YOU can’t
dealer has a 7 or higher showing and you have 15, what do you do?
stay?
>not playing perfect strategy
you will not make it
surrender is the correct answer
Damn those women are nasty
be warned. if you do this, the dealer will question you at first. if you go through with it, they will signal a pit boss and they will start watching you. casinos do not like winners
HIT ME
no, at least not in las vegas. they use auto-shuffling machines for multi-deck games (continuous shuffle) and any double-deck or single-deck games you find where you might be able to count cards, they change the payout for blackjacks to make the house edge way higher. also their computer vision cameras can track the cards dealt and the count and your betsize and just automatically red flag you if you are increasing betsize when count is in your favor and you will be backed the fuck off
the only way to gain an edge on the house is video poker with perfect play and optimal pay table conditions usually with promotions in effect like double player points or whatever. unless you have millions of dollars of bankroll like richard brodie you cant afford to play any +ev machines where you can earn a decent hourly rate, you'll grind out 6 figures if you are good but spend 80 hours a week in front of a goddamn machine. thats why that dude shot up a crowd in vegas, he was numb to the world after a million hours in front of a video poker machine
i would like to play at your table. you seem like a fun guy
>t. ex professional gambler
i made millions exploiting online casino signup and reload bonuses that are +ev using dozens of sockpuppet accounts on vpns in the mid 2000s

nice job, user
If dealer has 7, and you have 15, you hit. But, if you are shuffle tracking, and you come across a stack of tens, and other people are playing, you should stand.
No, you can't win over time.
As a former card counter, the problem is not the edge. You can get a 2-3% edge if you learn a level 2 counting system, and even higher if you shuffle track.
The problem is impulsiveness that comes from gambling too much. The execution required is next level, and frankly the effort required for that would be better put towards any other business.
Also, casinos cheat. If they hand shuffle they can stack the deck in a way that will kill a card counter. Basically, they can clump cards together. If all the aces come out at once, blackjack becomes negative expectation because main advantage from counting is that blackjack pays 3/2 to player, and chance of that happening is higher with lots of tens and aces left in the deck.
If casinos have shoe games that use automatic shufflers to shuffle the cards, the casino can't lose over time. Clumping will happen as stated above.
Forget gambling as a source of income. It's good for impressing people as to how much money your willing to throw away, and is good for networking. But as a source of income, it's shit.
beatingbonuses.com can teach you some of the basics if you are interested in that but its 99% dead from when I was doing it professionally. I was using bots to automate perfect play and maximizing ev and the hardest problem i had was laundering the winnings. like i said its pretty dead now
I know they do whatever they want with their casino, but it's just so damn sleazy to punish people for playing a game well.
correct, but in BJ it's called surrender. you get to keep half your bet, though
Why dont casinos use trick shuffles to guarantee only the house wins?
>I was using bots to automate perfect play and maximizing ev
based
bro they use continuous shuffle machines with like 20 decks in there or some shit, there is zero point to counting cards at a modern vegas blackjack table
Be the dealer.

Obviously, anyone that plays blackjack seriously will look for games that are technically beatable.
The bellagio has a doubledeck handshuffled game with decent penetration.
But even there, if you play long enough, they will destroy any counter.
>surrender is the correct answer
goddamn this reminds me of the absolute best exploit I found in my years of online gambling. Party Casino (offshoot of Part Poker) had a European Blackjack game with surrender rules in effect. there was a software glitch where if you clicked the surrender button twice fast enough, it would return 1/2 your bet twice.. meaning you would get 3/4th of your bet back (1/2, then 1/2 of the remaining half). We ran computer sims to find the optimal strategy (you end up surrendering on most of your hands unless you got 19 or 20) and it was like a 1+% player advantage. FUCKING HUGE. We grinded that shit for weeks cashing out probably at least a half million dollars between all of us that knew about it (at least the ones I knew about who knew of it) before they fixed it.
fucking amazing
and you
seem like
a samefag
another one for you. my business partner at the time liked to go to the fucking clubs and shit in vegas and chase girls. i was like the math/computer/programming autist half of the business so i hated that shit, but he signed up for a membership to the Playboy Club in the Palms casino the day they opened up membership signups. So we go to the opening night, and wouldnt u fucking know... the video poker machine at the bar, at the very far left side of the bar, was glitched. it was giving out 15x too many player loyalty points (the cashback rebate you get for sliding your card into the machine while gambling). We calculated this to be over a 1% player advantage. We manned that machine every single hour the club was open for the first 5 days the playboy club was open, just collecting thousands and thousands of dollars worth of loyalty dollars. they eventually fixed it :( but never took our money away. I spent it at the luxury watch shop inside the palms (you gotta spend the points somewhere in the casino, whatever)
this user fucks & chucks
an actual Jow Forums superhero
You can if youre the casino, otherwise the numbers will never work out in your favor long term (unless you're at some crazy casino where they dont limit your bets and you can do shit like put a million dollars on black and then walk out after)
ITT: anons who have never heard of Ben al-Affleck, the greatest blackjack player to ever exist. never mind the fact that he has $10MM+ bankroll to play with. just nignore that detail.
absolutely baste if true
pic related is a movie inspired by this user's life.
