-opens his eyes and looks startes at himself in the mirror, this time directly in the eyes
-he suddently feels a focus and a fire that he hasn't felt since his first Karate competition when he was 12
-the fire burned for but a moment. Memories flood in. Visions of a brighter future. A Friend. A girlfriend. An appartment to call his own. A Job.
-reaches for his fedora, places it on his head slowly.
-with his thumb and forefinger, pinches the solid, thick brim
-and with a tug that he will forever remember, he tips the fedora with a conviction he will never forget....

And with that, Michael left his house with a pride and conviction he thought he'd lost. Finally he felt the feeling of freedom he's been longing for ever since his his parents left for the weekend three long years ago.
He grabbed his last bottle of Onions, his fedora, carrying only the clothes he was wearing, stormed out the door. His mother was left speechless.

Michael still lives in his parent's attic today. He unfortunately still hasn't gotten his first full bitcoin. However he did get a part-time job at the nearby McDonalds and is saving up for a down-payment for his own place.
