Let me put it this way, LINK is not a currency. It wont “moon” it won’t “correct”, if LINK is what I have been told it is, if LINK does what SWIFT is planning for it to do, you need an entirely net lexicon for what will happen to LINK. It’s not going to be green candles and red candles of a speculates coin fluctuating. It’s going to be like the railways or oil fields. It’s going to be a proportional entitlement to the entire network of open banking. Secured via ethereum smart contracts to give out dividends, it will entitle you access to the defacto network of transparent decentralised banking. I’m not telling you to go out and buy it because it might be awhile and there’s no real rush, right now the market is bearish and you might get dumped on, but watch LINK closely because one day you’ll be able to buy it and one day you’ll have to pay huge sums of money to get a stake in one of the most significant networks for modern banking you can imagine.

I thought before that it would shoot up to 3 USD when partnerships would announce and then climb up but I’m starting to think this whole thing is going to drop with mainnets, partnerships, functional nodes all at once. Especially after seeing all the documents leaked from LINK recently. (Saved on laptop but they were posted here). This will be a currency traded for speculation until it becomes what is essentially a security, not in the legal sense but in the “this thing entitled me to a share of this network” and people will pay huge sums for that access.

By far the most misinformed statements are the ones about LINK not needing a token and the token having no value, if you guys saw the picture you’d understand. When I have my laptop I’ll possibly post more in depth explanations. I don’t know yet, it’s been a busy week.

He hated price predictions. He said multiple times that price predictions are pretty much worthless because the market is so volatile. He also knew we were in a huge bubble at the time, so i'm guessing that estimate was calculated with the assumption that the entire market hadn't crashed by then.

The issue is, the Creatine guy has blonde hair. It's either the biggest coincidence ever, or it really is him. I will always remember the first post connecting Creatine's twitter and Assblaster. 2. Things he could know (industry discussions, use cases, interest)
Anything in category 1 that didn’t happen is just bad luck, he couldn’t possibly have known. Anything in category 2 is fair enough to assess him against, and by and large he was right.

This user is speaking truth. I remember at the time, AB KEPT saying look, nobody knows for sure WTF happens with price but since you dumbfucks keep asking, ok, here’s my guess.
But I agree with this user that it seems that AB was mostly right about things in item 2. He was the first one (that I saw at least) that actually came in and offered some explanation for why the finance industry would care about link, and also about why it was launched as a separate, independent chain. Contrast this what is happening in another huge industtry, shipping. Maersk teamed up with IBM to create a new DLT for tracking shipping. This is a huge fucking use case by the way which is still mostly run on Fucking paper invoices. Massive savings to be had from even a basic DLT. But everyone is saying fuck you Maersk, we don’t care if we can get 40% cost savings — we’re not joining some network where you are running the show. That would be like joining NBA where Lakers run the rules committee and the referees. Point is, finance world took a different approach and set the thing up as this independent startup. It was AB that explained that to me, and it makes sense, and I’ll always be grateful to him for that. I think he also put himself at some career risk to do it. I truly don’t give a shit whether his off the cufff prediction re price as of May was correct or not. In fact, even that he was careful about. He didn’t make any retarded “I guarantee this coin will moon” statements. In stead what he said was “I’ll be very surprised if it’s not at least $3.00.
