>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy? Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
Here's how NOT to lose money during this period of high volatility: > Buy periodically, for example every month. If you can buy more often due to very low or no transaction fees, buy more frequently > Buy a fixed $ amount every time (f.e. $1000 every month) > Buy regardless of whether the market goes up or down, just do it every month > Diversify, buy index ETFs (MSCI World is a good example) > Put in additional capital (f.e. 1 month's worth) for every 10% drop > Don't expect to get rich quick, have an investment horizon of at least 20 years > NEVER SELL > Apply the above rules for 90% of your portfolio > Allow yourself 10% of your portfolio to do dumb shit like day trade, option gambling, meme stocks etc.

Why is Tesla in a constant state of insanity? 350 to 250 over and over
Owning tesla is pretty much worth it just to sell covered calls and puts I think. The IV and bonus of being the house for all the gambling going on makes Tesla so worth it

>>we can't sustain this kind of GDP growth unless we start accepting immigrants so we can have a larger labor force. we do accept immigrants, we are also getting tougher on illegal immigrants now
Look at the business, look at the dividend growth. Invest 60K with DRIP today and in 14 years you'll get 35K in dividends per year every year (if historical averages hold true).

Nice repeating digits. What's the rundown on this one?

Yeah because PG has the Pods monopoly. Colgate USED to sell laundry products

Trailing?
Juan Long
The story is nice but it doesn't consider being forced to sell at market low due to retiring/emergencies.

andrew left betrayed my puts. feels bad. it's very confusing because he is personally suing tsla for securities fraud
Kayden Brown
Really depends how you look at it. I took big shots and am okay in relation to the risk adjusted potential gains. Overall, nah.
Meaning I took a lot, a lot of shots at huge returns, and compared to that risk I'm okay now.

The Jews dont like musk after he named (((them))) on twitter.

That feel when you lose 10% last week and make 11% today...

Oh and Unilever and KMB are also OK
Parker Wright
It's a good feel.

Yeah but most of what Musk does is infrastructure related. Space/Cars/Tunnels. These just enable higher growth opportunities. He isn't in a position like google or facebook that would be an important thing to be controlled by institutions.
sorry to hear frand, i got raped last week but im not giving up. dollar cost averaging might be the best way for you. in fact i gamble with side money and max my ira every year and dont touch that shit.
Depends on the pattern of the rebound. If it sets a lower higher followed by bearish breake, then yeah, lower low is possible.

>literally down 10% over the past year on my non-US fund wtf?

>I sold everything this morning and went short. I lost everything today.
Quarterly reminder than going short after a significant retrace is the same as going long after a significant pump.

>volume is coming now What do you mean? Volume on the S&P 500 is at 2B which is already higher than it's been the previous days and we still have an hour to go.
