The Linkpool DEX is going live very soon and I'm pondering for how much they will trade at launch and thereafter.
I expect the price to be initially very high, like over 10 ETH per share, but then to go down to more reasonable levels, maybe 5 ETH or so. The ICO price was 1 ETH / share after all.
So as someone interested in buying a share I think its best to not buy the first few days. What are your thoughts? Will the shares peak above 20 ETH?
i don't know, anyone who has held link for a while right now has a shit ton of ETH to play with now given how much ETH has tanked. I predict the ETH value of each token could be pretty high since ETH has a play money feel to it right now. I wouldn't be surprised if it were 20 or more, I could easily cash in 20 eth and not even feel it in my link stash.

Good point. Link doing so well vs ETH means that the portfolio of Link holders is worth alot more in ETH equivalent, so getting a share in order to get staking priority is probably very attractive.

Also, remember that the link rewards will probably be fairly high at first due to the relatively low price of the token and due to the team incentivizing operators.

Whoever owns the shares has staking priority. So if you sell all your shares you also sell your staking priority.

At first, only the crowdsale participants will be able to stake. After a while, the beta participants will be offered that possibility. Only afterwards the regular anons will be able to stake using linkpool.
