using FUN + Fantom to swing trade into ETH, then wait ETH/BTC ratio to bounce up a bit so i can exchange some into BTC

I don't know. Given your volume I would not go past three coins, especially if you go for high market cap ones, so if you prefer you can drop ETH for XLM.
Most importantly, try to think about your strategy, then choose your allocation accordingly. I know it's hard when you begin but you have to choose your coins and give up on the others, it's the only logical way to go if you don't have that much money to invest. You'll probably see other coins moon on the way but stick to your plan once you made your mind. Always remember that if you see it mooning it's too late.

Tronpeople are currently contacting dapp devs to develop things for their platform. They are gung ho on making this thing a true ETH competitor. Not saying it will surpass ETH or anything, but they are serious about hyping this thing at least back to old all time highs.

Idea was to help OP put things into perspective and plan his allocation. A way to do that can be by categorising assets, comparisons are just a way to make a new fag understand the principle of it. This whole market is new, tactical framework isn't developed yet, got to use a little imagination, sorry your brain can't grasp such things.
