How much do you boys earn? How much do you manage to save each week? What do you pay in rent/weekly expenses? Are you optimistic about your financial future?

Not too optimistic, I have no idea what's actually happening with brexit.

Its all bullshit i think boyo, all smokescreens. What do you do for work? have any savings?

Self employed programmer. Have savings to live off for a couple of years but not beating inflation yet.

putting 1000gbp into vanguards a month, I dunno how I feel going forward, I want to leave this shithole as soon as possible but I don't know where to go

Can't we just cancel brexit...? Like its obviously a mistake and ruining this country.

15k
Spend it all on bud
No savings
Take out loans for crypto
Monthly expenses ~750
Rest on bud
I steal from work about 400pm

Moving country and never coming back, fairly optimistic.

7.39 an hr temp job until Christmas

Gonna leave this country and never come back

>The country wasn't in shambles before any talks of a referendum

The culture erosion doesn't even enter the minds of the sociopaths in charge, it's all about GDP to them.

Why do all brits hate their country

not all. most don't live in the comfy areas.

Keep blaming the EU for your mistakes that will fix them fucking dirty teethed losers lol, its Brussels fault you were taking in shitloads of niggers and pakis before you even got into the union.
Let me remind u of the 'rivers of blood' speech that happened in '68

From the US. Went to UK university and graduated in 2001. Pretty shitty university. Got a "2nd class" honors. Shitty programmer. Barely work. Always work from home.

Making $130K plus bonuses. 401Ks and IRAs stuffed to the brim.

Just learned some people I graduated with are making ₤40K. Almost choked on my coffee.

Funny Britfags are always making fun of us. The fucking cope.

Its an inherent self depreciating trait combined with an actual erosion of community, social mobility and security. Too much immigration too fast & an elite determined to ensure the lower class stay there.

I love many things about my country, the scenery, certain institutions, some of the culture & even some of the people. But for a young person its pretty easy to see its becoming harder and harder to progress, and the top dogs don't want to help. Corruption and collusion is rife, with smiles on faces all the while.

The government already spent an absurd amount of money on Brexit and it would be anti-democratic. The majority of people voted out because they were too dumb to spot the propaganda so now they must deal with it. It's a good example on why democracy is one of the worse systems I have seen, so fucking flawed.

Depression from lack of vitamin D (It's always cloudy), Highest divorce rate, pakis.

I went to Japan for 3 months and feel like England is 3rd world now.

Japan was clean, homogeneous, and felt way safer than any of our cities. Walking around Tokyo alone, regularly in the early hours and I never felt unsafe. The worst I ever saw was some homeless minding their own business.

I refuse to go to London in my lifetime but I have been to Manchester and there are beggars fucking EVERYWHERE and plenty of Burkas.

Tokyo and Osaka... None of that shit.

Pretty much what this fat burger said. You get cucked at every opportunity. Its easier to go elsewhere. Its not that I hate my country, I just know Ill be better off elsewhere.
A lot of brits say they'll leave but they don't they have stockholm syndrome, the UK is comfy if you want to just bumble along, its not favourable to the ambitious working class.
I am actually leaving, next week and the jobs Im going for pay £10 ph more than my current.

Life here is fucking horrible. Our country has become such an overwhelming Orwellian mess and the majority of people are willfully ignorant/supportive of all the destructive practices that take place.

I'm waiting for my Blockfolio to go back to January December numbers cashing out and going back to Asia.

Might checkout homogeneous countries that don't have a problem with Pakistan rape gangs and acid attacks in East Europe on the way to further my masochism.

The weather is shit, the food is shit, healthcare is shit (you have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment) and social mobility is an illusion. Employers and society in general judges you based on the university you went to and your job. In order to get a high paying job, you must go to a top university. In order to go to a top university, you must go to a private school. In order to go to a private school, you must be upper class (mostly some aristocrat). It's probably the only country where people still look up to some irrelevant count or duke as if it was still the feudal fucking age. If you aren't upper class then enjoy your life of mediocricy.

