Mac Mining

I've got an old macbook pro 2013 being useless for a while, what would be the best coin to mine with it?

You would be paying more money for the electricity than it’s worth to mine.

Nimiq

But it's moms electricity so I don't care just want more linkies

How much linkies can I mine in a day

this.

I have a couple of old laptops that I brought to work and have them mining Link, no one will notice since I'm IT and they will just think it's old office equipment lol.

How much do you mine per laptop/day?

Except electricity doesn't appreciate in value so you may end up covering the costs and making profits in the future.

>mining

Shit, I forgot it's an ERC20 token

Fuck off & die you dumb little faggot, you mine-fudders act like a laptop sucks down gigawatts/hr. Would you think twice about leaving a laptop on otherwise?
Op, prolly monero or turtle

actually winter is the best season for laptop mining desu

>mining with a Mac
Enjoy a warped motherboard.
Macs are made for browsing Facebook, using Word and maybe some light video editing.

>and maybe some light video editing.

>thinks video editing is 'light'

Editing 240p

I once killed a mac mini in film studies trying to render a 1080p 60 fps one hour video for a final assignment in high school, the teacher thought the mac could handle it, needless to say it thermal throttled to 1.2 ghz and the mobo fried. We gave it to the engineering class to "fix it" it came back with wood glue and screws drilled into it. The teacher had to pay outta pocket for it.

Lmao

Sell it and buy LINK. A 2013 model should you get $500–$800 depending on the specs

J s e

You'd probably make more money selling it, kek
Just run a chainlink node. It's literally like mining bitcoin in 2010

Sell it. Macfags will still pay for dated HW as long as it has a piece of fruit on the back that lights up. Then you can just buy whatever longshot low market cap shitcoin you want.
It isn't worth CPU mining unless it is free elec or the HW was free and energy costs are negligible.

Nothing unless you have free electricity

If free electricity XMR

If only i understood this concept in 2010

some time next year they are saying zilliqa might be good to mine

Sell it for a couple hundred and invest whatever you get. If you try to mine for any considerable amount of time, you'll just fry it when it inevitably has thermal issues.
