Lmao look at that massive drop LINK took. Linkies will try and defend this, but we know they got BTFO!!!!!!!
Sad!!!!!!!!!
LINK BTFO
Well it is pretty amazing what happened.
>huge partnership out of nowhere
>anemic little pump
>immediately followed by slow dump that completely reverses the pump
And as far as we can tell it's still dumping, and if it does, it'll be like the Web3 partnership was BAD news.
Cool, just bought 100k more
I mean sure a lot of the gains from that 27% pump were reeled back, but it is up 15% over 3 days on the ETH pair
What does web3 even do anyways? Most of Link's partnerships have been with no name backend companies that only blockchain nerds know about. Openlaw, ZeppelinOS, Accord? Never fucking heard of them before, and to be honest I think these companies need Link more than Link needs them. These are just tiny little blockchain legal companies that are fucking useless without Link since without Link what's the fucking use of putting anything on blockchain anyways. BTC, ETH, LINK and maybe XMR. That's it, that's blockchain, anything else is a worthless joke with no use case. What is the purpose of blockchain companies existing without Link?
What do Link's partnership companies like web3 even fucking do?
>but it is up 15% over 3 days on the ETH pair
All ETH gains are almost back to zero too.
It boggles the mind that, even during an uptrend for Link, huge partnership news does nothing other than a little bump.
It's a project by Gavin Wood, one of the main guys behind ETH who invented Solidity.
>what is web3
>web 3.0
You’re actually retarded and don’t deserve to invest in crypto. Just sell your shitcoins and don’t come back
>what is a new support
goddamn newfags are so annoying.
So the price before the pump was the new support?
Also, no support in sight yet, it just keeps trending down at the exact same rate.
look at that chart. stink was a perfect alt play for the summer bear
does it really boggle the mind though? there's no reason for the token to exceed $1. The code is all open source. A shadow fork is actually a real concern that linkies willfully ignore.
Chainlink is trying to build a public oracle, but companies want privacy. SGX won't cut it when companies can just run a fork of chainlink on their own machines at all of their physical branch locations around the world.
Doing this they'll be able to get more decentralization cheaper and they won't have to worry about privacy issues. Linkies are retarded if they think a public oracle solution will exceed 350 mil market cap.
lol
>there's no reason for the token to exceed $1
There's no reason for Bitcoin to exceed $1 either.
Or Amazon stock.
You're a retard.
>Chainlink is trying to build a public oracle
You have no idea what you're talking about.
This desu. Anyone who thinks LINK will exceed its use beyond pathetic crypto startups is retarded. Big business can decentralize their data to the point where it's safer and cheaper to run oracles privately than publicly, also obviously it's private which is a huge advantage over LINK. If you look a bit deeper into chainlink you realize it's a bandage solution and most likely only viable for experimenting blockchain startups.
>There's no reason for Bitcoin to exceed $1 either.
>Or Amazon stock
Yeah because bitcoin and amazon are exactly the same thing as chainlink /s
>You have no idea what you're talking about.
Do you know what chainlink is? Have you even read the whitepaper? It's a public oracle provider. The tech is open source i.e. not patented. Anyone can take the tech and run it in a private environment. Companies are building their own private blockchains as we speak. What makes you think they won't use private forked chainlink tech as well?
>Swift
>noname backend company
Checked. I honestly find it hard to believe that there are more than a couple dozen retards who bought link thinking big banks would use a public oracle to handle extremely sensitive info (like billion dollar transaction info lmfao)
>Yeah because bitcoin and amazon are exactly the same thing as chainlink /s
I didn't say they were the exact same.
>It's a public oracle provider.
You're in the wrong place if you think "decentralized" is the same as "public".
>The tech is open source i.e. not patented
fucking lmao
patents.justia.com
Not only are you clueless about Chainlink, but also about the very basics of the topic.
it seems pretty stable now, is 6k the new normal?
>price going down
>fud going up
Thanks for the buy signal, discordbros
Checked and this. I bought req and link when I was a crypto noob but you have to learn from your mistakes, only invest in the big 4.
this is the state of linktards right now
>You're in the wrong place if you think "decentralized" is the same as "public".
The tech involves decentralization and intel sgx. The 'public' part refers to the fact that it is an oracle that the general public can use.
>patents.justia.com
sorry, but which one of these patents describes chainlink? Chainlink is open source you absolute mongoloid.
>keeps trending down
jesus fucking christ it's been only two days since it hit its local ath, have some patience to call something "trending down". this could very well be a correction for all we know
Chainlink is literally a scam HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>what is volume
pumps happen with strong volume, dumps with low volume. just look at the charts brainlets.
