Same here. 24 years old. Crippling depression; can barely get out of bed to for work. Make $20-$30/hour as a bartender, but only work about 20 hours a week because of MDD.
I have such a deep lack of interest in everything, I have trouble committing to anything. Success feels meaningless to me. I’m just barely staying afloat.
Recently began medicating with an NDRI and getting Jow Forums. There seems to be some improvement. I certainly hope said improvement can continue.

No, the 0.1 become like 0.14, then I sent to an brazilian exchange, lost 20% because of tax then cashed out some part.
With that money I paid my mother new glasses, the rent of a better house and some medical things to my younger brother.
These are reasonable benchmarks. If you're not around these numbers, you need to step your game up.
Good work. Inheritance or self-made?
I lost all those eth and erc20 tokens because the private key now is gone, lost like 2 months doing airdrops for almost nothing.
But I'm in a better house now, things were worst in the past so I wont give up anyway.
Thanks for asking, wish you a good weekend.

Salary + bonus is 110k + 15k pre-tax, and I save ~70% of my post-tax income, so hopefully the exponential growth will start kicking in soon. I'm going to start holding cash until a good deal comes around, so post-tax investments may be on hold for a while.
this is why I was saving a down payment on a house, got the 20%, the decided to give up and dumped it into stocks with the recent dip

I don't really have a plan desu, I cashed the vast majority of that out in 2017 and 18 as BTC rallied hard. Now I'm sitting on more cash than I ever thought I'd have, and looking at the potential uses for it gets me scared because literally every asset market is at what seems like all time highs.
As a Torontofag I still can never afford a home, and buying a condo is a possibility but I don't want to set down roots given I'm still junior in my career and might have to move. Equities seem toppy and I don't want to be that retard that goes all-in at the top of the market, even though I know that market timing is a meme and it's important to be invested.
So for now I'm just sitting on it hoping that at least bitcoin shits the bed and gets to 3k where I want it to be, so that I can rebuy my way back to 21 coins since it's the only asset class I feel like I have enough knowledge about to have an edge in. In the meantime it feels nice not having to worry about petty bills or being able to afford shit like drinks or dinner on a night out.

we use credit cards for shit we buy anyway like groceries, gasoline, kids clothes, just pay off it in full every month, get cash back. Never Paid interest or fees.
Likely not because the problem is that most of the well-paying jobs are concentrated in few urban centers in Canada, namely Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, and Hongcover has even more fucked housing prices and Montreal is full of frogs.
I'm banking on either housing speculators getting blown the fuck out within 5 years due to rising rates and insanely high household debt figures in Canada, markets tanking huge on a recession allowing me to actually buy a decent dip, or bitcoin shiting the bed to 2-3k allowing me to buy back into that.
If all asset markets keep rallying i'm just going to get raped by inflation i suppose
Why the fuck do you have so much cash?
Move that to shitcoin. All of it.

>are building equity and benefit from price appreciation
>can rent it out in the future or even while you’re living there
>don’t have to worry about doing modifications as long as it’s up to code
>can settle down and don’t have to deal with the expenses and stresses of moving around from place to place
>mortgage payment stays the same while rent keeps going up
>once mortgage is paid off your expenses go way down (imagine what rents will be in 15-30 years)

We're all pretty much in the same boat in this thread. The only difference is some of us can go a little while longer without being homeless if we lost our jobs.
