I'm so lazy. I lack all initiative. I can't do anything productive in my free time.
I am an ugly charismaless meek bore. I have had no friends or social experiences since school, no female attention ever, and I've never been to a pub, club, or party, even though I went to university.
Normies have easy lives. They simply float through normie filled institutions that judge them solely on normieness. I find interviews nearly impossible because I'm not posh or extroverted. Trying to be productive while sitting at home feels so cucky, it's unreal. Teenagers make millions on bitcoin. Chad and Stacey go to their City of London sinecures and then party every night. What the hell can I do at home? Learn programming? It's too late anyway. Thousands of people graduate from prestigious universities every year. They are all headed straight towards success.
My main hobby for the past 5 years has been driving or walking around the city while feeling sad about life, hoping my 20s spontaneously stop feeling wasted. I'm now 27. Life feels wasted. People my age are beginning academic careers or making 6 figures in silicon valley or investment banking or law. I have wasted incredible amounts of time on the internet.
I have binged on junk food almost every day for the past 3 years. I can't give up coffee either. It gives me an aimless energy.
Walking through hipster London areas like Shoreditch or Camden Town demoralised me to the extreme. Also with all the rich areas. Youth and money are everything.
How will I cope when I have to work 9-5? I've done it before and it was unbearable, even with a short commute. And most jobs are dead end jobs. You are either on the Oxbridge / public school to riches track or you are not. And so much money goes on rent.

fuck off normie
Evan Hall
i have been there for most of my life harsh truth is that youve done this to yourself
youll do better if you manage your investments less actively your gf will respect you more if youre more selfish your life will be better if you structure it so that youre happy people will like a happier, less giving version of you more
of course easier said than done
Ryder King
chekt. i'm 30 and in a similar situation. life is fuckin gay man.
Sebastian Mitchell
Holy fuck reading this unironically made me depressed. This must be some kind of mind control / psy op
Jordan Butler
That feeling when I am exactly in the same position as you, with the exact same circumstances, and exact same age.
Fucking hell.
Carter Gomez
Fucking shit coming of age during the global recession and stagnant bubble era eh m8?
I think about quitting this shit every day
Kevin Jenkins
you got to where you are because of your choices. maka a new choice to not crack? or maybe a choice to start over somewhere else, and leave it all behind.
Ethan Brooks
This. OP, why can't you be more of a fat loser incel NEET?
Oliver Wood
you don't understand user...
>not lazy, too much initiative >essentially a normie throughout school, couple fat gf's followed by a couple good looking ones >qt gf as I exited my teens, ended up enganged/married >40K a year job writing PHP @ 20 years old >bitch wife blows through it all >I refuse to have children until I'm wealthy >ends in divorce and me broke, got laid off from job in favor of indians copy/pasting code >spend last two years rebuilding portfolio, getting another job and banging my way through infosec/CS degree >starting to realize that normies have it bad and all hate themselves >tfw I do too now, realizing I've never actually had anything I wanted >realizing females have literally ruined my life because I thought they were the key to happiness >realizing I've never had an actual friend, everyone was just smoking/party buddies and work friends >realizing my family low key hates me because I look like my degenerate father who beat me and my siblings + my mom >literally always been alone, even when I was married or had gf >try making new friends in school with common interests but autistic CS/InfoSec kids are basically all edgy 4channers + just want to pick my brain for their homework since I started doing all this in 9th grade >have to payout even more money now to finalize divorce, bitch ex-wife has 0 money so I have to pay for whole thing
yeah user I'm getting there
Ryder Miller
basement fags.

You're not married to that job. If you're getting a rough deal, find a better one. Since this is likely taking up 40+ hours a week, make this a priority.
>manage a relationship This is another choice. If it's too high maintenance you can break up with her for a younger, lower maintenance girl or just forgo a serious commitment altogether for a few years until you get your shit together.
>have to find time somewhere for my family and my gf's family One of the biggest mistakes of my 20s was bailing out people making dumb financial decisions. Put your own oxygen mask first before attending to a bunch of other people or you will pass out.
Keep working out, not just for the physical reasons but because it will help with your mood and deal better with your worst days. Eating healthy is not hard work, if you think it is you've fallen for some advertising bullshit meme if you think otherwise. Eating crap will definitely make you feel like crap, just stop.
>trying to develop business ideas and side hustles Pick one and see it through. Even if it fails, you'll be more likely to actually succeed next time. A sure way to fail is to spend ages on "ideas" or start a thousand things and not even get close to finishing is a sure way to waste your time.
>have to actively manage a portfolio of my own investments Again your choice, pick an ETF/Mutual fund if you're really short on time.
>want children at some point which will be an added time sink Only if you do a shitty job raising them. I've been the best investment my blue collar parents ever made. They would still be wagecucking and in debt into their 60s if I wasn't born.
>bombarded with social media, advertisements, news, bullshit A choice you make every time you open a tab or check your phone. I got off facebook and other social media 5+ years ago. You know what I missed? Absolutely nothing. Your actual real friends will keep in contact with you and your fake friends effectively get deleted from your life.
Caleb Bennett
>just give up all your responsibilities, bro

