Is it possible to write an algorithm that comes close to predicting the correct lottery numbers?
Is it possible to write an algorithm that comes close to predicting the correct lottery numbers?
Something tells me that this is not trolling and actually a real and very stupid question
no, since the process is random
You are at a casino playing roulette. Red has come up five times in a row. What are the odds the next roll is black? Solve this and I'll tell you the answer to your question
it should be possible because future is already set in stone
>playing the lottery
Yes good sir and I will share my private secret for only 2 easy payments of $19.99. Please check my instruction manual to success at www.mysecretlotterywinningsystemthatyoushouldinstantlybuytodaytobecomeamillionaire.com/rajpajeet
It's not truly random though
A random number generator
only if you knew the exact starting positions of the numbered balls and the mechanics of the air machine (PowerBall drawing), then you could simulate the airflow and particle physics and guess the drawing with some accuracy.
Yes. Life is deterministic
Here's what you do bro:
Check out the results for the previous drawings online. Make a database with all the drawings. Now take the first drawing and run it through well known mathematical functions, one by one, until one of these functions outputs the next drawing's results. Then run the same function on the 2nd drawing's results to make sure it outputs drawing 3, and so on. Now you've found the pattern and will just need to apply it to the most recent drawing.
You would need to know exactly the time from when the machine started blowing to when each ball was pulled and that's probably too much variance to come anywhere close to a realized advantage in predicting the outcome.
Better to just use my method
49%
One guy won by playing the most drawn numbers.
i've backlogged that strategy, didn't work here
>>his lotteries don't use entangled photons for true randomness.
of course you can...,you can do whatever you want in life, you just have to believe in yourself.
trying to use a computer that cant generate random numbers to try and predict random numbers
50%
that write down the last result in the database shit will always differ since the numbers point towards the average draft and there is no average in a 1:130 million outcome
0% dat roulette be racis.