Earning about £1,500p/m after tax, pension, private healthcare is all taken out. I have minimum outgoings because I'm silver spoon af. I save about £1,000 - £1,300 of my wage per month.

I'm going to put my savings into gold before Brexit. There is always scope for earning during financial uncertainty.

your rant about jobs and top universities is bollocks.
accept your own failures and realise the reason you haven't got a good job is because you haven't got a skill that's worth paying your time for.
I'm tired of this irresponsible bull shit where "it's the government's fault I'm not paid well", the only fault is your fucking own.

Engineer. £55k.

Obviously I hate Britain and British people. Idiots have fucked the country the country for the next few decades. We look like idiots.

>Employers and society in general judges you based on the university you went to and your job. In order to get a high paying job, you must go to a top university. In order to go to a top university, you must go to a private school. In order to go to a private school, you must be upper class (mostly some aristocrat)
Utter fucking rubbish, get a grip. It's absolutely nothing to do with class; it's because schools push absolutely every child in the country towards university from the very beginning. Of course the only degrees that employers care about are those earned by the cream of the crop -- EVERYONE FUCKING HAS ONE. Are you dense enough you think it should be otherwise???

I (and most of my uni friends) wish we'd all left school and gone into trades. Kids are lied to their whole academic careers so universities can profit. It's not related to class whatsoever it's the institutional schooling system that shuns trades and genuinely profitable skills in favour of keeping people under the supervision and education of the state for as long as possible.

Accountant, £30k.

Unlucky enough to grow up in an expensive as fuck city where rent for a 1 bedroom flat clocks in at around £900 - £1,100.

Moved further North to escape being trapped as a rentcuck. Even then £30k is fucking nothing after taxes and living expenses. I've made more money from trading shitcoins and metal ETFs in the last year than selling my time / labour for money.

I have one last shot in Spring with a business idea me and a friend have. We're going in to pitch for funding to an accelerator. Otherwise I am heading 1,500 East forever with my squatlana grillfriend.

What are the best brokers for Brits? I have £5,500 to invest. Also, how much does the capital gains tax fuck us over?

u wanna invest in stocks at the peak?

Brothers any advice?

I want to move away from here soon. Right now im a minimum wage cuck trading a couple markets making more than my wages. Dont want to depend on that though.

Im naturally computer savy and consider getting educated formally(degree) in computer science. Honestly is it worth it now? Im 24.
Would i be better off getting my own experience? Someone told me to get into cloud computing.
I also considered oursuing finance but it makes no sense financially to me atm, its just a lucrative thing to chase.

Ideal situation:
Passive income, able to move to cheaper country better than this shithole. Own business or ability to generate money anywhere.

Self employed aircraft consultant. Earn approximately 9k per month after tax, saving around 50-60k per year. Feels good man.

Us wagecucking at 11$ an hour and 70 hrs a week which after taxes is about 1300 a month and spend 750 on rent .. I’m 20 and starving and hopefully will start making money other ways very soon like crypto and other ways that I just need some startup money for

Dev work in UK is full meme now lad. Unless you are a pajeet or female who wants to be a scrum leader / agile project lead with absolutely zero knowledge of coding forget about it.

Go to Estonia for tech start up life.

>2 weeks for an appointment
So are people just LARPing or is my GP fucked up? You literally can't book appointments more than 2 weeks ahead of time at mine.

postcode lottery, in my leafy countryside village I can get appointments a few hours later, some wog cities takes forever

if you're better than everyone else and can lead, you will shine. if not, then you'll just be a code monkey following tickets like any wagecuck

I self studied it for a while. I know agile and some basic coding language and web development. I feel like this knowledge is about as useful as your creativity. Like knowing maths but needing someone to tell you what to do with it to make money, fairly useles on its own.

Thts why i dont think i can make it working for someone with dev. Just slightly more than min wage. Making my own apps and projects till i get a winner is probably the way to go? Marketing is everything i suppose.

Im fairly fucked. So hard not to just move somewhere cheap and try make it trading till i have capital to invest in reliable passive income generators.

Is it cheaper? What kind of qualifications needed? Would experience and a portfolio be enough?

