Inb4 I use Astrology as a tool for trading forex, futures and crypto markets.
However...
I do not rely on astrology alone First I use a neural network i programmed to do Technical analysis then I take that "signal" and do my own TA Then after that as my strong foundation. I look at the current astrology In financial astrology there is not clear buy/sell signals. only interpretations of wealth, luck, fortune, abundance. Things like that. Then after everything is lined up and I am confident I meditate and connect with my higher self to seek validation on whether or not I should be placing the trade at all.

How can you thoroughly backtest a strategy like this with such a discretionary factor. If you have figured that out, how does the strategy hold up when the astrology element is replaced with a control like flipping a coin?

None of this even holds half a candle to simply being able to read and understand the news and current climate.

I do not back test but I do do live tests and live trading. Both have been the most successful strats I have ever had.
So your strategy is just learning to play their game. Why not locate their rulebook instead of trying to reverse engineer it? Why not invent a new game