>The 'public' part refers to the fact that it is an oracle that the general public can use.
The same applies to safe boxes.
>sorry, but which one of these patents describes chainlink?
All of them.
>Chainlink is open source you absolute mongoloid.
It's actually kinda cute how ignorant you are.
Well not 'ignorant', just plain stupid at this point.
>/s
You have to go back, faggot!
I know it's only been two days.
But the trend channel for those two days is absolutely linear. Even if only for two days.
>pumps happen with strong volume, dumps with low volume
Oh I agree.
We're currently at 1/7th of the pump volume.
Still, it's baffling that the entire pump has been wiped out at this point.
>The same applies to safe boxes.
Right because you would use a safe box to hold a billion dollars worth of bonds and derivatives. lmfao
Intel sgx has proven it is vulnerable to attack. arstechnica.com
Trusted hardware my fucking ass. This shit will not be trusted when the privacy of billions is on the block, especially when the code is open source and easily made private.
Once again, as usual, OP is an insufferable brainless retard with a dick the size of an oat.
>/s
Swift, is that the organisation Chainlink did the POC with 2 years ago now?
>sad
Stupid memechild detected. Opinion discarded.
>Right because you would use a safe box to hold a billion dollars worth of bonds and derivatives. lmfao
Well yes.
That's what people do.
>Intel sgx has proven it is vulnerable to attack
There's more to hardware enclaves than Intel SGX. If you had read the whitepaper, you'd know that. They're just the most advanced at the moment.
>especially when the code is open source
Still as clueless as a turd with a question mark toothpick flag.
Protip: pretty much all servers in the world run on Linux, which is open source.
Welcome to link where the shills are small bag holders, the fudders are massive bag holders with iron hands and the only people who aren't certain it will moon are the people with no bags at all.
10k eoy
People on this shit board only look at the 5 min candles.
>We're currently at 1/7th of the pump volume.
>Still, it's baffling that the entire pump has been wiped out at this point.
I think it's funny, that pump had huge volume, still went almost nowhere and got completely wiped out the next day. it literally created the next generation of Link bagholders.
So fucking many people bought Link during that pump and every single one of them is bagholding now. Kek. The resistance to climb back up through all that is gonna be hard.
What makes you think "so many fucking people" bought spud? Could have been one and you wouldn't have a clue
Possible. Either way someones bagholding a fuckton. I warned people not to buy during the pump the other day and still I saw faggots saying they were moving money to exchanges to jump in mid pump. Fucking kek. I think they deserve bagholding to be honest.
Or they're thinking long term, you cuck.
No one thinking long term panic buys into a pump with huge market orders, that is short term rushed thinking and retarded. I am 99% sure it was a few dumber whales and thousands of dumb little linklets buying the other day.
>No one thinking long term panic buys into a pump with huge market orders
There was a partnership with Web3.
This likely informed and convinced people of the legitimacy of Chainlink, prompting them to make a long-term decision.
Maybe one day you'll understand, after your voice changes.
>long term
>R:R is what
>buy top of short term mega dildo with all indicators exhuasted
>”long term”
>fomo in short term
See Not everyone is a TA-sucking, witching rod-swinging, spirit crystal-chewing new age faggot.
Also, very few people bought the top. That's why it was the top; people stopped buying.
people here unironically think swing trading is selling after a pump and buying minutes later after it goes down like 50 sats. It's why they always complain about the volume.
>muh web3 partnership
Ah yes, the partnership that caused a 4 hour pump and an ongoing 2 day long dump that completely wiped the former out. What a partnership.
Long term investors DCA, absolute retards FOMO in at the top with their entire stack. What kinda retard needed web3 to legitimize chainlink int he first place though, if you hadn't bought before that you are a goddamn moron beyond saving.
>iron hands
honestly what did gamefreak^tm mean by this?
Lol, the volume was insane. A lot of ppl did
>>Ah yes, the partnership that caused a 4 hour pump and an ongoing 2 day long dump that completely wiped the former out. What a partnership.
Imagine being such an absolute brainlet that you judge the merit of a partnership on the resulting price action.
Web3 is huge. Deal with it.
>Long term investors DCA, absolute retards FOMO in at the top with their entire stack.
See and >What kinda retard needed web3 to legitimize chainlink int he first place though
Chainlink is very much an unknown to tons of people, even in crypto.
How old are you, user?
If "a lot of ppl" bought the top, it wouldn't be the top.
The top is the top because "a lot of ppl" stopped buying.
Lmao. Look at hourly candles. It was at 7-7.6 for a while with hugr volume.
