it. Go find any evidence of the NPP using blockchain and post it here.

No ones claimming npp is doing any dlt internally but It's insanely bullish for crypto to have an entire country's population of "pay ids" callable to smart contracts via an oracle

What do you think taking the mark is? IT IS blasphemy of the Holy Spirit within you. Choosing it is you denying God. The arguments come up of how people could ever even know such things - I don’t have an answer to give you fully but somehow I feel the people who care and genuinely seek out God for the sake of wanting to become something more, to understand, to become aware, to be a able to grow into what you know you have the potential within you to - but fall short. Those who do not want anything from God other than His simple company. No favours. Just to be there. The ones who blame their shortcomings on not their own actions and freewill but instead to God... I’ve read many comments like this. If God loves us why did XYZ happen? Freewill is freewill. XYZ caused by freewill by people to other people is freewill. What good is trying to become something more if you never had to be tested in your raw state in flesh alone without a choice? Would a person who indulges in lust rather than reflect on why he does what he does ever understand what he is? Would he care to? I don’t know. I feel everyone is unique. We aren’t better. We aren’t more holy. We are less than the dirt we came from. But we chose to look when we didn’t have to. Hence us here - we are not “normies” - we seek to understand more than what was shown to us as life - and God delivered us our request. We ask for strength yet we are made to feel weak. We ask for love yet people rejected us in our youth. It destroyed what we were and rebuilt us to something else. We aren’t the same but we are not strong. We do not feel it. But it’s because we were weak and burdened that made us become strong. The price of strength. We asked. We got it. We sought - we are shown. That’s how I see it but I’m incapable of grasping it all. My ego blinds me.

Most of what you've written is completely wrong.

afr.com/technology/asx-blockchain-to-go-live-at-end-of-2020-20180427-h0zcgx

NPP was a shit fight even for the banks to get right and implemented. Still not all the way there.

Does give interesting options for apps and the such. Like wallet apps and the such that would allow tokens and fiat to be spent. But any open banking style API would do the same, NPP is just a prebuilt framework that would make the integration easy.

All that said, NPP is the example i go to when telling people crypto "currencies" are a meme. Its fast and essentially free for users
Smartcontracts are the future of crypto, not currencies when we already have quick, smart functional systems already in place

I would sooner say the npp is a meme, a patchwork attempt by the redundant but still standing centralised monetary policy makers to remain relevant when all it will do is accelerate the adoption of market governed monetary policy through peer to peer cash

I hear ya.

But until peer to peer currency has the same insurance, for lack of a better word, that a bank gives you on the end to end journey of your money, including reversals, it won't go mainstream

NPP serves pretty much all today's peer to peer aus domestic use cases. And it is a platform to be built on, anz are building interesting things

>Revelation 13
gg guys

P2p cash has that insurance. Fiat only has the illusion of that insurance, its collapse will force people to learn to take responsibility for their own wealth

All the time

emergence is coming

Was about to mention this as well. The platform that Digital Asset is building for the Australian Stock Exchange could be HUGE. If it works as planned, will (1) cut trading fees by orders of magnitude (2) cut settlement times from 2-3 days down to 2 minutes (3) cut trading and settlement errors (which are expensive af to sort out manually) by orders of magnitude.

Having said that, user above was, I think saying that there was not much talk about DLT in BANKS re: payment. The project at ASX is for clearing and settlement of stock trades, not payments.

>I think the idea is iso20022/standardisation of financial data on this scale makes it inevitable that a product like chainlink will link that data to blockchains not that npp is doing this specifically with dlt in mind

Correct. Digitizing, and more importantly, standardizing, data is crucial prerequisite for use of smart contracts generally. As smart contracts see wider adoption, MANY — not all, but many, maybe MOST smart contracts are going to require data from OFF chain — (1) data about the outside world (e.g. price of copper for a derivatives contract, or amount of rainfall in a given region to calculate payout for crop insurance) OR (2) data that is off chain because it is sensitive/confidential (e.g. the contents of MOST commercial contracts). In each case, we need a way to incentivize those who will provide this data. That is the problem chainlink is set up to solve.

Anons, read this link.
Blockchain is the ANTI-BEAST technology.
They've already get the BEAST system set up for you. Blockchain will destroy it.

At least that's what the link says.

I was at the cio summit

Attached: IMG_20181021_025527.jpg (3000x1195, 768K)

Very interesting. Thanks for posting this

If I’m reading this corrrectly, this is presentation by CIO of Australian Stock exchange (“ASX”) on plans for use of DLT for, among other things, clearing and settling stock trades. Do I have that right?

