Recently picked this up, and it has increased in value. Is stainless steel sports Rolex the safest store of money? I’m basically getting paid to wear a Rolex.

>post what you find good looking
unique, classy, timeless look
60 years of price discovery

cmon anons, how old are you boomers? 40?

im in my early 20s, lol@wearing anything but sports steel watches. the oak is a 1970 classic.

>wonder what time it is
>need to stand uo to be able to pull the fucking brick out of the pocket
>check the time
>see notifications
>check the email, while it is in my hand
>missed calls from roastie
>not you again pls
was thinking like you, but as getting older (now 28), I am apreciating checking phone as little as posible and avoid distractions more and more.

>not having a smartwatch

Boomers i swear

I can only imagine this being worn by a pudgy hairy pajeet

22. I'll take an aesthetic watch over autism any day. This one isn't even expensive

“Bob what are you doing with my and chad’s watches? I thought you were planning on buying one?”

Only reason why rolexes are priced so high is because rolex themselves are placing bids on auctions etc, driving the price up.

>fake gold
literal junk on your wrist. looks horrible. ap or bust

Probably. The simple style dial is common in 'fashion watches'
Big fan of rose gold + blue dial and leather but they wanted steel so I posted that

>im in my early 20s, lol@wearing anything but sports steel watches.
kek, you just voiced the point I find so comical. You are too young, trying hard to stand out, yet not developed a unique personal style. You are literally buying the same fashionable shit that every single youngfag.
>be youngfag in first corporate job out of uni
>2years in, you get a first small promotion from boss
>I am a grown man now, need to look like one
>walks in 2 boutiques and takes out a fucking steel diver, the bigger, the better
When I go around offices in my corporate, I swear that every single fucking younfag has the same steel tumor on their wrist. like a gray herd they are.

>steel tumor
are you braindead user? oak jumbo is ultra thin. literally the thinnest steel model on planet earth

Attached: L1100809.jpg (1000x750, 162K)

pure class since 1970.

>calling a rolex an autism brick and posting plastic worthless garbage

actually lmaoing at ur life

Attached: laugh.jpg (450x312, 30K)

the best looking rolex imo, the best daily.

to be fair, you are right. This is a watch you need to be 43yo laid-back but sharp accomplished man with some silver on your head. I am just 28 so not there to wear such watch now. Now wearing pic related, flawless black dial longines flagship from 1968. The thing is, I searched the whole fucking internet, but was able to find only single other exemplar of this model, but with damaged dial and sold long ago. The thing is if you wanted the same watch as I have, you can put $10k on table and you simply wont be able to find such one.

Name of this piguet?

royal oak 15202

ما هو هذا؟

OH NONONONO

Yeah that makes sense. That's sweet, how do you come across these vintage watches? I'm partial to gs and vacheron, but not ready to drop that kind of money on material objects yet.

In the minds of wagies, their life depends on knowing what time it is at a moment's notice. Can't give Mr. Goldberg his IDF report late, or it reflects poorly on your performance review.

My dad gave me one of these for my 21st, it was my grandads. Didn't know how much it was worth but I'm never selling anyway so I suppose it doesn't matter. I'm 26 now btw

It's just jewelry for men. No big deal if that's what you spend money on but i don't value it

>GS
ah a man of culture I see

I somehow managed to pick up my longines for €350 few months ago. I had a custom automatic notifier on new listings on chrono24 and sniped this immediatelly as it was listed. Sometimes you get fucking double lucky by finding a clueless seller who does not know what he has and being the first one to spot that bargain.
I am euro, have trusty watchmaster who will completely service such watch just for €35 so I have advantage.
I have customized automatic notifiers on new listings set on chrono24, ebay and small local (czech) auction or online-fleamarket sites and simple 3minute routine each day for checking if something new and exceptional to my taste and budget appeared. Every few months I score a hidden gem for bargain, get it get it expertly restored for €35, keep it, or flip with good profit on chrono24.
If you like the style of my longines ,this movado currently on ebay could be to your liking: rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/332820955149

It depends really. If you're a neet you don't really need a watch.

Faggots.
