Biz,
Can you recommend any good books on negotiation techniques, strategies apart from the Art of War and the 48 laws of power?
Also I have to take part in a lot of negotiations and my palms get sweaty when anxious which is shit when shaking hands, how to stop that?
Negotiation tactic advice
Yes, consider looking up the book tilted "How to commit brutal suicide with your lawnmower"
Checked, thread officially blessed by Kek.
You dumb. Thank me later
Alright will check out thnx
Fekin bump, answer me faggots
>Sweaty palms
Wash your hands 3x a day with lemon juice
I know about one way you can test someone. Somewhere in the conversation you switch how you sit, like cross your leg or something and see what the person you're negotiating does. If he starts mirroring you, you have the upper hand.
Thanks, will try the lemon. U mean lemon juice extract diluted with water, or lemony soap or just squeezing lemons on ur hands and washing it?
As for the mirroring, I am aware of this one, thanks
about two hours before your meeting eat hard-boiled eggs, some toast, a some bacon, and drink warm beer. Do some jumping jacks to get it nice and active.
upon entering the room let loose with the loudest "my insides are rotting" fart you can.
This will establish dominance.
You're welcome.
squeeze a lemon out on your hands, rub it in and wash it of.
Checked. Pic related for negotiation strategies so powerful you can use it on market participants who are quite literally out to fuck you up the arse
Thanks will also make sure to look into their eyes while releasing the fart
Thanks fren, will try
Make sure to address everyone in the room you're negotiating with. You can also make up some gestures that describe your keywords and gesture them as you're speaking these keywords.
As far as I've heard, the book isn't even written by Trump and it's complete normie/brainlet tier advise.
What about business asociates who know these 'guidebooks' in and out. I hate people that come to me with their '101 how2 biznizz' talk, they're very easy to see. Just like this guy However, most people are idiots and susceptible to these simple pyschology tricks that alot of the times it works.Maybe it just depends on how good of an actor you really are.
Biggest mistakes I made in business is wanting to be 'a good person'. Wanting that you and your partner get an equal and fair share. Unfortunatly most humans are filthy scumbags who are out to get the most OUT OF YOU and playing fair isnt something thats in their wordbook. To those people, that IS business, nothing wrong with it. You'll always lose or gain less than the other guy. Be careful with being kind and fair. Experience is your best guide.
Never Split the Difference
Smart advice, I have to be vigilant with this as I tend to lean towards the nice, kind side, which isnt to my adavantage in business. Thank you.
What do you do? Any books on body language, strategy you recommend?
that bulge
check out Chris Voss - Never split the difference
It's hard for me too, I still have this 'childish' outlook on my fellow man, where I somehow still see something nice and their eyes. I look for partners for a lifetime, not fags who you make a little money with and then part ways. They're very hard to find.
Body language is a pretty standard thing, we're living in a monkeyworld and sometimes you have to speak a monkey language. Shoulders and back straight, chin up, when you enter the room ENTER THAT FUCKING ROOM. Dont slouch, no need to make constant eye contact like a retard but dont avoid it either. Same with smiling, GOD I hate those over the top corporate gaysmiles, yes you can smile but dont be damn fag about it. Learn to keep your emotions inside and never ever let someone push you over the edge. Think twice before you speak etc etc etc.
Again bro, experience is your best guide. You can read a 1000 books and sure, you'll learn. But doing shit, falling on your face, crawling back up, dust off the shame, learn from what you did and what happened and keep on truckin'
Never

You seem like a cool guy. How old are you and what do you do?
Thanks