Looks like that is just the start though.

Can I ask, what was reaction from attendees? “Wow this looks cool” or “Yeah, whatever” or what?

Exactly

The Books of Enoch
The Forgotten Books of Eden
The Abramelim Books of Magic ( only book that talks about Holy Magic that God has given us authority to use - same things Solomon used to capture 72 djinn spirits that he held authority over and commanded to do what he wished. Some Djinn could “move the world as if he took no steps - transporting him to where he wanted by having the world move to him rather than him walk to it - it goes into hiw burdened Abraham was in how so many men claiming to be Holy were deceived by demons - they could speak and excite tempests, float, cause astral projections, etc. The guy who could float ended up being found with his head mutilated, dead in a ditch when Abraham mentioned seeing him after a few weeks. He met Abramelim who expected him. There’s a wiki article that literally writes a King came to Abraham asking for help to reclaim land stolen by him. Abraham agreed. It’s mentioned in the book as I cant remember off my mind right now. He basically summoned what he claims 2000 djinns who appeared as mortal men. Literally - the wiki article going into this King and his life say that during said battle - about 20,000 men of unknown origin were alongside him, wearing armour they could not find a origin for. Now you know.).

This is what you should read. But remember. Never force yourself if you feel you want to digest it in chunks. That’s the best way to.

When all the individual banks are running their own blockchains, you won't be able to get the balance/payment data without Chainlink. So the app maybe or not uses blockchain, doesn't matter cause all of its source material will

Can some user answer me this, I'm a chainlink holder and I do understand that a thriving API-economy is bullish for Link in general but why do everyone assume every whitepaper and feature description featuring APIs in the FinTech world will be related to blockchains?

>Can some user answer me this, I'm a chainlink holder and I do understand that a thriving API-economy is bullish for Link in general but why do everyone assume every whitepaper and feature description featuring APIs in the FinTech world will be related to blockchains?

Trying to wrap my head around this myself but here’s my understanding. Most transactions in current fintech world are CLEARLY to expensive/cumbersome. E.g. people still using fax machines. If you buy a share of stock, the sale takes a tenth of a second but it takes 2 DAYS to finally settle the trade. This is — often, because the parties dont trust each other, and so each keeps its own records (e.g. of each stock sale) and then there is a cumbersome, low trust process of reconciling all these, e.g. using fax machines because we KNOW that fax cover sheet will be admissible as evidence in court if there is a dispute.

SO, many in various parts of financial industry (e.g. derivatives, payments, managing bonds, clearing and settling trades) see DLT as a HUGE cost saving, error reducing, waste eliminating innovation. API is crucial for this to work, since it means we can have software talking to software rather than, e.g., humans sending faxes back and forth. So, point is, APIs + DLT go hand in hand. You CAN, of course, have APIs without DLT, but, as long as you have APIs seems, to many people, inevitable that use of DLTs will soon follow.

Yes, I get that part, but I still haven't read anything resembling a clear statement from a large firm stating "we're definitely moving transactions to the blockchain the next years" or something similar

Well the link that this user posted is EXACTLY that. Australian Stock Exchange saying they are moving clearing and settlement of stock trades to blockchain in the next few years.

chapter 13 ackshually

douay rheims is most accurate translation

Everything needs time. One thing to realize is here in biz / the sentiment of LINK makes it seem that Chainlink will be suddenly adopted. The thing to realize is we’re so unbelievably early. 2020-22 is when things will really fucking heat up. 2019 mid year will be when the main net comes out. People will be building adapters and experimenting all the way until the end of the year. Partnerships will slowly unwind during this time although most will still be under NDA’s.

People will be blindsided by this tech. A true disruptor. One thing I’m scared of is just how much will you actually make running a node? Will this actually be viable?
I think people underestimate how complicated it will be to figure out these tiny details. A free market might push it down to the bottom dollar? I guess we’ll see how it goes. (Also consider the 350MM tokens waiting to given to institutions ... how the fuck are they going to properly divide that app?)

That's what I was thinking!

Some people haven't read Harry Potter either

The big FI’s don’t have to do the heavy lifting of moving everything to DLT. They just have to provide access to existing networks. It’s like trying to access the internet without a web browser existing right now, it’s mostly useless. But provide a window of access to the network and the innovation will eventually take care of itself.

That’s why we get excited by the focus on standardizing and opening API’s to access financial services. It’s the first half of communication to the network. Chainlink is the second half