>man, the world is really fucked up >well, user, why don't you just do x, y, and z >that's not the point bitch
Logan Bell
Woah that's the best definition of a turbo normalfag I've seen in a while. Just drive 12hrs to job interview at grant cardone salesteam, it will get better for sure.
Justin Reyes
Because I was 20 and retarded, unironically thought I had something to "prove" because both my father and grandfather were POS who beat their kids and wife.
Trust me, I won't make that mistake again
Wyatt Bell
same, but 31, and no gf (thank fucking god), but cryptos is my side hustle. also i cut all social media.
it gets harder and worse as time goes on. i did make almost triple the median household income by myself this year though.
Yes, informing people that they have choices in these matters is highly irresponsible! Better to go through life on autopilot and not make any hard choices, right? Wouldn't want to upset anyone, either.
No but I think I get what reminded you. "hard problem X? just do Y!" vibe. I used to date a chick who talked like that. I get that at least some of the choices I presented to OP aren't easy at all, especially the possibility of having to sit down your own family and tell them they're fucking up financially and bailing them out will only encourage them to make bad decisions. I didn't do that until I wasted 100k of hard earned money.
Blake Gonzalez

fuck that hits too close
END THIS KEKED SIMULATION
Ryan Cox
This I did that for far too long and now my situation is getting better, but I'm 30. Youth lost.
Jonathan Young
Dam, is it possible for you to take a week long break from the side hustles?
Ayden Sanders
that's why crypto is the best side hustle. trade alts 20 hours a day during the bull runs, then cash/convert alt gains and sit in BTC/ETH during the off season.
Anthony Bailey
>man my world is fucked >I gotta do x, y and z to fix this >ok it's still fucked but at least I'm not a cuck now Are you a woman?
Anthony Hughes
Holy shit I feel like I'm on my way to turning into you. I'm 22 now, struggling to find a job after finishing my Masters. I hope we both make it soon man.
Julian Edwards
>My main hobby for the past 5 years has been driving or walking around the city while feeling sad about life,
Sounds like something I'd do if I didn't live in a shithole.
Austin Hall
yeah my dad put me in debt for 50k then asked me what he should do, then proceeded to tell me to gtfo for a year and my mom works two shifts and her hair falls out, and I work two shifts minimum wage and even my fucking sleep is fucked up, and I struggle with basic shit, faggot
they threw me out and I slept in the fucking park for a week, and have no friends, literally nothing in my life other than the shit job I hate and I barely can even do
and Im an immigrant in the UK (slav)

