Best and worst states to live in the US?

Personally I hate Illinois. Chicago is a shithole in the westside and southside. Northside is expensive as fuck and not worth it. Suburbs I used to live in are flooded with arabs that are complete assholes. Illinois has some of the worst taxes (Pic related). Sales tax is 10% which is a lot for bugerland. It seems like they just burn the money too. The state is bankrupt and politically in shambles. The streets are just fucking awful with potholes too. The cost of living for a studio apartment is around $900 in a ok area in the suburbs. In the ghettos it will be cheap but you'll probably die in a few weeks. What are some states that you love or hate user?

From Illinois originally, it's a corrupt broke police state.

>The cost of living for a studio apartment is around $900 in a ok area in the suburbs.
Wtf are you complaining about? That would be $1200 here.

All of it.
t. yuro who cant imagine not having free healthcare

Where are you at user?

Dont get me started with healthcare here. Its horrible. My brother needed a heart and lung surgery and ONLY for the 6 hour surgery it was 1.6 million dollars (Without insurance)

what the fuck
how did you pay for it?

Parents had top of the line healthcare insurance because my brother has had a lot of health issues. It still was expensive as fuck with insurance though.

WA. Inflated tech pay and no income tax.

I dont know you or your brother but I'm betting that all of this could have been avoided by eating a good diet instead of ( im guessing ) mostly carbohydrates

Moved to Indianapolis recently and unironically love it. Emerging tech town. If you make a halfway decent wage here you can live really well. Plus the state leaves you the fuck alone.

I've heard a lot of bad things about Illinois.

I'm in VA, it's nice. Cost of living is average-to-low as long as you don't live in DC, and weather is pretty good too.

Chicago outlying cities like Naperville, Elgin are the epitome of suburban hell.

Na he had cancer when he was a kid and it fucked him up. Then developed Pulmonary fibrosis (Scarring of the lungs) from a mutation. Just a lot of bad luck

Elgin is full of sketchy Mexicans with civics

Travelling barfly and foodie here.
SW burbs aren't too bad. Boring with yuppies here and there, but it's at least convenient. Naperville is where to go if you want to go to a cafe and just bar hop.
Cities around Orland Park are fucked with road construction that will never be done. Lagrange ave has been thrashed for years and 159th is about to be the same way.
As far as politics go, it's corrupt all the down. I once attended a town hall meeting in Tinley Park a couple years back. The board of trustees wanted to hire their own private investigators to investigate themselves for misappropriation of funds. Needless to say, there were alot of angry speeches from constituents cut short by time limits.

Massachusetts is pretty nice as long as you don't mind shoveling snow in the winter and avoid the fuck out of the Springfield area

>not living in north loop
$1200 /mo studio alpha tier, good job, good moneys

>Massachusetts
+ not a lot of minorities
+ people are fairly educated
+ lots of history if you're into that kind of thing

- high taxes
- most educated people are libtards
- insane real estate prices
- weather fucking sucks 80% of the year
- the rural land is a brown, barren hellscape of dead grass and leafless trees during any winter/late fall month when the ground isn't covered by snow
- traffic fucking sucks
- lots of gays
- pretty ugly women

I have family in Cape Cod (With their summer house) and its amazing there. Its so peaceful and beautiful. So calm....

Where

I grew up in kenilworth Illinois

2nd richest zip code in the nation. 25 miles north of city on the lake.

NO Jews or blacks allowed in kenilworth. Even tho new trier the high school is like 40% Jewish.

Here is the home I grew up in....

When my family moved to kenilworth in 1984... real estate agent even asked my mom if we were Jewish to try and deter us away if we were lol

Bump for kenilworth Illinois that doesn't allow Jews

Ft. Lauderdale is okay. Lots of spics though but lots of decent pay jobs, okay living expenses and hurricanes seem to not hit this part of florida. I'm considering moving there after a buddy moved down for a 165k digital marketing job. No state income tax too

Northwest NJ is very nice and so is the Princeton area. Rest of the state sucks cocks. I live outside of Philly now and I want to kill myself. Taxes are ads regardless of where you are.

Broward county is the armpit of SE Florida. Palm Beach county is where you want to be - specifically the northern parts.

Im in Wyoming now and taxes are way less in this void of a state. People are amazing. Laws are lax on most stuff besides weed. Its nice and comfy here.

Currently in mid/central Florida and just want a place with low-mid cost of living and no niggers
is that so much to ask?
I've been eyeing OK but havent heard much about it.

Cost of living is super cheap, I'm considering it. Thanks user

I live outside Roanoke, 9/10

Any illinois bros /st Charles/

healthcare is free in america you dumb eurofucks

Pennsylvania is hell on earth.

Which part? Philly area? Middle of nowhere Poconos? Lehigh Valley? Pittsburgh? PA is big.

All of it. Shittsburgh and Filfthadelphia being the worst. To be fair, I haven't been to northeastern PA but I'm confident that's a shithole too.

Based and redpilled

Nope, /West Frankfort/ here. White trash and meth capital of the state.

of course you guys are surrounded by arabs and misery, and high property tax living in west suburbs probably

>hes not smart enough to live amongst the respectable jews and chinks in northern suburbs

I live in the North Suburbs of Chicago. The taxes and politics suck but they have a negligible effect on day to day life. Potholes are bad in any city that has snowy winters. You can't escape that. Minorities exist everywhere unless you wanna go to the boonies in Montana or some shit. Cost of living is reasonable for how big of a city it is. Much better than Cali or NYC, worse than smaller cities with less than half the population. Area of the city/suburbs has more of an affect than the fact that it is Illinois.

Summertime in Chicago is one of the best places in the world if you have any semblance of a social life, too bad winter is like 8 months of the year.

Gotta pick your battles based on your priorities and lifestyle. Its got its ups and downs.

Yep. Any reasonable person here who thinks they hate it, go check out the other states and report back. For me, we have the best of both worlds here. Unbeatable amount of choices for food / shopping, 3rd in that to LA / NY but who the fuck would want to live in LA or NY. Also NYC and cali make housing look cheap as fuck here. We arent even in the housing bubble yet here in Chicago in comparison to other large metro areas. Good schools too.

>Good schools too.
Are you nuts? Chicago Public schools are absolute trash. Teachers are always on strike bitching and moaning too.

I'm from kenilworth nigga

Hes probably talking about universities bud.