At 24 i feel its too late for me to try make it witu conventional means. Gotta do something different

I'm talking about this, faggots: mygreatbritishadventure.com/2016/03/14/is-england-really-the-most-class-ridden-country-under-the-sun/

Also, yes the government has some fault in how flawed the British education system is. Public education is much shittier compared to private education which hinders your chances into getting into a good uni. It's almost like pay to win. The funny thing is crap unis cost as much as good unis so the logic choice is to try to get into the top unis. And also yes, plenty of employers still care about whether you went to a prestigious uni or not. It varies from company to company but the best paying jobs in some fields are taken by Russel group graduates. Compared to other educational systems like Finland, Germany and Netherlands, UK is a joke. Funny if you point out the flaws then you are accused of being some whiny entitled faggot. I don't have a job because I don't want to and that's why I'm on a crypto board, otherwise I would probably move to Netherlands or something.

Honestly I said 2 weeks because that's the average where I live, sometimes takes a week. It's still frustating whether it's a week or 2 anyway because in other EU countries, you have an appointment on the same day. You pay but it's worth it. What if you have some pain and must wait a week? NHS is underfunded though so can't blame them.

employers hire you based on your competency, the way to win is either study a degree with work placement for an easy job entry point in your profession or by going straight into trade/apprenticeships.
just because you went to university and studied some no job degree like biology of business studies, don't deflect blame on to anything else than yourself.
yes, the university system may be completely fucked, but it's YOUR FAULT for not understanding that before you got 30k in debt studying a degree that would lead to nothing.

>I'm going to put my savings into gold before Brexit.

just buy the btc dip you melon

>Public education is much shittier compared to private education which hinders your chances into getting into a good uni
Only if you take public education as a whole. It's totally misleading to compare the two statistically, considering how ridiculously few private schools there are compared to public. It's also irrelevant.

If you look at most schools in the country, what determines the quality of education is almost invariably the house prices around them. Social mobility has been destroyed for the last few decades. THAT is where the inequality of our education system lies, it has nothing to do with public vs. private, which is an utterly ridiculous and outdated argument for schooling, and also nothing to do with class (though clearly more affluent people will go to areas they can afford and raise the prices, exclusivity, and quality).

If you want to fix Britain's schooling the first step you should take is to get rid of this utterly ridiculous idea that university is a panacea for our society, and bring back grammars (or at very least encourage young people to learn skills and trades that will set them for life and allow them to earn substantial amounts).

go with a Stock and share ISA like Vanguard, you pay no capital gains tax and you can withdraw £20k tax free every year.

>what determines the quality of education is almost invariably the house prices around them
Sorry, didn't mean determines. What determines it is the school league tables, which obviously then creates the housing price bubbles in catchment areas, causing the problem.

We don't
But we do hate eastern Europeans who come here and suppress skilled engineering jobs to minimum wage.

I used to earn £15/h milling, now it's a £7 mcjob.

Uk has no social mobility anymore. The only possible way to make it as working class with a brain is to leave the country.

Otherwise, you have a huge disadvantage where everyone else in same education and iq has a big leg up above you.

Im a workingclass cuck and god it is frustrating figuring out how to navigate this shitstorm without going through normie paths which are designed to put you behind. Only option is not play the same game. Euntrepeneurial spirit and investing is all i can think of, along with moving out the country.

Why hate them?

It is not their fault, it is the fault of those that facilitate globalisation - i.e. your boss, lobbyists, kikes, EU, they are just doing what any sane person would do in maximising the value for their labour.

lol blame yourself for overpriced labour.

Interesting. Can you elaborate more on your point?

I am about to graduate from a computer science degree and have been wondering why most of the technology graduate jobs in the UK heavily involve management/leadership tasks rather than actual programming.

What do you mean? Why is everyone promoting this job so much then?

Where do you plan on emigrating to?

Indians program and you manage a team of Indians, trying to convince them to do quality work for inadequate wages. Good luck slave driver.

no, programming is not outsourced.
development jobs are fine in the UK and are good for progressing if you're actually good.

