I agree that there is a use case there but think about it from Braves perspective. They're is a potential for content crossover on torrent sites. That means that Brave could potentially be trying to sell ad space not only to the companies that are trying to protect their content and its revenue, but also the people who are trying to steal and host said content.

I just don't see it happening. They have enough maturity and business sense to realize that this is a bad play not only with respect to their reputation but also legally as well. They're definitely going to be staying with safe (but important) websites or companies.

I've used it before on grounds of it being a privacy browser, when I wasn't invested in BAT. But I switched back to Firefox because of the power of mental inertia.
