For those of you who don't hide behind your computers all day dropshitting and promoting Chinese internet money scams, what do you wear to work everyday, and what industry do you work in?
I've been offered an internship at a boutique private equity firm and looking to buy the following to boost my wardrobe...
Aren't you the //fa fag that has been shitting up biz with this same thread for years?
I've been gone. Have you been here all along? Sucks to be you in that case.

>wearing a full blown business suit >2018
Who fucking does this?
Only good little wagecucks like lawyers and real estate agents.
Jeremiah Brooks
Federal workers
Jack Gray
If I see a dude like in OPs pic, all I think is some faggot trying to show he is the apex wageslave.
Jason Brown
>lawyers I only wear a suit if I'm in court or deposition or something which is almost never
Nathaniel Rodriguez
Dropshipping isn't worth it anymore. Too many people know about it.
Jason Wright
I personally wouldn’t trust the advice of a guy wearing an oversized suit with unhemmed pants built up at the ankles.
Angel Gutierrez
Sure, but a lot of billionaires wagecucked in finance before starting their businesses. The reputation you build in a finance role gives you the authority to start a large enterprise much easier. People think you're some kind of god. The extra money doesn't hurt either.

dirty basketball shorts a torn wife beater my 10 year old pair of nikes the fake nail on my right pinky finger is worth more than most people's cars so fuck em Lmao

Yes, but he's dressed better and looks more in control than 99% of businessmen out there. One should aim for greatness in all aspects of life. I am already relatively Jow Forums, I read 2 hours a day, pay attention to skincare/haircare. The only logical step to improve others perception of me is by dressing better, so I am here asking.

I wear unwashed jeans, dirty suede dress shoes, and the same 3-4 dress shirts (unironed, untucked) to work. Havent cut my hair or shaved properly in half a year. Sometimes I throw on a ragged worn blue blazer. On Friday I wore a white blazer and got compliments - people started talking to me more. I wont do that again.
nothing wrong with unwashed jeans, a decent pair of jeans are good without a wash for a couple years unless you roll in mud every day or something also at least get a trim for your hair, split ends are gross I hope you shave your neck at least
>decent pair of jeans are good without a wash for a couple years >years

>make over 200k/yr working from home doing remote maintenance on electronic medical record applications >rarely wear pants
Feels good man.

Well, think of your typical wageslave that wears Walmart-tier clothing, weighs 195.7lbs with a 28.9 BMI, gets paid $37k a year, walking in the city with his wife, and 2.4 kids.
Suddenly I waltz in with my IWC Portugieser Chronograph Watch, Hermes Tie, Salvatore Ferragamo Belt, Allen Edmonds Park Avenue Cap-toe Oxford Shoes (presidents have worn these to their inaugurations), Ermenegildo Zegna Dress Shirt covered by my Bespoke Valentino Suit, and Oliver Peoples O'Malley Glasses.
Now be honest, how can this guy even compete in my presence? He is probably trying his best to make sure his wife doesn't look in my direction. With a nervous look he rounds up his kids and wife, and tries to change course, but inevitably his wife looks in my direction. Reality hits her in the face and she reconsiders her all the decisions she made in life leading up to this. Later at night, she lays on the bed by the man, and doesn't say a word.
Perception is reality brother. If you aren't perceived as a winner in life, then by association you will end up alongside the mediocre, and more often than not become mediocre yourself. I am not aiming to spend my life as a typical wagecuck wearing walmart-tier clothes and working for 45+ years with less than $10-$100M+ to show for it. I have to ascend to greatness by dressing the part.

I stopped wearing jeans in my Freshman year of college. I only wear wool blend suit pants now unless I am on vacation or something.
Elijah James
A little over the top but accurate. I wear an untucked collared shirt and jeans and this puts me as well dressed as the important people at work. Any more would be too much and cause weird vibes. Some days I wear shitty clothes just cause.
Cameron King
yes, years you think cowboys wranglers and bushrangers bought new jeans every few months?
Jayden Gutierrez
A good strategy I've found is that you should dress equal or better than your supervisors if you're looking for a promotion.
That means I will need to dress at least well as a Private Equity Analyst, perhaps Associate because becoming an analyst is a given assuming I don't fuck up.
Nicholas Stewart
Nigga you are crusty as fuck. Wash your jeans every other week at least. Also get some new kicks and better fitting jeans.

Fire retardant coveralls and safety boots I work in an oil company

Already been on /fa/ and advice has been absolute shit. Most of the people on /fa/ nowadays are zoomers without jobs or neckbeards that wear autistic shit. I'm sure if you've seen the people that show up to the meetups, you'd know what I'm talking about.
Jacob Mitchell
Yes I've heard this. It makes sense it's just a way of signalling you're hungry for more. Plenty of people at my job wear a hoodie and jeans, but I don't and that's why.
The base outfit should always be around what the heard is wearing though. Suite or even just tie would be inappropriate for me, but not at a finance place or business position.