Or any other EE country. Bulgaria you can earn the purchasing power equivalent of like 5k€/month after taxes doing programming.

Unless you are born in Switzerland, western europe is a fucking meme

Top tip. Dont ever talk to Brits who actually live there. I swear to god they are more brainwashed than North Koreans. Their programming is just to blame Brexit and political party X. They are lost....Dont try.

I am a Brit who left....I know these poor bastards.

Don't be like that. Some of us are too poor/have family.

So most of your money is to pay for what was probably a manual labours lodgings from the industrial revolution Winner...

lots of people ITT are suggesting 'leaving the country', but what exactly do you think will change when you leave for another western country? as someone who has lived in several different anglo sphere countries i can tell you things wont be much different for you if you are working class.

Sonar Engineer and associated software

This is bollocks. The UK isn't great but it's in no way as bad as you are making it out to be. I grew up on a council estate, went to a shit school and didn't do particularly well and didn't go to university. I got a shit IT helpdesk job after school, then worked my way up and have been earning 100k+ a year as in IT contractor for several years and i haven't exactly worked my arse off and by my own admission am not the smartest, I've just pulled my finger out a little bit more than my lazy colleagues. I have several friends from similar backgrounds that are also doing very well for themselves in various different professions. Opportunities are there in the UK you just need to put the effort in and go for them. I've worked with people of all backgrounds (many from private school and top unis) and have never experienced anyone looking down on me. Infact probably the opposite, people have been impressed that i've managed to do fairly well considering my background. This is not me trying to congratulate myself, im a lazy fuck and if i'd put my mind to it i could have probably achieved far more. If you are browsing this board you probably already have the brains to make something of yourself and the UK really isn't that bad place to have a crack at it..

Which is why everyone is saying to go to either eastern or southern europe. Why the fuck do you want to stay in the west anyway?
>trash girls
>shit weather
>high taxes
>low purchasing power
>stupid rules and restrictions
>feminism, pc, soiboi culture
>full of niggers and arabs

There is no reason to fucking stay there. This is coming from someone who moved from one of the "supposedly best" countries in west europe to one of the "supposedly worst" countries in east.
Sure life is rougher but it is still much better

I wage cuck for the air force in the UK. Easily work 50 hours a week for £1600 a month after taxes. The job is great at times, get to travel and see some pretty amazing shit for free. I have no outgoings apart from a monthly phone contract and car insurance. I save up most of my money so I will have a fat stack when I leave plus some bonuses for the time I've spent in the forces.

However, I spent 10 day's in Bangkok by myself last month and it was the best ten day's of my damn existence on this planet. I went there to see another culture and see what the women were like. Now I am considering moving to Asia when my time is up. Around the next 9 years.

So for all you guy's who say "screw the UK I'm going to Asia", I cannot blame you people and wish you the best of luck.

If anyone can recommend the best incomes for living in Asia I would most appreciate it.

What is the nature of your work exactly? Also what (if any) qualifications did you need? Genuinely interested, sounds like one of the better ways of wagecucking.

Do you hold Ark?

>air force
> 1 600 a month

Am I missing something ?How the fuck is this possible ? Are you a toilet cleaner on planes ?

Simply, I fix aircraft. From when I joined 3 years ago, you need around 5 GCSE'S at level A-C to qualify which is what you should have already including maths, English and science.

I joined because it was better pay than doing shit wage cuck jobs in the north east of England or working as a slave in construction.

That is a job but fortunately it is not mine. But I do get paid the same as the toilet cleaner but only because I have 1 years experience and I'm a low rank. Still better than 90% of civilian jobs.

>50 hours a week for £1600 a month

what in the christ, you can earn this just working for the council doing 37 hrs a week on flexitime

I'm honestly THIS fucking close to packing it all up and moving to somewhere more comfy like spain

But I've lived abroad before and I always get homesick, i'm just too autistic for life in a country where I know nothing even though I earn money remotely and I know my pounds would go further there

I have been NEET for a few days

I spend too much on junk food and coffee so I barely saved anything when I worked.

I live with my parents.

I have no idea what my financial future will be like.