I've had 3 long term (multiple year) gfs, believe me I know what I'm "missing out" on. maybe in a couple years I'll try again, but I'm not interested in the current 25+ female thot market.
Chase Cox
im 19 and fucking terrified of turning out like you(no disrespect)
how do i directly avoid this fate anons?
Isaac Martinez
>Have a good job >Have a GF >In shape >Have social life >Have wealth Fuck off normie.
Owen Nelson
I'm 28 and was headed the way that guy went. Basically you have to figure out your goals and work continously to get there. All the big things, break them down into small steps that you can work at every week. As long as you have a sense of purpose and feel that you are moving forwards in a meaningful way you will be happy, and probably proud of yourself too. I know I sound like a boomer fuck but after high school it is very easy to stagnate. There is no set path for you to take and you might drift in different directions for years and years without having anything to show for it.
Luke Baker
>want children at some point which will be an added time sink >in addition to all of this prefrontal cortex is relentlessly bombarded with social media, advertisements, news, bullshit Two things that are in your power to fix right now. >have to find time somewhere for my family and my gf's family You don't have to do shit. If you have time for your family, you have it; if not, they'll understand. As for your gf's family... Tell her it's not yours.
Jonathan Flores
thanks for that user
Hunter Ross
if you think life sucks when you are aimless in your 20's wait until you are 32.
do this. aim high and focus on the tasks that day. In 3 years you'll be superman
GET AFTER IT!!
I'm trying too bros
Christian Butler
You again. The guy who walks around London lmao So nothing has changed and you are still complaing? Have you read some books again?
Jacob Barnes
You should write a book , you're like a modern holden Caulfield
Easton Russell
How do you have a master's at 22
Connor Adams
You know, you don't really HAVE to do all those things right? No one is forcing you. This is why some people call you a normie. Normies always do what they're "expected" to do even if it makes them miserable or even burn out.
Robert Fisher
Birthdays in July, graduate in December but handed in my thesis in September.
I'm in the exact same boat, exact same age, exact same situation only I live in America. Everyday I do the same old bullshit routine with nothing actually coming out of it. My job is dead-end, I work far to much to ever apply myself to do anything spectacular or learn anything new. I've tried several "side hustles" that ended in nothing but a lot of wasted time and wasted money which furthered my path towards isolationism.
It's too late for me now and it's all my fault, but It's far too late to undo it. If I had chosen a field like online security or any type of programming I could be making millions working from home, but it's too late now because the market is flooded with kids fresh out of college that are far more successful and outgoing then me, or even worse pajeets who paid the equivalent of $5 on a fake degree that gives them a free pass here in America.
I just can't be fucked anymore. There is no point. There's no way out for someone like me.
Jaxson Myers
Stop thinking of yourself as trash and that you can never overcome what's going on in your life. Dont compare yourself to these "younger blah blah blah." Culture in America is poison. It is a prison for your mind. Unshackle yourself from your defeatist attitude and rise above. God did not make humans so they could lead miserable lives but lives of purpose. Find something productive, anything, that brings a sense of living/working with a purpose into your life. Things dont have to stay the way they are now for you, it is not too late.
Robert White
This post makes me want to leave my gf of 3 years.
I'm 23 and on the cusp of financial independence but she keeps wanting to move in and her family have been nagging her when she's getting married.
Welp, 31, and time to fight against burning out and work on my maths for the night.
Jace Jones
Fuck bro that sucks, but look you still have plenty of time to turn things around and be happy, don't compare yourself to silicone valley faggots. I would suggest joining a gym or something physical, you only have to make yourself go for 45 mins a day, if you don't work you should be able to do this. You'll feel happier and like less of a loser for sticking to a plan and not being lazy. As you would know exersize releases endorphines and makes you feel good, this will radiat into your everyday life. Good luck user keep your head up
Dylan Taylor
>28 Young >work a high pressure white collar job with demanding bosses and clients Being a corporate slave >have professional certs which I have to study in my own time Muh certs, muh degree >live with my girlfriend of 3 years and have to manage a relationship She should be the least of your worries >have to find time somewhere for my family and my gf's family Uhhh. >on top of this have to keep my body in shape and ensure my diet is reasonably healthy and balanced Then quit your sedentary lifestyle >expected to also maintain an active social life Not really. Your ego is something >trying to develop business ideas and side hustles Well, they all suck. >have to actively manage a portfolio of my own investments You dont have 8 figs in the bank like me, you arent going to make it >want children at some point which will be an added time sink Dont have children, you sound like a braindead retard >in addition to all of this prefrontal cortex is relentlessly bombarded with social media, advertisements, news, bullshit Dont use social media Dont watch tv

Thanks for motivating me not to become you, you're doing god's work!
Ryan Price
Good advice faggot, you sound really happy. Projecting much
Isaiah Flores
roughly same but 22. ive begun to focus on one thing (work) and let all else fall in place.
Grayson Bailey
>I'm an average upper middle class white guy living the life that society told me I'm supposed to live Fixed that for you. Also, I was the same as you a few years back (this life story is extremely generic). I decided to dump my gf, quit my job, and travel solo around the world for a year. Not saying thats what you should do but just realize you don't have to keep living like a robot just because its expected of you.
Josiah Clark
no way user. he should keep spending large portions of his life trying to impress/please people he doesn't even really like. that is the correct way to live.
Jacob Turner
You posted the very same crap in Jow Forums, get fucked.
Ryan Baker
>I decided to dump my gf, quit my job, and travel solo around the world for a year. wow, really original. what a rebel you are.
what's the next step of your master plan, getting a better job after being enlightened by your travels, marrying a "decent" woman your age, and starting a family?