A lot of ppl bought the top.
Why are Link bagholders so disingenuous? Yeah not many people bought at 7500 sats obviously, but fuckloads bought over 7k sats and fucking huge amounts bought over 6k sats. Pretty much everyone of them is bagholding right now except the guys who got in in the first 2 minutes of the pump.
Right so you are just gonna be a retard. Well I guess your purposeful ignorance of TA has resulted in you being a bagholding faggot. You judged that web3 would be big enough to result in a bull run, and look at you now, your holding heavy bags. Bet you wished you took notice of those tea leaves now you stupid fuck.
Who would win Jow Forums? A web3 partnership or a little bandy boy?
It was over 7k for a total of a few minutes.
The top is the top because people stop buying.
>Yeah not many people bought at 7500 sats obviously, but fuckloads bought over 7k sats and fucking huge amounts bought over 6k sats.
We were talking about "the top"
If the phrase had been "tons of people bought the pump", then sure.
But very few people ever buy "the top" of anything.
That's what makes it the top.
>You judged that web3 would be big enough to result in a bull run
Web3 is huge, regardless of whether it causes a bull run or not.
Even unmonetized projects can have huge partnerships. Crazy, right?
>your holding heavy bags
I have unironically never been in the red on Chainlink.
>Who would win Jow Forums? A web3 partnership or a little bandy boy?
Imagine being such a massive trenchbrain that you judge partnerships on the resulting price action.
How fucking autistic are you. Lmao. Ofcourse only 1 person or so buys the literal top. Holy fucking shit you retard nobody is talking about that whwn we say the top. We are saying the top level.
How do you even breathe?
You and your pals are idiots. Link is up over the past 30 days. Kek.
>Ofcourse only 1 person or so buys the literal top.
Exactly. And few people buy the general "top".
It's just funny to me when faggots try to make things seem even worse than they actually are by implying everyone involved in the pump bought the top.
>I-i-IT WAS ONLY A FEW MINUTES!!!
Why lie user? We can all just go check the charts. Look I'll go do it right now-ohhh no no no no no THE SECOND BIGGEST VOLUME CANDLE HAPPENED 100% OVER 7k FUCK FUCK FUCK
HAHAHAAHAH AHAHAHAHAA
Im disagreeing with you. You are pedantic. Maybe autistic. How do you not undsrstand what the top means in the context we are discussing?
Many ppl purchased the top level. Huge volume.
Google Gavin Wood dipshit, you think him and his team are signing up to partner with a scam?
That pic confirms it.
And I was talking about the aggregate of exchanges.
>FUCK FUCK FUCK
>HAHAHAAHAH AHAHAHAHAA
Again, how old are you?
SAY IT WITH ME Jow Forums!
HIGHER HIGHS
>LOWER LOWS!
>How do you not undsrstand what the top means in the context we are discussing?
Because the implication was everyone involved in the pump bought the top.
You retard.
How shit is your life that this is what you focus energy on. Bahahaha, what an absolute fucking brainlet. Remember later on in life this is what you wasted time on
Wrong quote breh.
Nope. You seem to be the only user who interpreted it that way
Did this picture cause the drop?
1 year ago Link was 52 cents! Now it can't even pump past 46 cents with a web3 partnership. LOWER HIGHS LOWER LOWS FUCK ZOOM OUT PEOPLE LINK IS ON AN OVERALL DOWNTREND!
Fuck wrong picture,
I meant this?
See pic you turbocuck.
The other retard was talking about people buying "during the pump" and "in the middle of the pump", and you turned that into them buying "the top".
>1 year ago Link was 52 cents!
Link was 24 cents one year ago.
Also, that's not how trends work lol.
This is what happens in a bear market. The fact we've gone up 70 ranks in a 3 month uptrend in this market is what matters
>LOWER HIGHS LOWER LOWS FUCK ZOOM OUT PEOPLE LINK IS ON AN OVERALL DOWNTREND!
Hahaha imagine actually believing this.
>Doubled in value since Jul
>Downtrend
Imagine being this retarded.
How in the fuck do you think DApps get built retard?
>Hurr durr...these back end companies are worthless nobodies.
Seriously sell all your crypto then kys.
Yes you fuck. Have you actually been watching the charts at all? Newsflash. This is how LINK works.
>LINK is sideways
>Pumps 25%
>Retraces 10-15%
>Repeat steps again
How in the fuck can't you noobs see this? It's like a fucking step ladder to the singularity.
>Bought REQ
>he unironically watches the 5 min charts
Volume has been decreasing each pump user, each week that Link goes up we are getting less and less volume, which means the uptrend is not a healthy one and a reversal could happen soon. Then instead of new floors you'll be getting new ceilings.
