But more than 9,000 miles away from Colorado, Haag said, his student loans don't feel real anymore. > Haag had some hope restored when he landed full-time work as a medical courier in Denver, delivering urine and blood samples to hospitals. > However, he was disappointed to find that he brought home just $1,700 a month. He had little money left over after he paid his student loan bill. He couldn't afford an apartment in the city, where rents have been rising sharply. He lived with his mother and rarely went out with friends. > "I couldn't make the math work in America," Haag said. > Adjusting to a new country, he admitted, has not been entirely easy. "Some toilets here are holes in the ground you squat over," Haag said. Recently, he ate spoiled goat meat at a local restaurant and landed in the emergency room.

lol the populace this stupid ass country is so disillusioned in their politicians who allow this kind of nonsense, that they elected a game show host who can't control his bowels, we are absolutely fucked and its all because of greed
Connor Price
Yes, goyim, a 'game show host'. That is the truth, and he was 'elected'.

I'm so glad my country got off the 'be like amerikkka' train during the bush presidency.

Trades suck ass dude. Every beaner and his 4 kids are in this shit, It’s not some secret whiteman 100k club. It’s a step up from min wage jobs.
This 6:30am-6:30pm 5-6 days a week (today is the first time I'm on a 7th day nonstop), of course tomorrow means the start of another week so that will be 12 days in a row of work by Saturday. Hard farm work. End result? €250 a month disposable, €650 before rent/taxes/health insurance. Trades are a meme
Going to top tier expensive schools without scholarships and getting useless meme degrees and not being able to pay back their loans because nobody buy Starbucks wants to hire an art major
Austin Stewart
It's really fucking stupid.
I spent 6 years getting a masters degree in engineering then got a job doing engineering making an engineering salary.
Total cost came out to just about $120K.
The most sad part is all I do excel shit all day and the most complicated calculations I have to do involve division and multiplication. There is nothing difficult or challenging about the job, you could train just about anyone to do it. You're being generous if you say you use 10% of what you learned in school on the job.
All of my co-workers are women and minorities who obviously didn't pay attention in class because they don't know basic science which is fine because you don't have to be smart to be an engineer, it just shows that the whole system is a charade and should just fucking collapse already.
Adrian Robinson
The absolute state of mutts with useless degrees. If you aren't studying STEM, finance or law then college most likely isn't worth it in the US.
Jayden Nguyen
hehe imagine being this guy. I hope you make 4000$/month though? Netto
Grayson Hughes
Come to Germany, guys very cheap fees, like a few hundred per semester at best. If you can find someone to stay with its genuinely more affordable than going to many universities in the US/UK
And I should probably add that that's assuming you get good grades and good internships. If you end up like this guy then an engineering degree obviously is a meme.
Gabriel Green
Idk about Germany but in Scandinavia they have a lot of degrees taught entirely in English.
Zachary Hernandez
Don’t bother. Renting is fucking ridiculous here atm. Like insane, especially in Dublin.
If you’re a quiet guy you could go somewhere more rural or even a smaller city like Waterford. It’s nice there but opportunities aren’t like Dublin. I live down by the grand canal in Dublin and it’s extortionate here
Connor Martinez
Kinda, maybe for very basic day-to-day, but some courses depending on university are actually offered in full English, most people speak it, even some movies at the cinema here are played in English with Deutsch subtitles (serious) so potentially it could be done depending on what you want to learn
True, I once worked for a marketing company that arranged for foreign sudents to go to study places like Jönköping, Sweden that does courses in English
Xavier Carter
People don't seem to realize that trades haven't been a good career path worldwide since 2013. In my country even electricians get paid fuck all now.

