>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy? Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
I saw this article on Marketwatch just now that may be of interest to discouraged red day hodlers. Basically the feller is arguing that, in this particular instance, the deep dip of October was worse than the indices showed, and that we bull now for real and etc etc.
I watched Ferris Bueller tonight and I fucking hated it. not a single likeable character. Ferris in an unbelive able cunt I would have told him to suck a fat dick if he tried any of that shit on me.

I wrote in last thread that I chose to make a bare ass in the wind YOLO play today that could make or break my whole year next week, dumping semi truck load of cash in to Quinsam Capital in expectation of outperformance on strength of Acreage Holdings public listing (expected Monday or Tuesday). A component of my bet is the timing on a series of dude weed earnings calls:
>Aurora Cannabis pre-market Monday >CRON pre-market Tuesday >Tilray after close Tuesday >Canopy Growth pre-market Wednesday
I think these financials will assuage some of the fear dude weed investors have about revenues in early recreational sales. While these earnings will no include any of the post-legal sales numbers, there will be wholesale product shipments and such, projections, plans, etc. that I'm sure the LPs will do their best to spin to look good. The idea is a few days of bounce and some momentum to help Acreage have a successful market debut.
If I'm wrong I will have to make a couple pretty frantic sell offs to defend against a rout. So... fun!
will i make it if i own QQQ, SPY, QLD, SSO and nothing else

>using the retarded burger definition of "liberal"
The word you're looking for is socialism, although you guys seem to be pretty bothered by social democrats too.
Liberalism LITERALLY means the rights of the individual comes first. Small government, free markets and all that shit. Please educate yourself before posting about shit you don't really know, americucks.

NIH funding is a minor part of the overall budget, and comparative behavioral physiology is interesting and necessary work for improving medical treatments.
Should all DARPA funding be cut too then? They spend boatloads on funding octopus camouflage research (will never have military applications) and social behavior of gambian pouched rats (will never have military applications).
Thomas Lewis
Yeah actually. Blatantly wasting 25% of our income is nonsense no matter what pretty words you use to sugar coat it
TA for Quinsam Capital. I wouldn't have made such a risky buy in today if the TA didn't look good so here's my assessment. Keep in mind, the dude weed earnings need to meet or expectations to maintain this momentum, otherwise QCA is likely to resume its flat bearish ranging.
>50day moving average crossed over the 100SMA recently >price action is consolidating just below the 200SMA and looks good to break above >CCI/RSI/StochRSI/MACD indicators look neutral to bullish >Qunisam held up extremely well under bearish sell frenzy on the dude weed the last two days
Moving average colour scheme is: 50 green 100 blue 200 purple

I don't agree with that assesment, people like to look for "thats jsut a theory, a game theory" moments when they aren't really there. For one thing the teacher calls both their names on the register and it shows two seperate empty desks. The movie is generaly trying to explore late childhood/early adulthood and it does that by taking the two extremes of that state of mind puting them in seperate characters and analysing them individualy.
or what if feris really was sick and the whole movie is a fever dream from the hostpital btu that's jsut a theaory... aa gajdlahjklfd ajlkdah ejip qheuipqe9p8

Having a sizeable percentage of my salary being paid by military budget (not US) is pretty comfy. Military research is pretty interesting.

No this week is Ella Cinders, nikki has been wanting it forever and now our spooktober is over we can finally watch it. I can host again if a certain (((pizza delivery driver))) can’t. Also it’s not until tomorrow, don’t know why we’re talking about it now. Planning ahead is for chumps
Why is Jow Forums full of fragile special snowflakes? Ive been shitposting for over 10 years in pretty much every board on earth and this if first time i got banned lol.
Reminder: Our hero releases the facts of the drug on Saturday. Sales of it is already up by 15%. They are getting ready to expand the sales force to promote the drug (which is a good indicator the drug is a sure thing, otherwise why bother?). Potential 1 billion in drug sales in 2019. Take over offer is a pretty sure bet after the 10th. All this means is that the Profit Train is almost ready to leave the station. You better get onboard now before it leaves you behind.
I've got 20 shares. Bought them all at $19 per. If our hero climbs to $40 per, I've doubled my money. If it climbs to $80, that's triple. At $100, well I think that's Quad. A take over offer would put the share price at least $40 per. No mater what I'm gonna come out ahead.

>when the indexes are red and all of your handpicks are green
I purchased my first ever options contract. spy has to be under $278 for me to profit. I feel all funny inside, like, a voice in my head is telling me 'we bull now.'
thanks user. some stocks i bought near 52-week lows that i thought were oversold. except DIS, i've had those 3 shares ever since my grandmother gave them to me in the 90s.
David Brooks
Never let DIS go

it's unfortunate i only started re-investing the dividends this year, it would've been quite sizable by now. they are pretty much the coca-cola of media.

I hope none of you guys are in the path of the wildfires. Stay safe pls.
as crypto seems to be totally dead and people start realizing that. wont this general be overflooded with crypto exodus? Did smg's 10 autists prepare for this moment?
Yeah, I'm gonna hang on to my shares for 30 years, let the dividends reinvest themselves. Figure I'll have a nice fat payday after all that time. Some are companies that'll be kicking in 30 years (Dis/KO/T/APPL/MS) while others show lots of growth ahead (Sq, Armn,Shop,Esty,EB,SFM). My ace in the hole is my ETFs and Mutual fund.

If they can't make a crypto general I don't know why any would bother coming into this thread.

Good strategy there, hoping to do the same as i build up capital. Screwing with gold and silver miners currently.
I jumped on the Barrck Gold train. Figure hey better get on board while its cheap. Number 1 largest gold miner now. When things turn to shit, everyone will be flocking back to gold.

Also got in on this little penny stock, New Age Farms. They're a pot growing outfit that just recently branched out into the drink market. Bought over 200 shares for nothing. Who knows? Maybe it'll take off, maybe not, but like I said it didn't cost me anything really.

>check out Jow Forums 2 years ago because of sudden interest in stocks >spend the next few days reading for 12+ hours a day >nowhere near enough ready to actually start trading >do it anyway because I'm an impatient boy >not very confident and very low capital >put in $500 divided across a couple of stocks I have a good feeling about after doing some 'in-depth' research >decide to hold until I feel the price is right >a year or so passes by >life happens and I'm in dire need of money >sell all my shares at a loss small loss of about $30 >forwards to today >against my better judgement I decide to check out what could have been >prices of shares across the board have increased by a minimum of 20% of my buying price while some as high as 1000% I'm pretty sad now. Now my biggest problem is figuring out if it was just luck or if I'm actually decent at this shit.
they were waiting for your shares in order to run it up.

I am as well, recently bought in. Felt bad i didn't buy back in September when the price was $13, but i still think it can grow far more. Especially with their recent merger with Randgold which gives me allot of optimism.
Ill keep it on my watch list for sure, and likewise here's also a weed penny stock I've been keeping my eye on, Puration Inc. Their a water filtration company that has recently gotten into Cannabis Infused Beverage's. They had a major pump back in early October from 0.02 to 0.21 and have held at around 0.10 since.