To give you my perspective: I grew up in a middle class home, went to a regular school, did very well in school, went to my nearest university (not the best I could have gone to, but not a total disaster), hated my STEM degree, was an ugly loser loner all through uni, had tonnes of graduate job interviews (including investment banking, public sector, prestigious stuff), failed them all, spent some time retailcucking after uni while living at home, spent some time working in London in a kind of prestigious looking on my CV job but lowly paid (required almost zero actual work; I was a tourist paid by taxpayers, pretty much, thanks guys), now back home retailcucking, but I was let go from my minimum wage job.

Life in the UK is brutal if you are not extroverted and either posh or one of da ladz. I don't want to pretend that Britain is uniquely shit, and it's probably the best place to be all things considered, but there is simply no place for me here. Every single graduate job interview process requires nothing but extroversion and BSing and being similar to the interviewer. Is this the end game of technological society? A bunch of small minded fuckers who can only judge on appearances because somebody else is doing the hard technical work? Its telling that the word "meritocracy" was invented by a posh British guy who used it as a warning. Sometimes I wish I was German.

I am not too pessimistic about getting a "respected" job. I am pessimistic about being motivated, enjoying life, feeling like I have any place in society.

I think some of the people in this topic are ignorant when they talk about "working their way up". Pay attention. If you didn't go straight from Oxbridge to investment banking / magic circle law / top tier public sector then you are kind of fucked.

How old are you?

This. I considered a finance degree here but realised if not going to top uni not to bother. Ever since wolf of wall street every cunt is trying from any old uni. No chance. Why compete so hard to be an analyst and treated like shit.
At least in USA there is mobility unlike here.

You seems to skim over the fact he has no outgoings.

Paramedic. Earn £2.6k p/m. Rent about £500. Save about £1000 per month. Probably on the lower scale of pay for this job in the world. My job is versatile though and I can move around to earn more money. Australia approx. $100k AUD per annum, Canada $100k CAD per annum, dubai $100K USD per annum untaxed.

Someone told me 90% of paramedics jobs are helping old people who fell over. is that true?

Wages here are fucking shit tier.

But then again, you work for a socialised health care provider - of course you won't earn big bucks in the shitty NHS.

I feel bad for you, I used to live in a flat in Cambridge above some rich old boomer with dementia who would have you lads out every single fucking night. Every. Night.

>work for the council

Also to add to this thread. My grill is E. European, so my circle of friends includes a lot of migrants - either who came here to study during uni years or to work post-2004.

Many have already moved back, and when you talk to the ones that remain, the majority are making plans to eventually return to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia etc.

Basically they are becoming redpilled. Back home in Poland / Lithuania, the low tier migrants that come here to work in chicken slaughtering factories or on farms are a laughing stock of those back home. Poland has had consistent 5% yearly growth since 2004 and is now classed as a developed nation, Lithuania also has double the growth that the UK has EVEN DESPITE the loss of working age population due to the post-2004 rush.

The middle class E. Euros - of which my grill has in her social circle, basically see the same thing as we do - high living prices, wages which don't match the effort or skill for the job and lowering purchasing power versus the Euro / Zloty due to Brexit.

Also their governments have started spending a lot of money on enticing people back, or retaining talent. Bank of Lithuania funds a lot of internships to places like Hong Kong, Singapore, NYC etc - with the stipulation of returning home after and working for local firm or setting up businesses locally.

At least that is the picture for Poland / Baltics. Bulgaria and Romania haven't caught up yet.

thanks for sharing user. What would you say is a good oppertunity to take advantage of the situation? (growth may continue, get in early). You mentioned Estonian start up life earlier in thread, best way to get into that?

Dude he’s chatting shit. The amount of dev work floating around in a major hub city like Leeds, Manchester or London is ridiculous.

As a contractor I get several £500 per day job offers a week. You just need to know how to play the game and not be autistic with recruiters and hiring managers.

I take home around £100k before tax and even then that works out better than income tax because it’s all dividends. Programming in the UK is certainly not a meme and if my LinkedIn inbox is anything to go off, it’s only going to get better in the short term with brexit. Go for it.
