I have been in bearmode so long I'm terrified I'm going sell as soon as my stack hits leanFIRE size, like $800k or so (= 500k after tax so about about 20k annual draw if I put it in index funds). I don't really need dynastic wealth but it would be nice to hold on long enough for a nice middle class life in perpetuity (probably around 3 mil before tax, 2 mil after). That journey from $1M to $3M net worth is going to be so much harder than bagholding through 2018 was.