I ran a gambling hall for years. Didn't even came across 1 glitch. Maybe a roulette that didn't have proper care could be faulty, but that's about it. Slot machines didn't really glitch
this was the only glitched machine I ever found, I lived in vegas for about 3 years and have visited many times otherwise. right place and time, plus I think a gift from the simulated universe we live in. it was some crazy times, I could write a book about just the 3 years i spent there. but i am a 30 year boomer now with a wagecuck engineering job and a wife and kid just trying to make it in crypto. i blew almost all the money i made back in those days but stashed some away in crypto ;-)
Well, nice story, I'm Belgian. And during the years in the casino world i knew of people doing it professionally (slots). The trick is bring enough money and make calculations to get in the worst case close enough to your 98% return. And quit when you're up. Most people couldn't handle it though, so we allowed them to play, since they did nothing wrong. They travelled the country to do a different casino every day.
Do you think casinos are starting to get desperate again and exploitable like how this guy fucked the casinos in the asshole?
>this was the only glitched machine I ever found,
and I mean physical machine in las vegas. I found more than 1 glitched online game. but most of the money i made came from just doing the signup bonuses over and over again
I have been out of that game for several years now, living the boomer wagecuck life and trying to make it on Jow Forums like the rest of you but if the US ever legalizes (federally) online gambling then I think we'll see a second gold rush of profitable online casino bonuses that burgers can exploit. in 2008 when the US banned online gambling it really killed the industry since stupid donkey americans losing their money being addicted to gambling was the source of the money driving the whole industry. when it dried up so did the profitable bonuses and they caught on to all our tricks for the most part. just read the terms and conditions of any casino signup bonus these days. see all the restricted games, countries, bet sizes, methods of play etc. etc. when playing with a bonus? thats because of guys like us raping them over the years lol
Isn't there passport control if you want to collect your money?
yes I had a photoshop guy who made fake passports for us. at first we were paying real people real money to scan their passport and utlity bills but when we found out we could just as easily make them up out of thin air and photoshop them it was cheaper, LOL. except it cost me $2500 one time because my photoshop guy used a picture of some famous boy band faggot and neither him nor i knew who it was but the casino was like umm.... why is your picture 'so and so' from boy band x and I was like uhhhhh busted, oops
fucking kek nice work
by the way this is another way they caught onto our tricks. now they have better software to check the passport to see if its a real person, and they make you take a selfie holding a certain word or something. this makes it harder to farm sockpuppets since u need pajeets on hand to take the selfie and sell their passport. just makes the logistics all that more complicated in scaling it up to make real money which is why i retired
No. Nowadays casinos ban you very quickly for card counting. You're late to the party. Pro tip: if there are thousands of books about an easy way to make money then it's probably not easy anymore.
>Nowadays casinos ban you very quickly for card counting.
How the fuck is that not illegal?
in las vegas at least, it is not illegal to count cards but the casino is within their right to ban you from the property. they just can't press charges or something if you are caught card counting. you are just 86'd from the property and your name and photo go into some sharp player database the casinos share
you're free to deny acces to people as long as you have a valid 'reason' can be about anything. Suspicion of cheating is enough.
wow, those prostitutes are all ugly
casinos are private property, they can tell you to fuck off if they think you smell bad or look trashy
No. There are bettibg limits and if you win too much they will ban you. You can be banned from all casinos worldwide if you win too much. They don't care if you are "cheating" or not they will just ban you permanently globaly if they lose money to you.
You are on private property. If they want you out you have to leave. If they ban you you can never come back.
No but you can make 20k in a few hours before they kick you out.
Blackjack and poker are the only games where you aren't at a pitiful disadvantage to the house.
I heard of a physicist/computer engineering phd who made a machine in his shoe to game the roulette table. He would press a button with his toe every time the ball went exactly one full revolution and based on how long it was taking between intervals for the ball to make a full revolution his machine could use physics formulas to estimate with high accuracy which section of the roulette wheel the ball would land in and give a small shock to his leg directing him to which area the ball would likely stop on based on how quickly it was slowing down. He would then quickly place his bets on all the corresponding numbers right before bets were stopped. He won more than 2/3 attempts and was eventually banned even though he was never "caught". He can no longer enter another casino because he won too much money.
Easy strategy, never hit anything 12 and above. Not saying it's a winning strategy but it's a safe one and will be surprised how much you actually win doing this. And if you count abit while you are playing will help even more. Counting cards is surprisingly not that hard op
this guy was a legend, it was a team if i recall actually
No. You can with poker, because you're matching your skill against degenerate gambling addicts who'd just as soon blow their money on roulette. Any other game, including blackjack, you're playing against the house and it's rigged in their favor.
