Dr. Julio Faura, CEO of Adhara is also the executive director of the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance and head of R&D and Blockchain for Santander (Remember that ChainLink successfully demonstrated their (PoC) at SWIFT's Sibos conference in October 2017. The PoC pulled off-chain data (interest rates) from 5 banks (one of the banks being Santander) and fed it into a smart contract that calculated the bond coupon payment.
>Adhara provides blockchain-based Liquidity Management & Payments Solutions for the interconnected, tokenized future. Adhara is a real time, multi-currency global liquidity management and international payments platform based on tokenised currency, over a smart contract-enabled distributed ledger. Adhara offers a complete international payments platform for commercial banks that atomically clears and settles tokenized fiat payments with other network participants in real time with settlement finality and no reconciliations
Wall Street Blockchain Alliance just partnered with Accord Project today.
twitter.com/AccordHQ/status/1054742559950622720 >Moving forward, the two organizations will collaborate to develop and identify open source code and specifications, clear use cases, and best practices for smart legal contracts within the financial services space. They will also concentrate on the critical role that oracles play in the execution of smart contracts, focusing on how they can best be used to bring a diverse set of real-world data to automate contract performance.
Adhara has already had ties to using Chainlink. Its clear this oracle solution is gaining solid traction and potential in becoming the oracle standard of the industry. The question is, user, are you aware yet?
>Oracle is attempting to offer a wide variety of cloud services to compete more fully with AWS, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce and others who have a big head start in the cloud over Oracle.
6 threads so far you've spammed Ranjeesh! Keep it up

I'm a stinky, downright smelly, linkie, but LINK has nothing to do with cloud services, user.

They will be a tool for dev’s to develop on. The cloud will have access to everything and you can drag and drop APIs.

Just gonna post this here since it's the first thread on Chainlink I saw getting here. Remember the 20 minute talk with Sergey? Some people wondered who that Luke fella was that came to talk to Sergey and Steve. Well, he's from Sigma Prime. sigmaprime.io/

It will be interesting to see how it works with Google Kubernetes. Thats been in the tracker lately.

You're using an analogy that implies band-aids have no practical application. Please have an IQ above 80 if you're going to attempt to FUD the token that's going to trigger the 4th industrial revolution.

freightwaves.com/ bita.studio/ >BiTA was formed by experienced technology, transportation and supply chain executives to create a forum for the development of blockchain standards and education for the freight industry. BiTA’s goal is to bring together leading companies in the freight technology industries that have a vested interest in the development of blockchain technology.
This Freightwaves conference is huge for Chainlink. Real-world logistics/transportation is a massive, almost iconic, use case for oracles. The thin end of the wedge.

See the thing with this fud is that even if it is a band-aid solution to allow legacy banking systems communicate with smart contracts it will be in place for decades. Banks take for ever to modernize any of their systems. Especially systems that have been in place for decades. Look up how many ATMs still run Windows XP embedded.
Banks and Bankers aren't going to spend money they don't have to. They are going to keep using the systems they have always used while leveraging platforms like SWIFT, IBM, who in turn leverage Chainlink.