> 35k over 5 years
Yeah maybe 20 fucking years ago grandpa. 3.5k a semester? Get fucking real even community colleges cost more than that and you can’t get more than an AA there

>Come to Germany >Get raped by 20% VAT and 50cent/kwh >Live with Achmed and Obungu for 500 dollar in a 10 qm cuck shed >Learn CS from blue haired 50 year old student parliamentarian lefties Germany is worse than any shithole in South America
> school is cheap when you don’t have to pay anything besides tuition
I’ll admit that’s some reasonable tuition, but you’ve got it pretty fucking easy if you don’t have to pay for anything else besides the absolute bare minimum. You’re also not paying the additional out-of-state fees yet you have the benefit of not having to pay for ludicrous housing/intangibles in California because your parents paid that for you too.
Also, “just illegally download books instead of buying/renting them” is not a good solution. The textbook industry is a sham no doubt, but that’s basically stealing, which could be an ethics violation and could potentially affect a future career if you’re pursuing law enforcement or something like that in the small chance you get caught. May not be a big deal to you, but it’s not a solution for everybody
Aaron Jones
What are you doing, retards? You do realize that college education is subsidized by the state in the EU and YOU are fucking paying for it from your taxes. You're literally inviting more mutts to leech off your taxes, morons. Might as well invite them to your homes and give them your money, so they can get cheap education and health care then return to the "the land of the free" and brag about " how cucked the yuropoors are". And then cry that everything is overcrowded and the government taxes the shit out of you. Americucks take great pride that "they aren't commies" and brag about their superior colleges and healthcare all the time. Why would you want them to suffer in "European communist shitholes" with affordable education and helthcare? Let them enjoy "America the Beautiful"
Joseph Richardson
I go to the University of Texas. My engineering tuition is $5k a year. 100% srs

Bentley Long
Go in welding that is the repeal secret club

What is the interest rate on student loans in America? If it is sufficiently low you can just pay back the bare minimum + interest, which shouldn't make it such a burden.
Henry Nguyen

you should take SU-loan in addition to SU, the interest rate is 4%.. The safest stocks on the planet give you 5% annual return, it is litterally free money they are handing out - if you invest.
Jacob Ward
That's actually fraud. It's one thing to get loans, pay the school and intentionally not pay it back after and a completely different thing to spend the money on something else entirely.
Hudson Sanders
> Half of student loan borrowers haven't paid even $1 toward their debt's principal five years into repayment, according to the U.S. Department of Education. Forty percent of student loan borrowers are expected to default by 2023, according to the Brookings Institution.
This is actually big. If 40% or more defaults the entire system will implode. Hopefully.
I racked up over 100k myself and ditched my home country for another 1st world nation. Whenever I go back I am not arrested at the airport, I've done it numerous times.

You literally couldn't make this shit up even if you wanted to. These plebes lived above their means and now you will have austerity for half a century to teach the rest of you a lesson.
I could go on about "the absolute state of burgers" and whatnot, but then I remember eurotrashies have already commited to 50 years of miserable austerity measures everywhere.
Prepare your anuses for the complete breakdown of western civilization as we knew it.
Imagine how fucked we are when the white guy watching the elephants in his backyard while squatting over a hole in the ground to take a shit is actually the one doing the right thing.
> Americans flee to the third world just to survive > Poos and Chinese flood North America and take high end jobs and real estate > Jow Forums says the American deserves what he got

I just explained that borrowing the money and using it to not pay for your college/uni is fraud and something you can actually be arrested for. This means when he comes back there could be a warrant for his arrest, that's what stops him or at least gives him pause. If you ditch your loan obligations after the school are paid that's not illegal, it just ruins your credit for a long time and they will garnish your wages.
That statistic is insane, I agree. It's entirely rational to just pay the interest since practically everyone on the planet is servicing their debt by selling their inflated assets ie property, Bitcoin, land, stocks.
They are picking real fucking weirdo's though. A guy that chose to live in a jungle because of a paltry 20k he could probably pay for with a kickstarter or youtube cyberbegging. He can't even go back without risking coming home to a bench warrant for his arrest.
The only reason this entire thing is not collapsing is because of IBR but the days have to be numbered. It can't go on forever like this.