You miss my point completely. I'm not saying they aren't necessary. I am saying they are no name backend companies no ones fucking heard of before.
>Seriously sell all your crypto then kys.
I disagree, I think he should kys first, to act as coin burn.
How about you zoom out yourself and stop watching the 1 day charts and start looking at the monthly. The uptrend is weakening and we are due for a reversal any time now.
4 months up in a row, this is Links longest uptrend ever, we are getting less volume each month which signals weakness in the uptrend. We are encountering previous resistance points in the price which Link will bounce off beginning a new downtrend. Think of elliot wave theory. This is wave one, it's just about over now, we are about to enter into wave 2 which will be a 1-2 month long downtrend. We could easily retest 4k sats or even lower.
Don't put all your eggs in TA, user. Mainnet could be announced any time and you will be out while the price skyrocket.
You want to know why volume is decreasing with each pump? Because there's nothing to buy at a good price. Only smart people are buying LINK right now while small time swing traders are trying to make a stack for themselves. Smart investors aren't buying the top of these pumps. They let the swing traders take their profit, then they wait for the retrace to buy more. Also, Chainlink isn't even advertising it's existence yet. Think about that.
Of course no one has heard of these projects before and they don't need to. They aren't for normies to buy into.
Fuck I fat fingered this is the one I wanted to respond.
>emotional LINK response
>NPC.jpg
Not gonna happen, but I hope you are right so I can buy more. LINK has no reason to go down before mainnet as more people find out what it is as it climbs the CMC ranks. A mainnet dump will likely happen, unless there's some crazy announcements by big players saying they will utilize the network. That probably won't happen. They'll likely be a couple months of slightly down or sideways after that until usage picks up from projects coming online using the network.
Yeah you are talking about me user, I am one of those smart investors not buying these recent pumps. It's just getting too expensive. I've got a growing fiat stack of paychecks sitting around now because I stopped buying.
You know what happens when it gets too expensive. Well the trend reverses and the price returns to where the volume is.
I would never sell all of my stack but Mainnet wont be a surprise release either.
It absolutely will, to stay healthy the price has to retrace down sooner or later. It likely wont test new lows, but will test previous resistance points and floors, before starting the third wave and resuming up again around January next year.
bullish af post
this is an average crypto normie
we truly are the innovators right now
they won a contest
Link continues to be one of the best crypto investments this year. Stay mad, salty, etc. and remember that this board was full of people saying not to buy link at 4500 sats just a couple weeks ago
Well, either way. You know it's going up. It either continues to go up now or it doesn't, but it definitely will be higher than where it is now in q1 of 2019. There's too much happening.
>mfw i sold the top
Still going to sell until about .38. Then going to buy the bottom out. Thanks guys
Imagine the desperation of discord swing traders, LMAO. Imagine the stress. Sitting here with 160k link sipping cocktails
So you are definitively saying no more link pumps until January? Lol. Ok bro
Here's what I think happened to them. If you look at the one hour charts you can see that LINK pumped from 5.5k up to 6k sats just before the conference. 6k was their target and they dumped because you always sell the news-- the RSI looked to be maxed out, and that would be the end of the pump.
But then out of nowhere Sergey himself announces the Web4 partnerships (for whatever that's actually worth) and basically let's it slip that mainnet is ready. LINK pumps to 7,5K and then begins to retrace. These faggots got BTFO, just like they did in at the end of Sept, and once again their shitting up this board, as if it makes a difference at all.
It's almost funny watching them but it's a big waste of my time reading all this BS.
Yeah but all the news ends in about a week. The last conference is the devcon one on the 31st. There might be some small things after that but nothing big anymore, so the news will dry up and I think the news and hype for incoming conferences was a lot of what supported the recent pumps, and not just talking about the one the other day, but the jump from 4k to 5k and that price holding was people anticipating these conferences having good news.
If you just think we will go up forever and never have a red month again. I mean even on the weekly there have only been 4 red candles out of 14 candles. Do you think this is sustainable?
We've got to have a pullback eventually or it will become a very unhealthy uptrend.
I can smell the anxiety through all of their inane TA babble.
Notice how they make definitive statemetns rather than saying 'i think this will happen'.
This is how the get just'd in the first place. Lead pajeet tells them 'sell the news, there will be nothing', and then they get BTFO and sit here making 15 replies ITT telling you that the price is certainly going down in the future.
>I think the news and hype for incoming conferences was a lot of what supported the recent pumps
What supported the recent pumps and uptrend in general was news like partnerships and new major exchange etc.
