Doesn’t mean anything now. We could see that even when we tether pumped on finex to 7.8k, it instantly dumped back down and shorts started stacking up again. Longs that have been open since Jan have closed just yesterday, which means the only real support we’ve had all year has just been pulled out while no one was looking. Sure, we may see another short squeeze of $500 or so, but it’ll probably only be on finex and won’t actually do anything to the long/short ratio. Honestly, the long/short ratio on finex is the only thing bulls have on their side. Fundamentals are screaming down, too many bullish retards remain all around on here, reddit, telegram, bitcointalk, cnbc, etc. We haven’t seen capitulation. BTC pumped from $0.001 to $20k on the coattails of the post 2008 bull market. Now we’re on the verge of another recession. Please remember that BTC has NEVER seen a global recession and we have NO IDEA what it’s going to do. We’re going into very uncharted territory and if you think you have a clue about what’s coming in 2019, you’re dead wrong. If even gold dumped in the 2008 recession, do you think something as new, uncertain and speculative as BTC would survive. Sure, it might come back stronger in the post recession years, but in all honesty, if everything does go to shit in the financial world, don’t be surprised if BTC goes under $1K and stays there for a good while.