Other than the guy who got permanent residence in Ukraine they are all fucked.
The niglette can't stay in Japan unless she find a Japanese guy who likes black women. Probably not going happen. Eventually her work visa will expire and have to come back.
The guy in India can stay there as long as he is healthy. Once he or his wife gets sick I'm not sure what his plan is.
These niggers don't have a plan. I took off but I had 2 other 1st world passports and the country I left doesn't jail you ditching your loans when you return (yes, they garnish wages).
Lucas Reyes
memelennials are 100% to blame. all my friends who got student loans used it ass free money to go on cruises and do coke. i worked and got scholarships and lived frugally. i am glad they are street shitting now

keep telling that yourself to justify your "system"
you know you could a degree for not even 3k there?
fuck VAT could be 100% and you would probably not even spend 10% of what you are paying
Jose Smith
This is actually caused by Americans' attempts to protect the blacks, as usual. The Supreme Court banned most aptitude tests for employers in Griggs v. Duke Power as it was considered racist. Then degrees were used as a proxy for competence, but the government tightened the rules around discharging student loan debt, making it very difficult, if not impossible. Then they started getting worried that not enough minorities were attending college so they offered them federally guaranteed loans. With a captive consumer base and guaranteed money, colleges responded by raising tuition and using the tuition hike to increase administrative pay. Now we apparently have 40% of borrowers not making a payment towards the principal of the loan.
Blake Hill
yup, basically everything in American society short of brain surgery and high level technological R&D is a big game of make-believe to keep people too occupied to storm a government building. the majority of jobs are a result of politically-created problems, and very few are actually of any importance. that's where they get you. now that you have this big debt over your head and realize this you realize you can be replaced by a retard and maybe you even are a retard
Dominic Young

These idiots knew the risk when they took they loans I'm sure most even knew they were not smart enough to make it
Hunter Phillips
Where were their parents?Schools are to blame too.Why let your kid ruin themselves?
Lucas Gutierrez
In cities, yes. If you live in the rural areas of the midwest or the rural areas of the south, there's an incredible amount of high paying jobs. I literally forgot I applied to my previous job and started at $20.30 hr plus all the overtime I wanted. Was making literally $70k+ for a job I forgot I applied to and it wasn't just me. Everyone in my department was making that and even some of the workers were making more than management due to overtime payout
Just moved to the city recently though and I already want to kill myself
Leo Bailey
There is no way vast majority will never pay back these debts. Trump should chane things so these millenals could decalre personal bankruptcy only then banks stop loaning money. Also that is how trump would win millenal vote, now they are voting for democrats in hopes to escape student loan but democrats were the ones who made these not qualified for personal banckruptcy
Nope. You're paying back those loans or enjoying your shit credit for life faggot hahahahahahahaha get rekt bitch
Benjamin Hughes

Do you at least make good money? My first boss was a nice guy who had an engineering degree and he was the manager at Kroger. He still is one too last time I heard.
Logan James
I have no debt. No student no mortgage. But the problem is now that some peopke have paid back debt they dont like others to escape freely (as you do) and others are buried in debt
we have future farmers of america in some rural schools. then some colleges teach ag science. but im thinking that mainly for people who want to work farms for mcdonalds and other megacorporations.
John Allen
so should i even bother making payments on my loans?
you think they'll just garnish everyones wages and welfare checks?
Grayson Jenkins

Literally this. My dad kept pushing me to go to school even though I didn't want to at the time. I got into not too much debt but dropped out and still owe like 8 grand. Glad I got out when I could. Boomers will convince you that you need to go. And they don't teach basic financials and debt in highschool. My dad didn't even teach me about money. A lot of kids don't even know and are kept ignorant.
Adam Myers
>don't have to be smart to be an engineer How dumb are you? Maybe if you consider creating spreadsheets being an "engineer". Who do you think designed the fucking processor in your computer, retard
Lincoln Gutierrez
we should just kill anyone who doesn't pay it back in full within 20 years of graduating or the last class they took. we can pay per view the executions nationally and make them entertaining. it will probably make more money than is even owed on the debt, and seeing such things first hand will definitely make people think twice before they take out the loan
Gavin Flores
I say goddamn! If I had a roopee for every time I ate spoiled goat meat and woke up in the emergency room I would be able to pay my medical bills, sirs.
Liam Bailey
Glad I pulled out of that meme shit with only 2000 in student debt. Crypto is a better investment than that bull shit. Live with your parents if you have to and just set aside a small portion a month or even check like I do.

