>attend uni
>class is forcing us to buy $400 textbook for class
>rent out book for free from library
>scan each page for free and put each single page in a binder
>normies and instructors look at me silly and sometimes make jokes at me for that
ITT: Times when you were the Jew
Better to be a jew than an NPC
Torrenting every digital product I want through a vpn.
Seriously don't get how some people aren't tech savvi enough for that.
I wana marry something like that pic when I hit 40 or 50. Oh my fucking lord
Doesn't sound jewy to me, then again, my last name ends in ski, so I'm probably a cryptojew and don't even know it.
I forgot to mention but I found out that same textbook that the school was selling for $400 was worth $8
I legitimately don't understand how schools haven't gotten regulated with their spending
Or Polish
Just buy them on Amazon.
>buy
>scan shit for free instead
Nigger I just sustained myself for an additional extra week with those $40 I could've paid
Jews made the NPC's
You weren't the jew unless you made multiple copies and sold them to your fellow classmates for $100.
>my last name ends in ski,
why are pollacks so dumb?
I thought about it but most people make fun of me already for carrying around binders full of scans and the school would more than likely intervene. I actually did have one of the counselors here try to tell me what I was doing was illegal
Quite literally the average OKCupid British female under 25. Fucking hell.
Do you think this makes you a jew?
jewish blood.
Nearly all poles are tainted
Hi Mike.
it can easily add up to $1000 a semester, up to $10k for the whole gig.
I rented, torrented, scanned, did everything i could.
One semester I couldn't find an alternative anywhere so i bought it outright at $200. wish i'd gone in with some classmates for a copy and then just created a scanned PDF.
the professors pretend to care about our plight but never did anything about it. Just required the latest edition every year. had one good professor that just made his own materials or used freely available shit.
how many students would just blindly go along with it and pay full price every semester boggled my mind
I apply for bank accounts and credit cards just to get the sign on bonus. I just got 4 credit cards that'll pay me $650 total for spending $2000 within 3 months.
>40 or 50
Quite a big difference between those two ages
>matriculation exams
>don't want book for few days but need it
>buy, look for flaws, two pages are stuck
>study with it, write exams, return book
WEE WOO WEE WOO PULL OVER SHLOMO YOU'RE UNDER ARREST
this
you can just google the name of the book + pdf and it will come up 90% of the time doesn't even require torrenting.
never had to buy a book for a linguistics class
my department was full of actual cool people, made all the materials themselves, gave out their own books for free, or flat out refused to assign anything we had to buy
even offered to get through the paywall for some of us for academic articles we wanted to use for projects
You weren't the Jew, you were the Jew slayer. Good job user, college is a scam that preys on those too young to weigh the benefit of their degree against decades of crushing debt. Textbooks are so bad they aren't even a scam, they're highway robbery.
sometimes the course requires you to buy an e-textbook so you can do the online homework (which is usually made a large portion of the grade)
once I had to buy the same textbook twice in a row
Tell the professor this is obviously a scam for forcing students to pay more to the textbook companies (which the professor/college almost certainly know and are getting kickbacks for, but don't expect to be called on), and you will gladly do the same work on paper out of the physical textbook, but refuse to let your education be a tool to enrich private conglomerates. If they refuse drop the class and leave the professor an awful review (make sure to let them know this, official university reviews of professors are a big deal for their career advancement), if it's a required course find another professor who is less likely to jew you. If you stand up for yourself more than 99% of the NPCs, you will be 99% more successful in having things go your way.
>torrent biochem $300 book
>Dropbox share it with around 60 people from class
>End up on academic probation for being a Jew
I hope you learned your lesson: Never Jew a Jew
Because they can't spell toboggan
Ded af. Y did u kill him
>didn't tell everyone you were sent it from someone else
you got what you deserved for trying to be cool. you snitched on yourself. btw the only way to be cool is by not trying
Because it's a linguistic class. It's already a scam by itself
who girl sir?
Make sure you upload the scans to libgen
Crashing the textbook industry with no survivors
What a racket education is. As if text contained in those books are somehow worth more than other books printed with the same ink.
Strange how no SJWs seem to have any problems with that.
I know that in my socialist republic of norgay the state started buying the books for the students to a larger degree a few years ago, but they still purchase them at extremely high prices and the population as a whole is taking the costs instead of the individual student, but the publishers are still as fat as before of course.
Yeah my profs would have a USB drive with all the material on it outside their office which they told you not to use wink wink.
Norge suger
Buying those books for $8 and telling your classmates you decided to stop following this course and that they can buy your book for $300. Now that's what a jew would do.
t. actual Israeli
Girls who dress weird like this really turn me on somehow
I don't understand this, American education is a scam?
UK STEM here, uni gave us free textbooks from a sponsorship deal with industry, textbook was useful but not a requirement for the courses, all notes were freely available.
>local casino offers free buffet every wednesday
Is this an american thing?
Here profs just use power points and make them available. We rarely buy books and they cost 50€ max, I only recall getting an accounting book and an essentials of micro and macroecon
