I am sad. I bought this, but way back for $3. And I didn't buy it for a massive discount either because brainfog and my computer was broken. Is 680 Dero enough to make it?
I am sad. I bought this, but way back for $3...
Just checked, I only have 616 Dero even.
This shit better becomes the next Ethereum.
It's fine, you will be happy when DERO is $40
> ssshhh...
LOL! Wtf is a dero? never heard of it befor, and I'm a oldfag from december
You Lenocinium fucks shilled us pirl like crazy. I hope your mothers die in their sleep tonight.
> oldfag
> from december
chose one
DERO is the next generation of private coins
This shit better goes x100 right now. A few ten thousands don't change my life. I need at least 500k to feel safe.
A coin that promised smart contracts back in january. They had planned lot of updated, but most of them werent at time + 2 main moderator left project and started FUD. Which made the price fall from 27.000 sats to 5.000 sats. But dero started marketing and now its seems like smart contracts will be on time. If this is true then this will be second Ethereum.
Event better with Atomic Swap + Private Smart Contract, it will be like an Anonymous Chainlink.
>Premined
>ASIC controlled
>Only on sketchy exchanges
>Threads are always filled with Pajeets dropping buzzwords
Yep, it's a Pajeetcoin.
>Premined
Premine is locked.
>ASIC
Bring stability and cannot be stopped anyway. There's no ASIC resistance.
>sketchy exchanges
Don't store on an exchange.
>buzzwords
That's because it really is full of buzz words. Anonymous DAG, smart contracts, mining.. I like the sound of it.
sure, just add smart contracts and it will be second ethereum, lol
If it keeps everything it promises, it will actually be better than Ethereum. Time will tell.
>Premine is locked.
Source?
>Bring stability and cannot be stopped anyway. There's no ASIC resistance.
How can it bring stability when it's mined on one pool by like the 14 people that own old CN ASICs? Wouldn't GPU mining be better? Monero is ASIC resistant.
>Don't store on an exchange.
Still have to send them BTC if you want to buy this shit. TradeOgre is Coinsmarkets 2.0.
>That's because it really is full of buzz words.
Does it even have a whitepaper to back up any of its claims?
>Source?
September update.
>How can it bring stability when it's mined on one pool by like the 14 people that own old CN ASICs? Wouldn't GPU mining be better? Monero is ASIC resistant.
You really thin that gonna stop Bitmain you can update FPGA in less a weak and Build new ASIC in less than a month if you have the stuff for.
>Still have to send them BTC if you want to buy this shit. TradeOgre is Coinsmarkets 2.0.
Or you can wait for Binance when it will be already at $50.
>Does it even have a whitepaper to back up any of its claims?
Whitepaper draft on GitHub
ReadMe on GitHub for technical stuff
>Premine is locked.
Oh yeah, except for that time everyone was running closed source binaries and the price dumped down to where it is now.
>But muh premine wallet keys
cryptonote view keys only show keystore inputs, not outputs you dumbass
well first cryptonote coin with smart contracts is a pretty big deal desu
i bet Turtle will have it long before Dero.
but Dero will copy it and say they were first. Like always.
probably idk. dero is pretty scammy
dont kid yourself. turtle will never be anything more than a meme for newfags
paid to shill by dero dev
scam with 99% of the supply owned by one person.
dero dev is a fraud scammer.
okay, this is probably the best place to ask since this thread is filled with DERO shills, wtf is the point of DERO when XMR with bulletproof implementation exists and is in practice as fast and cheap as a DAG? Doesn't the bulletproof implementation basically just make DERO the Litecoin to XMR's Bitcoin? I'm not picking a side and don't give a fuck either way, just wondering how DEROlets cope with bulletproof?
XMR has 2 minute blocktimes - Dero has 12 second. Dero's bulletproofs are also over 10x more efficient than monero's.
That alone isnt that impressive but the real gamechanger will be when/if dero adds smart contracts in december.
Like I said, "in practice" it's as fast and cheap. In practice meaning that while the block time may be 12 seconds, the actual confirmation for a DERO transaction is around 2 minutes, giving it no true speed advantage other than in theory. Theoretical advantages are great for shilling to Jow Forums pajeets, but useless in reality.
Monero nor Dero invented Bulleproofs, each of them has just a different implementation and one is more optimized and faster.
> Monero 1 Block Time = 2 mins, so 10 confirmation = 20 mins.
> Dero 1 Block Time is 12sec = 120 sec for 10 confirmations (120 sec = 2min.)
How Dero is a fork of Monero if it is 10x time faster ?
Dero gonna implement Q4 smart contract, when Monero LAB try to understand how BlockDAG (PHANTOM protocol) white paper works.
11k Dero here. Bought madly in May with average price of around $2, up to around 6,000 Dero maybe. Then threw in $1200 when it hit the absolute bottom and nearly doubled my stack at those basement bargain prices. Overall, it averaged out to a pretty sweet buy-in price.
The answer is simple. Smart contracts, lad.
thats like saying "bitcoin transaction confirmatio" is 60 minutes so saying its 10 minutes is useless". In reality you can make a tx and after 12 sec have 99.999% certainty that it wont be double spent so its not just some pointless shilling point... especially for smart contracts where you need at least 1 confirm to do anything else on chain.