>Get raped as a kid >Live as a neet most of my life, escape life by playing vidya >Skip out opportunities like making money through playing vidya online and bitcoin >Have to finish my high school diploma in adult school because i didn't give much of a shit >Reach college >No clear path to take, couldn't go for a network and programming diploma since i skipped out the maths for it >Waste almost one year there before i realize that i was learning something i didn't want to do at all >Get myself a diploma in computer work, even get course on programming and networking which was seriously piss easy >Have to do it for FREE by working for three different boss while getting my diploma >Turns out College and the whole school system was a meme all along, realize if i was still a kid and learning programming, I'd have the creativity to do good shit instead of thinking people already did everything i want to do and just give up like a nigger >Become a neet again for a whole year while trying to find a job >Get a shitty helpdesk job at the lowest wage, drop it the second i can >Finally get a nice 18$/h contract >Turns out the salary I'm doing isn't even good for getting a house and my parents didn't even do this sort of salary until recently >Meanwhile migrants from other countries come here, get nice paying jobs and become entrepreneurs right and left >The absolute state of Canada
I'm lucky in a way, i got nice parents that don't give much of a shit if i don't cough money, I don't have debts and I still have a long life to live. But I'm near being a 30 years old NEET with nothing good to show for. Just wish the school system wasn't a fucking piece of shit. I didn't even learn jack about true Jow Forumsness my whole life because the school system isn't doing anything for it except piss easy maths and my parents were wagecucks all their life
I'm generally not a doomsday scenario type guy, but if there is one thing I hope to happen in my lifetime is the tuition bubble popping and the entire university system collapsing and changing into something more useful.
Complete and utter fucking scam. Most degrees are fucking worthless. My 4 year business degree is useless and I know it's my fault for being retarded and entitled when I was young, and for not doing STEM or of the likes, but i was fucking 18. What the fuck do I know what I want to do?
I know people may think of these as memes because it's all new and not "accepted by society", but I hope sites like Coursera and Udemy where you buy courses and learn online continue to grow and overthrow the education system. Hopefully more employers learn to hire people because they're competent and not because of a degree. A degree does not equal competence.
Chase Reed
What's stopping you from becoming an entrepreneur?

So logistics in production plants (pork, chicken, beef, etc.) is a great place. You don't have to deal with the gross bullshit of slaughter and it gives you great experience with other areas and at most companies you will directly deal with corporate. Downsides are most of the people you work with will either be Spanish speakers for pork and chicken. Beef has a lot of Somalians and Arabs. Farming (depending on were you are) is always in need of help in spring and fall and they pay great with on site training. Silo companies and product distribution is a little tougher to get into but they pay well. Even in the towns, working in fast food, retail, etc pays $4 - $5 above minimum wage due to employee demand and work ethic and most places are willing to hand out overtime for the previous reasons
In terms of work, it depends on what you do. I was in logistics management and mostly just sat in an office and did order shit and arranged orders for the guys. If the guys needed help I'd be out on the floor helping them. Certain days I was literally moments away from walking out but some days I'd be doing nothing for hours
Adrian Thompson

Seems like everyone dumps on China and their whole social credit scoring system, saying it’s social engineering and a violation of human rights. But we’ve had that for ages in the US with our financial credit score system. If your credit score gets wrecked because of outstanding student loan debt, you’re fucked. It’s also not uncommon for companies to check the credit score of potential job candidates, and if your score is less than stellar you’re fucked. Apartment complexes do the same thing to renters, and that greatly restricts where you can live. Even if you can pay a full year of rent in advance, they’ll still reject you.
Wanna get really fucked? Graduate from college with massive debt and then have a medical emergency without insurance. You can’t take a piss in a hospital without it costing $10K.
Landon Martinez
I'm sorry to hear than user but that whole getting raped thing, it looks like it's completely fucked up your will in life. You might want to dig a little deeper on that.
