What's the most awkward handshake you've given before or after an interview?

>Going to interviews

brutally mogged my interviewer. swallowed his hand with my hand, while he was only able to grab my fingers.

Never awkward. I've got massive hands even though I'm a manlet.

firm handshake

One time my interviewer hugged me (was a woman). It was kind of strange but I went with it. Got the offer.

>female coworker walks up to my desk every morning
>holds her hand in my face
>her hand is in a position like expecting a handkiss
>she is tall and looks down on me while I sit
>she smiles diabolical
>twist my hand from below into her hand and shake awkwardly

what she mean by this?

>Told banking branch mgr I wanted the job because I wanted to dress professionally for a change
>at like 17 years old

I need more context about her

I was once interviewed by a guy missing most of his right hand. He offered the stump and i shook it.

I didn't get the job.

Should have tilted your hand forward and given him a not quite stump bump.

Uh user I think he wanted you to kiss the stump to show respect

she has assburgers user

ahh fuck this thread made me cringe hard looking at it but after 15 refreshes of the catalog the feeling wont go away so ill post this hoping it does.

>be in waiting room
>have name called by PA and head to the door
>bossman holds door open with one hand and has other open gesturing toward a chair
>accidentally grab his hand thinking he was waiting for a handshake

fuck that was awkward. He was polite about it and went with it after I engulfed his floppy hand with mine and shook it.

Then after the interview which i recovered and went well in I thought.

>he stands up from behind his desk
>i stand up and exchange niceties as we end the interview
>he outstretches his arms wide and palms facing upwards saying thanks for coming down
>i missread it as him wanting a hug?
>awkwardly hug him over the table
>he doesnt hug back at all and leaves his arms in position
>sort of laugh it off and leave

Still waiting to hear back from them one week later. Hopefully I get the job. I think it was the nerves making me over read into his body language and take him up on interactions that werent there.

>that was the test

RRRREEEEEE

Total fucking alpha

>missed his hand so he basically only has the tips of my fingers in his hand
>he squezes them
>didnt get the offer

Why

Should laugh when you do awkward things and explain what was going through your head. Makes things the situation funny instead of weird

It was extremely awkward in the moment like I have never felt in my life, but im pretty sure i've got the job or at least a real good chance at it. They told me they would let me know by the end of the week, but the interview was on Tuesday however thats only been 3 days. I presume they mean 7 days from the date of the interview if not they would have told me by the weekend - so im not worrying.

Haha thanks mate, I know you're only joking but I did my best to 'fake it till you make it' and act confident like they say and amped myself up by having a cigarette and listening to a few songs from fight club before I went in.

She wanted anal

dude, how

Used to jokingly do that thing where you tickle the other persons wrist with your index finger to my friends. Before my interview while shaking everyone’s hand tickle the main interviewers wrist out of bad habit. Awkwardly ignore it and proceed as usual. At the end when shaking hands again he does it back to me. Still got the job though but turned it down for better opportunities.

Lol. On the last day of my first semester of college one of my young-ish female teachers hugged me. Felt weird, man.

One interviewer who was a total bro went in for a brofist at the end of our interview as a semi-joke since we kind of hit it off and had a few good laughs, it caught me by surprise so I accidentaly grabbed his fist with my hand. Kind of awkward but we laughed about it, still cringe about it a little bit tho

>he does it back to me

Sounds gay as fuck desu
