Let's assume he is satoshi, not a given but for the sake of argument. Why would you assume he has dementia rather than assume he's actually right? I've seen this from csw that make me both believe he has unique insight and that he doesn't know everything. If there were concrete proof that he was satoshi I would know he has about 1mil btc and bch that he can put behind his agenda, in addition to knowing he has some unique insights into the situation. In that context I would think much harder about my present position of absolute neutrality vis abc and sv, and would need to be convinced that ABC is absolutely essential and sv simply can't work end of story.

Mtgox was a mistake. There is no discernible outcome where that could have been the correct move for the economy. CSW on the other hand *may* be right about SV vs ABC. And if he's satoshi and he has that amount of money behind him, the possibility should be given even more consideration.
